Race: Panderion
Race Appearance: The Panderions have a strong resemblance to cats. They have white, short hair all over their body. Panderions resemble hairy, feral lions standing seven feet tall. Their claws are not long and sharp enough to be used as weapons, so a Panderion will often armor and arm themselves with a variety of purloined gear. Most often, this gear is second-rate and in poor repair. They weigh on average 250 - 300 lbs and are heavyset often being well muscled.
Race Characteristics:
Panderions have a reputation for being dim-witted and brutish. This claim is not wholly unfounded as they have easily provoked tempers and are prone to fitful rages. Few Panderions overcome this and their culture's brutal nature. Panderion heroes, though rare, are heard of and can acquire significant renown if successful. As a culture, the Panderion value and recognize honor and glory obtained through battle. The Panderion are shown as a rather tribal race and seem to show no sympathy for the weak. They are a race who refuses to recognize another’s power over them. It is native to their race to be able to communicate with spirits.
Race: Mongerls
Race Appearance:
Race Characteristics: These ape-like men make their home around the Arid plains and the feet of the Dragon Spine mountains and the northern mountain ranges. Mongerls have a close connection with primal magic, and are some of the most skilled in its use. Many scholars believe primal magic in fact comes naturally to most of their ilk, with a good few extending their skills in it to become truly formidable. Mongrels are said to be swift warriors and skilled riders, that resemble anthropomorphic apes. They are also said to have a city deep in the Dragon Spine mountains called Cro Beska, but can also be found in the southern lands. Always a thorn in the side of the sides of the city states, as mongerls are said to kidnap men and women alike and, using powerful primal magic, forcefully transform them into bestial mounts, or simply steal and pillage what they can.
Race: Lycans
Race Appearance:
Race Characteristics: The Lycans have a strong resemblance to wolves, with rough short hair all over their body. They are equipped with an incredible sense of smell and amazing hearing. Lycans, also sometimes called the weretouched, are a race of humanoids said to have descended from interbreeding between lycanthropes and humans. Fierce and wild-spirited, Lycans are feared by many as much as their shapeshifting brethren. Lycans are commonly self-reliant and free-spirited. However, lycans are restrained in their actions by a fear that they might become lost in the savagery that dwells in their blood. This fear of losing control makes many lycans confrontational and reclusive. Some lycans, however, do fall prey to their more savage nature, and often raid caravans and smaller farming settlements to precure resources they cannot build themselves.
