I take amusement in The Red being called both a boy, despite being older, and accused of not knowing what it is like to be on the path of evasion from men and monsters alike.

@boomlover If people are getting bored, I'll end it. I have a plan for the ending, of which I'm trying to move forward to. With the addition of each character and how long between posts, it's taking a bit longer than I thought. Which I don't necessarily have a problem with, but if others do then we can address that.

You have a hell of a lot of spells, are you sure you're going to use all of them? I mean it doesn't matter if you don't (might as well have them just in case), but be really careful on what spells you use on players. For example if I were DM I would ban the use of charm spells on players, and to an extent alter self and stuff unless they are alright with it (ask them in the IC)

Also you keep 2 war dogs in your Robe? And is that a canoe in your pocket, or are you just happy to see us?

Overall I'm fairly impressed with your character, maybe a little more backstory would be nice (how did he get training as a rogue, a wizard and a warrior?)

Sorry for my absence. I do like your character@RokkuHoshi, however, there are a few things -

Firstly, if he was built for speed and not for strength, he wouldn't have an arsenal to supply the whole team. Especially not one that would include a long sword. He is way way too powerful. So you're going to have to pick, which do you want more.

As for the spells, there are quite a few I could do without, see @The Fated Fallen's comments.

I don't like the charm spell. And change self explains that he can change the little things, making yourself a while foot taller or shorter is not little. I'm 5'2", if I were to make myself a foot taller, I'd be an extremely tall woman. If I were to make myself shorter, I'd be a certifiable dwarf.

In short, I think he is way way way too powerful, especially for someone of his stature. I can't allow him as is, to join us.

Changed a few things. Any other spells need to be removed? Them, I'm not as worried about.

As for the rest of it, he has a build that suggests speed more than strength but the D&D character I am basing this guy off of is a fighter/mage/thief. He has been trained with all the weapons he has but is not a master with any. He is still young and still learning. Not to mention, some of those weapons he doesn't use often. Plus, Regina has more.

As for the Robe of Useful Items, I don't know how the items are turned into patches and put on the robe but once the patches are pulled off, they become the item pictured on them and are unable to go back on the robe. It states there are some places on huge robe where some patches have already been torn off, meaning those items have already been used.

I also forgot about the tapestry's magic. It works the same as a bag of holding with a twist. Firstly, it has to be hanging on a flat surface, such as a wall, then can only be used by the one who says the pass code.

@RokkuHoshi I still think he is too op. I understand he is a dnd build, playing nwn, I had a paly/sorc- I'm not saying that it's not possible, and you've done a great job of justifying everything in his build, concept wise. Which I highly respect - but I'm going to tell you what I've told everyone else- this is not dnd, I personally am not into power builds. This is an original world, with that I've pulled some things from dnd and forgotten realms, as that is my comfort zone. I like the character, and I can appreciate the effort you put into him. But I am still extremely weary of the over poweredness of him.

Half those spells you might not have to use- I'm not asking for a list of things he can do, most people don't have the dnd knowledge that you lot do. What I am asking for is a few relevant details of your battle strengths and skills. I don't quite care if RegIna has more spells than this character, I saw a balance there that I'm not seeing here.

Either way, I'd be much more comfortable if the new character was more one over another (speedster or strength). If you make him more of a fighter then we can leave all the long swords (katakana included), and if more of a speedster, the long and cumbersome weapons just don't make sense. Especially given his age. He needs to be able to move about freely, and carrying so much that he could supply the whole team- it doesn't work for me. As for his spells, everyone here will tell you, I am a fan of simple. If you choose to go in the direction of mage, I want you to sort out the most relevant, the most necessary spells that he would need. I didn't ask this for Regina, mostly because, as I said, I found a balance there. I may have over looked a few things. Perhaps by accident, but as she's been portayed so far, I haven't seen any issues.

I'm just looking for balance and a sense of realism. That's pretty much the most important thing when I consider a character.
