Fuck.

This was honestly, easily, one of the best RP's I've been in, and I'm really sorry that I apparently lost my interest as well... Really, this was well-executed in every single way. I had no idea what would happen next, GM wise, but all of the 'NPCs' were very human like. I really don't think you did anything wrong at all, Ariamis, not at all. You knew what the hell you were doing and you just did it.

Really, I think I won't forget this for a very long while, and I hope I won't. As I said, this really is some of the most fun I've had in an RP, I can only think of one, maybe two others that were on this level, and I've been doing this for a few years, y'know?

To answer your question, I honestly don't know why I lost interest myself even... Maybe just the domino or 'herd' effect. Sorry...

My only issue is that school started up and began to drain my soul again. I just can't write much anymore...

I agree with LHG, as far as the appeal of the RP.

...really...my inactivity didn't help things here. Didn't want to say anything but I was trying to juggle stuff going on offline to the point where I even forgot about the RP here.

Ariamis. Let me personally apologize for my lack of performance here since I'm sure it was one of the reasons this RP stopped. There was nothing wrong with the RP in my honest opinion. It was an excellent idea. One that I was proud to be apart of.

I'm not exactly active around the Guild due to this but I try to at least join one RP since I can make time for a least one but after this...not sure anymore. Again, I apologize.

I'm glad to hear you guys liked participating in this, and didn't find any notable faults (I'm open to criticism, in case you were wondering). Looking back, I may have allowed too many characters in the first place, since when a certain number of the core group disappeared the others quickly followed. On the other hand, maybe it was the large number of people that allowed this to survive for as long as it did.

Still, I enjoyed writing this RP, and I may actually start a new one in the future. I have some ideas, for example a storyline I successfully ran on another site about a fantasy quest to overthrow the reigning demon/demigod.

Well, I was hoping for the situation we are in now to only be a temporary thing, but it is pretty clear what has come to happen; the RP died. I'm not going to ask why, since it was clearly because of a lack of interest, so instead I'm going to ask: what would you have liked to see in the RP's content for it to have kept your interest?


In the back of my mind, I probably lost interest after a certain amount of time. NOT because of the RP though, it was unintentional.
Yet, for some reason, It felt a bit slow, also the time-skip, thats when I lost interest, we should've went down the path of that maybe they were still in heavy training, yet they were forced to fight the Cruxi.

Anyways guys, i've been real busy with school, but school ends for this year soon, so ill be extra free.
Im trying to move into RP as my off - time hobby, instead of sticking my head to the screen to watch sappy dramas all night long.

The main reason, I think I stopped is I got too excited at the start, and went in guns blazing, and should've held back and let it out later.

I plan on joining another RP of Ariamis,

I would've liked there to be no time skip at all! I believe it would've been a lot more interesting if they had to rely on instincts instead of training and that there experience came from the heat of battle, that they were chucked into without any warning D:

It was the best Mecha RP that Ive seen on here, you created something special and I really enjoyed my character that I made for this.

Maybe you could make a spiritual successor? maybe not even necessarily with mechs, but with your RP style would be appreciated by a lot of people.

Well, thanks. I actually thought I did a pretty poor job with this in regards to the pacing and moderation, not to to mention all the trouble the free-for-all brought, but I'm flattered you think of my writing so highly.

I might actually bring this back now that some time has passed. Maybe try to edit some parts of it that didn't work out so well.

But I do know what title it would have: Souls of Steel. And yes, I'm aware of the HG/SS reference.

I didn't even notice this was bumped...then again, I hardly look at my subscriptions anymore...
