Janos had moved to the shuttle bay with the rest of the group and listened to Yamesh's explanation about all the tech things with notable interest. He kept the visor of his helmet down - mostly to hide the little smirk of his as the Santerian mentioned the chance of the laser rifle exploding. The explosives expert managed to keep any amusement away from his tone as he spoke. "Good to know I'm not the only one who's equipped with a prototype. I just hope this damn suit holds together as planned..." He briefly opened the visor and still kept mostly straight faced. "So, no touching anything that goes over our feeble human mind's capacity for comprehension - even if the thing blinks."

Akame

The commander Akame and Stellan moved over towards the shuttle bay again once everything that was happening was explained to them. Akame happily danced around the hallways while murmuring a song. She had a big smile on her face as she hopped around. The weight seemed to be of no restrictiong from her jumping as it seemed. Akame had trained quite a bit in her life so it was not that weird for her being ablr to carry all that. She hasn't been in the army for nothing after all. The bunch arrived joining the rest of the group that had already arrived.

She kindly smiled at all of them and stood still looking around while waiting for the command to leave for the exploration party. Akame was wearing a heavy armour that had a mild grey color and was bigger then her own body. She could easily move around in the armour so it had no restrictions. The left lower arm of the suit was equiped with multiple tools for repairing and demolishing so that they could easily demolish a door or a bomb if that was needed. Her shoes had a magnetic layer to them so she wouldn't just float off everything that she stands on. The helmet was quite wide and only had glass on the front of it. She could drop a metal visor down so the glass wouldn't break during fire fights and it gave a full camera vision of the area in front of her so she still was able to see. The left hand of the armour was also magnetized but a lot stronger than the ones in her feet. It could pick up metal from 10 meters away instead of just two.

The alien began explaining about his newest invention, it seemed quite handy and easy to install. Akame put it in the inside of her helmet and placed it onto her head. Without the visor it all seemed pretty normal and the only thong really added whas the team overview but with visor she could change between visions of the camera and easily too. The communication channel also kicked in, she could clearly hear the alien man talking and it sounded pretty good too just like he was right in front of her. Akame simutamiously winked and poked out her toungh to the side while making a peace sign side from the side of her head in front of her still open eye "Okay! Thanks Yamesh!" She particularly yelled out over the communication channel and walked over to the entrance of the drop pod "Yay! Let's go!" She jumped up with her fist launched into the sky while she stood in front of the door waiting for it to open so they could go.

"Foul Play?" Cayne openly guessed in direct regards to Cadence’s inquiry.

It was unlikely that anyone in the Republic's hierarchy or the council had any reason to sabotage the mission or jeopardize the S.E.U. Lightyear or her crew. Granted, the new local alliance was basically a commonwealth of outside explorers and refugees from the ever present war that has engulfed the quadrant. Dissent was of course a common factor that many expressed due to the conflicts and the hardships that followed but there was little outcry put against the Ostara Republic operations; not counting however the alien governments that stood against the Republic.

Soon enough, Maxwel and Yamesh had arrived to the shuttle bay as well. The pilot clearly appeared troubled but did not voice his concerns and remained silent as he checked his gear. Cayne could only surmise that Maxwel may still be thinking about the current events and the voice both of them had heard. Admittedly, the circumstances were rather unnerving to say the least, especially when they were going to board a horror-set of a ship and prevent it from colliding with the S.E.U. Lightyear before their short time frame runs out.

Yamesh however seemed much more lively if not a tad cranky. The Santerian scientist obviously had a noticeable case of a superiority complex over the lesser technologically adept species but Cayne tried not to pry or dissect that fact any further than he needed to. Yamesh openly explained the enhancements made to the teams helmet's and heads up display, describing the new sensor and visor functions, especially some sort of visual feed tracker that anyone could tap into within the squad's interconnected network and see what the other sees. Cayne of course had to begrudgingly agree with the Santerian's comment that Pathfinder lacked the adaptable software since the drone's similar function was only between it and it's human operator. Upon catching the ship underhandedly tossed by Yamesh that would grant the recon drone more adaptive perk, Cayne raised the chip into the air so Pathfinder could install it.

[Click, click. Dweep, Beep]

"I wouldn't think about it too much..." Cayne sighed as Pathfinder took and installed the new software.

Yamesh then showcased another device that allowed the Santerian to remotely access any terminal upon the its initial connection. It seemed handy going by the device's design and conceptual purpose but he couldn't help but think the Santerian simply didn't trust any of them to meddle around with any particular piece of tech. The sentiment couldn't be more true when Yamesh revealed a prototype laser rifle as his personal armament. The weapon as described appeared very reliable and self-sufficient...Until he mentioned the possibility of the rifle prematurely detonating. Suddenly Cayne felt confident that Yamesh was the one handling the unstable weapon as he took and received one of the wireless hacking devices, including it with his other tools and gadgets.

"With all due respect Commander, hell yes I can." Maxwel replies with a huge grin, which he quickly rids himself of."Granted that the whole entire thing is not, you know, busted beyond comrehension. If it's not, then I'd fly it to the moon itself." He stops there and lifts a brow."Come to think of it, that's not an achievement nowadays is it." He shakes his head and gets into their transporter."Well, I'll just check that this thing can get us that far. Just hop in whenever, it's not like we're on a timer. Oh wait." he disappears within the dropship swiftly and begins his check.

Stellan followed Akame and Cadence off the bridge and through the corridors towards the shuttle bay, his boots echoed off the floor much louder than his two companions. He hoped that they wouldn't need to be stealthy on this mission as stealth was not one of his strong points, with his size it was nearly impossible to move without making some form of sound. He followed them into the shuttle bay and joined the others grouped near the small craft that would ferry them over to their destination.

He listened as Yamesh explained the modifications to their equipment and took one that he, like Akame, added to his helmet. The changes took effect immediately and he winced at the very clear, very loud sound of Akame's voice in his ear.

"Well that sure works." He said in a more normal tone. "Useful to have, thank you Yamesh."

He strode over to stand beside Akame. "Ready when you are Ma'am."

One by one the others arrived, prepared with either information or equipment. Each with exciting, or easy-going entra-

"Yay! Let's go!"

Mirrah's head flinched when Akane yelled into the communication channel. It was as if that yell, for one reason or another was louder than a gunshot. She shook her head to clear out sound.

So this is the Commander's team?

They were certainly not the type of people Mirrah was used to seeing. Many of them, if not all, were somehow simultaneously taking this both seriously, and without much worry. This was strange to her, as this situation was an anomaly. Something that had just appeared out of nowhere. It could be nothing at all, or it could be destruction looming in the distance. How could they all be so calm?...Was this what it meant to be an experienced soldier? Those who had earned their reputations in their fields, and fought and survived many battles would learn how to face these situations without much worry?

Maybe they were just hiding it? Mirrah was, to an extent. Her body felt like it was trembling with anticipation and fear of what may come to pass, but it physically showed no such thing. Her mind was filled with question and possibilities that plague her with doubt and worry, but it showed not in her movement, nor on her face. She was scared. She was the..."greenhorn"-as the the human's say- of this group. She learned how to fight, but this was an actual operation. Something that would always harbor a chance of her death, and the death of those who join in. But, if they seemed ready for this, so too shall Mirrah.

She stepped next to Akane, joining the human woman in waiting for the door to open. Wanting to calm herself a bit, Mirrah muttered some thoughts under her breath. Maybe loud enough to be heard, but many hadn't taken notice of the Seer yet, so she felt it okay to do so.

"Bringing prototypes into battle is a risky choice. Untested, unfinished, or otherwise unsafe equipment that still need to be worked on may become more of a hindrance than an advantage. Even the M6G Magnum had to be worked on before it could shoot up to 50 meters without damaging the gun, or breaking the user's arm with recoil. Especially with the type of ammunition it uses...Hm. I seem to have forgotten that the communication channel was still open. Apologies."

(For timely reasons I will just say that everyone got on the dropship and finally got into the Drifter.)

Time Remaing: 3:00:00

While Yamesh was explaining the tech that he proposed to the team, Echo was circling the table that had most of his creations. She ran her hand along the different chips belonging to the helmet upgrades and seemed highly impressed with what Yamesh was able to accomplish. She started nodding her head in acceptance.

"I am impressed, Dyar. This will help. Alright, lets go." She said.

She entered the dropship and stood next to a handle that she can hold onto while the ship took off. The servicemen started waving what appeared to be glowing sticks and the large shuttle door opened revealing a very sightful scenery of the Morelian galaxy. She could see outside the window of the drop ship getting closer to the Drifter. Remembering Caynes words after she insighted her thoughts about this mystery she started thinking deeply about what had happened and she was truly ready to take the mantle as commander once more.

Looking over at Maxwell she said...

"Well get ready in case you have to get to fly that thing." She said.

Moments later the doors that led into the ships docking bay opened and their dropship entered. Now they were a good distance from the lightyear and only had three hours to protect the ship.

Inside the drifter was quiet, dark and eerie. The place was barely lit by white and green lights and was impossible to see any backgrounds with how huge and extensive the ship was. Their footsteps will echo with each step so they must go quietly. It looked abandoned as if no one set foot inside for years but Cadence wasn't going to underestimate the unknown. With Yamesh's upgrades the helmet made it easier to see through the darkness. Everything turned green through her visor like night vision and she could see the background. The architecture seemed different than she thought; it looked alien but the style was very symmetrical. She turned to Cayne.

"Zarubin can you go up ahead and give us anything you see. We dont know what to expect here and we are looking for some sort of power source. Stellan and Akame stick very close by in case of ambushes. Max stick close by me. Dyar, Jonas get ready for anything. Lets move out." She said quietly and signaled for the rest to come.

"Copy that, boss." Cayne replied as he stepped into the derelict shuttle bay with Pathfinder close behind. With his first step onto the abandoned vessel, he quickly came to the realization that there was no sense of weightlessness and his boots were not automatically magnetizing, "Huh...Artificial gravity is still online..."

With each step he took, he could almost hear the hard metal surface creak and echo through his body suit. It was clear this ship was rotting away due to absolutely no maintenance either by a mortal crewman or an automated service droid. However, there was still plenty of reserve power given the dim and flickering lights. Just what had happened here? Given a fly by from the outside, the vessel seemed clearly dated but showed no signs of external damage. Cayne surmised a system failure may have been the result of its abandonment; unfortunately there was little to go off of.

Scanning the area, it appeared the shuttle bay was roughly fifty meters wide, divided into detailed sectors as if the facility supported a compliment of small spacecraft. Looking up, Cayne could further identify the maintenance catwalks above comprised of retracted mechanical arms and cranes that appeared responsible in servicing the craft. Interestingly however, the bay was void of any other ships not counting the dropship they arrived in; Cayne pondered further what that could have meant.

"Doesn't look like life support is active..." he commented, noting the extremely poor environmental survey on his HUD as he pushed ahead through the minor haze of dust particles, utilizing the newly enhanced sensors on his helmet to light up the shadowed sections in of the facility in his visual feed so he and everyone could navigate forward confidently, "...What ship has artificial gravity mostly functional and not life support?"

While scouting and having PathFinder map out the shuttle bay further, Cayne eventually reached a raised platform at the other side of the area, supported by structural beams and a rising flight of wide steps. Having his sensors make sense of the structure, he could confirm an open spaced control center overlooking the hanger was built in with the platform. From where he was standing, he could see a strong static light source emanating from the view ports of the tower.

"Think I got an active device up there. Moving in to investigate..."

Minding the amount of weight placed on each footstep, he walked upwards cautiously with his rifle trained ahead, scope flipped-down and red-dot sights readied given the range before him. Making up to the floor of the platform, Cayne could see the light source had been originating from a still live terminal, it's screen was fluctuating but its UI appeared to be mostly intact. At this point, he really began to think if the ship's entire system had really gone hay-wired since some of the functions that were active defied operational protocol. Granted, he was no ship expert himself and should obviously leave that debate to Maxwel but the building evidence was becoming more clear.

"This computer seems partially functional..." Cayne said aloud as he reached out to attempt to manipulate it but remembered what the Santerian had advised before hand. He then pulled out the W.H.D. and readied it, "Yamash, think this is something you can look at?"

While waiting for a reply, Cayne was then advised by an attention grabbing ping by Pathfinder. He turned to face his drone and came upon a small corridor with a slightly opened automated slide door at the very end, a few lit nodes on the door hinted the seal release was at least receiving power. Pathfinder had lit up the find with it's search lights and from what Cayne could see, the narrow gap vaguely detailed a larger hallway on the other side.

"I think I found our way further into the ship but the doors seemed stuck in place. Looks like we could pry them open though this door is still getting power however." he reported.

Yamesh steps out of the transport with K-1LL in his wake. He switches his visor to low-light and his vision is engulfed in a green hue. He mutters to himself as he looks at the architecture of the ship. "Fascinating. I've been on every species their ships, but this is all new to me. Could we have discovered a thus far unknown species?" He walks up to the walls and scrapes some off with a small knife. He catches the dust on his wrist and opens his console. He switches on his comm so that the entire team can hear his findings. "Internal structure seems to be made out of normal Titanium Alloy. Nothing odd there. Hm... Traces of organic material though. They are not part of the alloy itself. More like... Founder their own way in. Bacteria perhaps? Would explain missing crew, but would not explain lack of bodies."

He closes his console and orders K-1LL to fly up to the catwalk and switches on his multi-vision, replacing his vision with that of his droid. The droid flies up to the catwalk, looks around for something out of the ordinary, but finds nothing and flies down again. "Hm. Disappointing.", he says as he switches back to his own vision. "Too little evidence to come to a conclusion. Commander. Permission to move further ahead?"

As he awaits the commanders answer he receives a transmission of Cayne. The Santerian switches to Cayne's vision and sees a flickering console. "Seems like control panel. Probably doesn't contain any information. Might get power restored or doors open from it though." He pushes the button on his wrist and his console pops up again. Yamesh pushes several buttons and sees the W.H.D.s signal. He activates the link and lines of code come streaming through. "Curious. Unknown coding pattern. Thought I knew it all. It will take some longer then normal. Probably still faster then humans." His hands almost glide over his console as he tries to break the code, gaining access to the console.

Empty...this place was empty, save for the machinery and flickering lights and whatnot. In a few ways, this ship seemed similar to the one they had just been on, albeit seemingly a bit less advanced. The shadows were dark, but they gave Mirrah a feeling that something was waiting for them further in. Such an atmosphere in any place would give her a bad feeling.

Cayne had proceeded to follow the orders he was given, and went on ahead. Mirrah followed nearby, if only to check out the ship herself. The state of things and the lack other ships was concerning, as it seemed to be more of an omen. She assumed that the crew and passengers had left this for one reason or another, and given the state it was when they had viewed it from a distance, it was understandable. However, because of that same sight, another possibility arose. Of course, for now, Mirrah had to brush it off as a mere thought.

Cayne had found a semi-functional console that looked to have control over this ship's power. He had let Yarnesh work on it, and he had said that it may allow them access to the vessel's doors and lights. He said that he would work on gaining access to its functions, but Mirrah did not have a good feeling about it.

Is this wise?, thought Mirrah. This place seemed unnatural, even to them. If there is something on this ship, would it learn of our presence the moment the console works?

As much as Mirrah wanted to voice her thoughts this time. She had to admit that this was her first actual experience in a mission like this. Watching those who were more experienced in this was a must. She had to leave them to do what they were doing, despite whatever concern she had.

Still, she placed her hands on two separate weapons. One on one of her pistols, and the other on one of her blades.

Max was more or less moving behind the bigger guys, this meaning both of the tanks. However he had to fight the urge to just break off from the rest of the party and explore the whole ship from top to bottom. Some small voice in the back of his head however claimed that it would be a really bad idea. Besides, he was promised that he'd get to fly this thing, and if they found the cockpit sometime soon, it would be better for him to stick aroud. That and he really did not want to end up host for an alien life form, that would really ruin his so far good enough day.

And then their walk comes to a halt. Locked door.

"Oh great.." He grumbles under his breath. New ship to explore, unknown to everyone, and what will be the first thing that stops their advance? A door. A damn door. He waits somewhat patiently as Yamesh works on the console but soon enough grows impatient."Has anyone tried to kick the thing? No?..Well..It..could work..or something. Just nevermind me." He moves and leans to wall and flips his revolver out and starts to spin it on his finger. He glances at the console. Well..it could work. Technically. With luck.

Janos examined their surroundings with some degree of fascination. Every once and a while he took a quick glance around to make sure the whole group was still present - in his opinion staying together was the best plan. "You folks think this thing would make for nice fireworks? b'cause I sure do." He had never blown up an alien vessel before and since this particular one seemed deserted... "If we could find whatever powers this damn thing up and overload it..." He shook his head slightly and shrugged his shoulders "Though if I ain't mistaken this is some tech none of us have really seen before..." For a moment the explosives expert turns his attention to Max "Could you please stop waving that thing around?"

Akame

The crew all equiped themselves with the latest technologies of Yamesh and all entered the drop ship on their way towards the drifting vessel. The large shuttle doors opened and the dropship shot off towards the unknown ship. Akame was dazzled by the galaxy surrounding them and letted sound a few very cheerfull sounds from her human mouth "Oooohhhh, wooooooww, aaaaahhhh." This went on for quite some time while she looked out of multiple windows of the ship. It was always fun to look at rhe many stars that filled the sky.

The dropship arrived neatly and well and docked onto the big drifter. They all left the dropship and entered the docking bay. At first sight the ship looked old and rusty from the inside and seemed to be abandoned for many years now. The dust particals circled the girl in mid air and floated along the lines of her body in a slow hypnosing flow. The windows to the outside displayed the galaxy and illuminated the room very lightly with the light of the closest next star. Akame circled her eyes over the walls and ceilings of the big room in the ship but couldn't see much further than her own hands. She turned on night vision making her vision much clearer and sharper and glanced around the room a little.

Awfully quite for such a big ship. Her steps echoed through the room as the advanced further. There was a big lack of presence but also a huge lack of corpses. If the ship was so big there was sure to be a body somewhere nearby or at least smell or anything that was comming from the corpse. Akame unsheated her pistol and kept it close to the front of her body so she could shoot any time if something would pop out. Bandits or any kind of human survivor.

Akame followed the rest of the group and followed the commands of Candace. She stayed close to the others and held a good eye on her surroundings. The crew gave in multiple report's of what was still functional and what not. Akame nodded a few times thinking in her own heaf what a good solution may be and continued on while the scouts scanned the place. No life support but there is artificial gravity. Light signs of electricity but only less than standard so most likely only control currents to send pulses to open the doors. Most likely the doors won't open unless a bigger electrical current is send to the door mechanisms itself. That would be the only logic thing but knowing this wasn't exactly looking like something that humans made, it might even run on fairy power if that's the case.

Yamesh frantically started working on the console to whatever it may do "Yamesh. Is the ship runned by electric power? Or something that the other races use?" She waited a moment for reply and walked along side the walls of the ship and slided her hand along it while walking to catch the dust on her hand and make a trail with her fingers while she did so "If it's out of power we might need to cut it or blow it in the worst case. Cutting will however take longer. Still the best case would be to supply it with our own energy and open it for ourselfs. I doubt that will rise any suspicion to anyone still on the ship and it won't make any noise." She overlooked the door and tried to see if there was any way to manually open it.

"Commander. Once we're through this might it be an idea to split up. If we don't find the thing that is stopping our ship it might be an idea to let Yamesh see if the reactor and the engines are still working. Max and his group can than try to find out what is blocking our ship and happened to the crew, getting ready to fly is their secondary objective if it is needed of course." Akame shook her head to the once around her that the door wasn't gonna open and walked back a bit to explore some more of their close by suroundings "Can we maybe find heat sources by making the range of our vision bigger? I'm not an expert on this but it might give us some way of knowing if there is still someone alive on the ship."

Yamesh keeps typing away on his holographic console. All the remarks of his team mates he simply answers with a grunt, until Akame actually asks a valid question. He scratches his chin and starts a diagnostics run. "Good question Akame. Hard to tell from simple console. Running diagnostics now. Hopefully that will provide you with an answer. While that is running, I got the power back! At least... on this deck. I suggest turning your night visions off if you do not want to be blinded." He turns his own vision off and waits a couple of seconds before pushing the activation button.

All the lights in the hangar flash on for a second or so before exploding with a soft 'pfff'. The door that was forming an obstacle for the team was open at least, but now they were drenched in total darkness. Not even the emergency lighting or warning signs were on anymore. "Hm... Might have made a miscalculation. Probably use different capacitors. Apologies. I shall do better next time. I... suggest turning night-vision on again." He turns his vision back on and looks at the diagnostic scan. "Hm... Do have an answer for Akame's question. Sort of at least. Like I said: Hard to tell from simple console. This ship runs on something else then the other races their ships. So no Nuclear fuel, no anti-matter, nothing that we would recognize. Well, at least what my tool doesn't recognize. Anyway, we can proceed." He shuts down his console and walks up to the group waiting at the door. "Shall we?" He draws his laser rifle from his back and holds it at the ready.

Cayne remained silent while Yamesh continued about interacting with the partially powered terminal. During the wait, he spent most of the time peering through the narrow gap between the slide doors, using a utility lamp on his helmet to light up the hallway on the other end. For the most part, the passage was enveloped in darkness with only brief segments of the overhead lights and emergency floor laps ever sparking, further hinting at a likely anomalous power-grid disruption matched with a faulty erratic ship-wide system.

Eventually his Santerian squadmate was successful in providing the door enough power to fully unlock with each thick metallic slide folding into the walls, dust falling away as a result. The deck lights unfortunately did not prove as reliable as they were quick to burn out once Yamesh attempted to re-activate them. "Figures." Cayne sighed before flipping the scope of his sniper rifle back into position with a securing click before stepping into the hallway. "Taking point."

Stepping into the hallway, Cayne and Pathfinder lit up the darkness as they pushed forwarding, keeping their night vision cams networked with the entire team so they too could see what was ahead of them. Their approach was slow and cautious, staying as quite as they could manage while passing by several locked doors and compartments with small terminals unlit next to them. Upon reaching a curve in the corridor, the design and architecture shifted to an enclosed catwalk, transparent materials on both sides of the passage revealed some sort of cargo bay or lab below them. Cayne identified several lined of crates and containers but also an array of dormant or glitching machinery. Though only going by what they were able to see and confirm, Cayne began to ponder upon the vessel's original purpose of designation.

"Looks like some sort of processing facility down there." He commended over the radio while continuing to scout forward, his rifle steadily pointing down the catwalk pathway, "Hmm...No weapons from what I could make out down there. Don't recall seeing any ordinance in the hanger either; think we're on some sort of freighter or exploration vessel?"

For a moment, Cayne's motion sensors claimed to have picked up movement around him with a single small ping to his right. But after shifting his gaze towards the direction of the anomaly, he found nothing there and no sounds to tie to a single entity; the ping too had gone completely dark. He looked to Pathfinder by his side but the drone simply gave him a quizzical posture, showing that it did not detect anything. "Anyone picking up unusual interference? I think my sensors are acting up..."

The overlooking walkway was not did not last long as they reentered into another deck, this time filled with rooms whose doors now were accessible. Peeking into them one at a time, Cayne could discern several rows of large compartments - possibly lockers, some of them actually open with a slew of unrecognizable tools and miscellaneous items across the floor. Some of the other chambers appeared smaller with only a few larger terminals residing in them.

"May want to take a quick look through here for anything useful; if anything, this looks to be a storage or equipment deck.” Cayne said aloud once more, pointing out anything his other squadmates may find fascinating.

Soon after walking through the vaguely dim-lighted deck, Cayne had stumbled upon yet another sealed door at the end of the hallway impeding their progress. Unfortunately there were no active terminals this time to order the doors slides to unlock, especially when this particular set seemed to be receiving power from somewhere. Frowning, he approached the door to examine it further but could clearly indicate it was fully shut.

“Got another door here…Looks like this one is locked down. May have to pry this sucker open or use some-“

Cayne was about to suggest using explosives to alternatively blow the seal clean off but it appeared that was not going to be the case. Just has he became within a few feet, the door’s sensor detected his presence and automatically unlocked, swinging open in one swift motion. Unexpectedly, a ray of light on the other side of the opened doors lit up his visual sensors, blinding him and causing him to curse as a result. Putting a free hand in front of his face to block out the light, he frantically toggled his sensors to shift modes and un-filter the radiance before him.

Groaning from the brief ordeal, he lowered he hand so he could get visual feed on what was directly in front of him. Cautiously stepping into a well-lit facility, he could see a wide open space with a single large pillar, decorated in holographic monitors and terminals located in the center of the room. The floor beneath his feet was detailed in markings and color coded lines with strange unrecognizable characters to highlight their purpose; or at least what Cayne could make sense of at least.

With Pathfinder already floating about and mapping out the fully active section, Cayne looked around, noting the architecture of a second floor overlooking him and several examples of stairways to reach them. There also appeared to be a bottom floor too as opposing flights mirrored their ascending counterparts respectfully. Around on his floor were several seemingly accessible rooms and stations with other functional terminals spread out or amassed at the center of the pillar. Interestingly enough, the lighting, while periodically flickering, notably gave off a greenish hue and upon checking his environmental readouts, he could see that life support seemed to be active. Not by much and certainly not sustainable, but active nonetheless.

“We got power running through this section…Whatever it is; looks important though.” Cayne radioed as he turned to his arriving team.
