Zoey turned her attention from the fountain, seeing Adam walking off the branch, she stood up, one hand grabbing the body of the tree and the other latching on to his collar. "Ey Mind-blower, you're gonna hurt yourself if you don't snap out of it."

Adam blinked as he snapped out of it and looked to see who was grabbing his shirt collar . He saw Zoey . Suddenly he realized that he was standing on the branch and about to walk off . He rubbed the back of his neck, thinking about what happened . "Damn..." He slowly sat down .

Adam sighed and shook his head . "Ugh... I don't know ." He cringed at his horrible headache and glanced back at the fountain, careful not to focus on the spirits' thoughts again . "That fountain, it's... It's something..."

Adam sat back against the tree and sighed, rubbing his forehead in hopes of lessening the effects of his headache . "I want to talk to them . I could talk to them, if they weren't so..." he paused, thinking of the right words . "They're lost, but they're unknowingly vengeful . They don't seem to know what they're capable of, and they don't want to hurt anyone . But... I only have such a strong will . Stronger than any mortal, and still stronger than most immortals . But the undead is a whole new level of communication . We'd have to find someone else to talk to them..."

"Not personally. I've just seen him in passing.. Sorta. He'd be on campus with his little girlfriend or talking to a spirit and I'd be on the roof." Zoey replied bluntly.

The bell rang for lunch, startling Ezra out of his daydreams. "Lunch already?" He packed away his books, glancing at the brief and sleepily written notes. He stretched and looked over to Tara. "Wanna go off-campus for lunch?"

Avalyn had already packed away her things when the bell rang, quickly walking out of the classroom to meet her brother outside the school's cafeteria.
