​Red Crucible​

With the founding of Yeodrothan, trained Blood Magi went forth throughout the Dragon Spine seeking other allies beyond Vrent. They held among their number a brotherhood of alchemists and soon came to the city of Ostvinberg then stayed within that city while seeking to make trading contracts. There they began working closely with several skilled Velfrites gunsmith masters. The disciplines complimented each others greatly and thus manufacturing, wizardry and alchemy began to combine to create even more powerful magics. The Order of the Red Crucible is responsible for the refinement and modern methods of potion creation and alchemical item creation.

The Order of the Red Crucible is now the youngest surviving arcane order in all of the Dragon Spine. They are the order that, even after the empires fall, brought about such advances as the arcane cannon. The Order is governed by an elite group of wizards known as the Inner Circle who continue to study various old works to this day. Their headquarters is located in the city of Ostvinberg.

Currently the Order is the largest commercial manufacturer of blasting powder and the largest private manufacturer of alchemical reagents, salves, enchanted cannon casts, industrial magic and runic etching plates for enchanted items. They are responsible for training the finest alchemists in the Dragon Spine and produce military-grade blasting powder under contract for various City States. Their occupation makes the two cities of Yeodrothan and Ostvinberg very prosperous states.
