"Jacque, flying wolves can reach speeds of up to ninety miles per hour. I don't think you'll be able to outrun them. However, that's still a good idea. We need bait. Let's see..." Diego looked off into the distance, lost in thought. "That's it! Flying wolves won't attack anything unless its dead. Sort of like wolf vultures. So we play dead. Once the wolves get close, we overpower one of them, pin it down. I'll hop onto its back. Then I'll try and fly it up to the window," with that, Diego flopped to the ground. Julia shrugged and collapsed onto the grass as well. Two wolves take notice, but only circle over their heads- they do not dive down to attack the group.

"Retreat! Fall back! He's not worth it! A magic user will get him!" calls out one of the men. The swordsman pinning James is temporarily distracted. James seizes the opportunity and swipes the man's sword. He slashes at the swordsman who screams, blood pouring from his chest. But, as he bleeds, he lands a blow on James' skull. James crumbles to the floor, unconscious. The swordsman is not so lucky. The cut is deep, and he is mortally wounded. After briefly writhing in pain, he collapses lifeless to the floor.

The men do the best they can to retreat, but only one escapes. The others are killed by the orc and Nikolai. The orc may not have possessed finesse, but his blows were powerful. He struck one man's sword so hard that it splintered the hilt.

The orc doesn't react to Nikolai's insult. Clearly, he doesn't speak Czech. "Leh...Мы должны бежать.Leh Будете ли вы принимать этот уродливый человеческий девушку и ранил человека человеку с вами Leh Leh Leh Leh?" he says.

"While I can't conjure a deer, I can make some noise!" said Habb upon hearing Diego's plan. Someone needed to play dead on the ground, but the beasts did not seem to focus their attention on anyone in the fellowship; and they needed to be distracted so that the others could regroup and get ready to jump on their backs as soon as possible. Habb would distract them and fall, he decided, and he had an idea how to do it.

He took a deep breath and filled his lungs with air, and then, after pressing his lips with his thumb and making a strange symbol on them, he let the air out in a loud thundering explosion that echoed all the way to the hill beyond the woods. The wolves twitched and whirled around, howling louder than before, their sensitive ears so violently pierced. They turned around towards Habb and descended upon him with open jaws, just as he fell on the ground, seemingly dead.

Zenia peeked above the couch, good, it seemed all the current foes were defeated besides the one that ran for it. Unfortunately it seemed that another language barrier had been posed and Zenia could not over come this one. Though she recalled one of the, now dead and or dying, humans giving the creature commands in English. Standing up from the ground Zenia stepped forward and tapped the Orc on his shoulder, "Hello, I am Zenia. Can you speak this language?" she asked in the most polite tone of voice she could muster, making sure she didn't sound condescending. She had only been here for less half an hour and she had already conversed more than she usually did in several days. How unusual. Of course the main problem at hand was speed, as the escape was no doubt rushing to get reinforcements at this very moment. Whats more depending on how strong magic-users were on average they could be in serious trouble. That and of course James was laying on the ground unconscious and bleeding, in hindsight perhaps she should've attempted to deal with that first.

Jackie suppressed a look of bemusement, deciding for herself that this plan had a small chance of success. It was likely that at this point anyone left in the room would either be dead or waist deep in a bloody melee. Any avenue of escape, be it climbing up the chimney or riding out on a flying wolf would leave one quite vulnerable, meaning someone would have to be left behind to watch the escapees back. She idly wondered if Diego had been keeping anything from them, perhaps he had already visited these 'Crystal Rivers' and gained some sort of powers? It might explain his confidence.

She turned for the ramp, heading over to climb her way back to the roof. If this plan of Diego's went south then the only way out would be to fight to the ground floor. She turned back for a moment before starting the climb.

"If this wolf thing goes south try to fight your way up from the ground floor. We'll have them on two fronts then and should have an easier time of it. Hit hard and fast and keep moving. Don't get surrounded."

With that said she continued the climb back up to the roof.
