Name: Dwynwen (Dwyn) Vaughan

Age: 19

Occupation: None, recently graduated from school and went on extended camping trip to US as a "gap year"

Nationality: Pasty white Welsh girl

Appearance: 5'5" and weighs 115 pounds. Imagine the lipstick lesbian but with sensible clothing considering the purpose of her trip

Place of Residence: Cardiff, Wales but outskirts of Boulder, Colorado at the beginning of this story

Strengths: Lots of wilderness experience and especially cooking down wild plants into bad-tasting but edible soups and teas, self-confident, knows how to flirt with both men and women to get what she wants

Weaknesses: Lack of combat experience, lack of connections with other people in the US

Belongings: 60 liter hiking backpack with a change of clothes and also heavy winter coat. A large and a small cast iron pot for cooking as well as a saucepan and assortment of cooking knives. A book on the wild plants of Rocky Mountain National Park. Weapons include pepper spray and pocket knife.

Personality: To other people it can appear that she vacillates between introverted and extroverted, but this is mostly a manifestation of her own insecurities regarding interactions with other people as a solo female traveler. Because of this she feels she has to make snap judgments about new people and whether they are willing to treat a young female European lesbian well or not, irrespective of the accuracy of these judgments. She has a tendency to think that only Dwyn knows what's best for Dwyn.

Yeah I saw that you had changed locations as I read other people's posts. I already did chapter 1, but it doesn't particularly matter if she starts in the Rockies or Appalachians, so I'll change the locations and hopefully meet up with everyone really soon!
