OOC IS UP! Semi put together. (its nearly 3 AM)

You can post your characters, put them in hiders if you could.

Classes Yes I know, I left that off the character sheet for now, The game will start you off literally "tabula Rasa" if you haven't already googled that by now, it means clean slate. I expect the character sheets to be updated often so this small detail will be added shortly. If you have an idea for a character for a specific class, go ahead and post it. I love new ideas and I am not limiting the class/race decision in this RP so full speed ahead. (I'll accept pretty much anything.)

Maps, Towns, Items & Leveling Ah the backbone of a good rp.. I'll get to that, don't worry. (hopefully in the next update)

Feedback? Give me some suggestions, what are your ideas.. Want a better opening storyline? Want a unicorn that can grant instant access to HBO GO?

Qualities
White-Common - As basic as an item gets.
Light blue-Refined - A step above common, pretty basic (+1 additional stat)
Dark blue-Unique - Good for new players until better gear is found (+2 additional stats)
Bright red-Elite - High stats, good for long term handling. (+4 additional stats)
Dark Red-Super - Rare gear quality that has obtained spell attributes giving it physical effects (glowing etc.) (+6 additional stats)

Gear Leveling
Say you find a sword that's elite level 5, and you are level 24, holding onto a unique level 20 sword. The unique's stats will be better unless there was a way to raise the level of that level 5. This is where this comes into play.
Sacrifice Leveling will add an additional 5 levels to any gear Elite and under for 1 level of your character. Gear quality Super and above will require 2 levels at the cost of 5 per item.

Composing gear
Aside from the quality and level you will be given the chance to + your gear, to give it's already existing stats a boost. This is tricky and won't really have much effect on early game due to the challenge of finding the material.

If your gear is not already +1 when you found it, this will be more tedious than most. In order to +1 your gear you need to find 2 more like items that are +1 to fuse with it. If your gear is already +1, and you fuse it with 2 +1 items, you will have a +2. (Same process for +2 except you'll need to make 2 +2's) So on and so forth.

Weapons will always be a level multiple of 5
Armors will be a multiple of 6
accessories will be a multiple of 12

Age: 24
Bio: Having just moved to a new city and drowning in student loan debts, Louise wasn't too thrilled by the real world. She had no friends, no job, and very few belongings. She had a bed, a compter, a desk, a chair, a few mementos of home, and an internet connection. Being anti-social and not very good at making friends, she turned to the one hobby she had that she felt safe with; video games. She immersed herself in various online fantasies, until she heard of Tabula Rasa. She was hesitant at first, having heard first hand accounts of the pain receptors of New Eden, but the reassurances that the issues had been resolved as well as the promise of a paycheck were more than she could pass up.
Appearance: She is short and a bit chubby with a slight dusting of freckles. The pink dye in her wavy hair that falls past her shoulderblades has faded somewhat and she can't really be bothered to redo it. She doesn't own any makeup and very few accessories. She usually wears sweat pants, sweaters and slippers, unless she has to leave the house, then she might put on some proper jeans and shoes. She wears black catseye glasses.

Race: Halfling
Blood Trait: Sneaky Wee One. The halfling's small stature is well suited to stealth and trickery. Naturally wily, they move quickly and are surprisingly spry for their size. They gain bonuses to stealth and are adept at finding places to hide, even being able to take cover behind larger creatures.
Bio: Though similarly anti-social, when behind the vale of anonymity she is more outgoing. She is sarcastic and a bit rude, but still enjoys companionship, with online camaraderie being some of the only kind she can deal with.

Bio:
Between caring for his sick mother, paying the bills, and studying for college, Marcus' life was a busy whirlpool of hard work. He never held the time nor the interest to be involved in things like Haven. At least, until he heard about the promise of payment. With a constantly rising debt and a need for relaxation time, Marcus invests in the game and enters with no background knowledge and a mindset of "How Hard Can This Be?".

» Biography: "Haven: Tabula Rasa... Sounds cool, I guess."

A young woman spoke to herself quietly as she scratched at her head, her gum smacking in her mouth impatiently as her dark almond eyes panned the screen reading of the newest update from the beloved EVIX Global.

Andrea was a small town Midwestern girl, with an urge for a little bit more out of life. After completing a mediocre fine arts degree at her local community college, she came out with no job and not many opportunities in the blue collar town. Living with her middle class parents had it's benefits of course; free meals, free roof over her head, and free access to all the games the world had to offer.

"In game currency is now directly linked to your credit chip and the conversion rate will double your daily salary. Retire early" The website quoted, and Andrea was floored. "I totally need to get into this!" she claimed, diving in without much hesitation.

» Current Biography: In game Andrea doesn't think she is much different than her own persona. She doesn't quite get why anyone would have to hide themselves. Despite her thoughts she tends to be a bit more engaged and determined in game then in her own life choices. She chose a healing type thinking that'd be quite useful to parties, and parties meant making new friends. Something Andrea desperately wanted.

Bio: He works in a factory, keeping the equipment running. Or, at least he did until the factory fired him because he was speaking out against some of its parent company's actions. With no other companies willing to hire him, as the parent company basically ran the entire city, he decided to try and earn a living in VR, though he doubted he could actually earn any real money in there.

Race: Sun Elf
Blood trait: Sungod's Mage Blessing: (some Sun Elfs have this trait, others have a Warrior Blessing) In the day time, spells are 20% more powerful. In direct sunlight, recover Mana 50% faster (potions restore 50% more as well).
Bio: He works as a crafter and priest of the Sun, with power based on the Sun's power. Unfortunately the shear number of crafters means that there's never enough raw materials to just craft and earn money.

History: 300 years ago a group of Elves fled their war torn nation, making their way across the desert (I didn't see one on the map). When their supplies began to run out half way across, they were contacted by the Sun. It offered to save them and teach them to survive in its land if they would serve it. Those that agreed were lead to a cave which had a pool of water in it. There they made a Covenant with the Sun. As long as they or their descendants served it, the Sun would let them use its strength.
They built a city there and, when the war ended and trade routes started moving through the area, the city became a major trade hub. They could now easily leave for other cities, and others could come there.

Age: 28

Bio: Scrawny and underdeveloped, Lexi has often been mistaken for a high schooler, something that tends to get in her way whenever she attempts to find a serious job. Currently working as a convenience store clerk in a dingy part of town, Lexi hates her life and would rather just be anyone other than herself, finding nothing redeeming in her mediocre intelligence and less than mediocre looks. She attempts to circumvent her insecurities by acting haughty and aloof, but in reality she has no friends outside her older brother, who hangs out with her sparingly simply because he's busy working enough for the both of them.

Parents long gone from the picture, Lexi grew up with the shame of knowing that her brother had to drop out of college to work full time in order to support her after their parents died, and, even though she had graduated with a degree in journalism, she still found no place that would take her literary pieces or hire her for column writing. Haven: Tabula Rasa became the only hope she could cling onto, and, if nothing else, Lexi had a vise-like grip.

Race: Wraith

Blood Trait:

Despair Drain -- Wraiths are accompanied by a natural aura of fear and panic that need specific resistance buffs, tonics, or character-specific dispels to overcome. Active dispels need to be recast every 30 seconds as the aura is an area passive. The more enemies affected by the aura within 30 meters of the wraith, the more effective the wraith's spells are and the more durable its body becomes as it feasts on the despair of its prey. Every enemy affected adds 5% of the base value to the duration of all CC spells, 5% of the base value to the damage of all DoT spells, and 5% of peacockAushuah007's base health value to her current health bar. Regular melee attacks/default basic attacks are not buffed by the aura's Despair Drain.

Bio: Lexi often plays with PUGs in the equalized 20v20 PvP arenas of the game (gaining a 100% increase to all relevant values, much to her glee), racking in victories whenever she has a good team to support her CC spells and debuffs and taking losses to the face whenever her team abandons her in the midst of panic. Since Lexi is almost exclusively a crowd-control and damage-over-time stacking specialist, she relies heavily on team support. With a good group, peacockAushuah007 is nigh unstoppable. In a bad group, her lack of burst DPS is a crippling problem as opponents focus her down quickly. While tempted to try the larger arenas, Lexi is aware her passive makes her a prime target to tear down before she even gets a chance to set up.
