All right. My apologies, Revan. I never noticed a distinct difference in her armor color throughout the series, but I'll update the list to adjust her to Black/Steel. Not a big deal.

Actually, I think it's steel/steel, which is basically black/black, and they say "Special forces black armor" So if it wasn't steel/steel, it would be black/black.

The two colors are so close that they're basically interchangeable. The Wikia lists it as being Black/Steel, but again, even going back I can't distinguish between the two. It's a minor thing.

Either way, I'll abide by the Wikia's confirmation of Black/Steel. Not a big deal; glad to have another player!

No it's Black/Steel.


There is clearly the black underlay with an obvious not black outer layer.

It could never be black/black. I wouldn't call the outer layer steel myself but that is what RT calls it which I am assuming is what Halo called it.

Halo doesn't have a "black" armour colour. "Steel" is a very, very dark grey that RT used to sub for actual black on Tex's armour.

Ohhhhh. Revan, I see where we're getting confused. Okay. I see what you mean. I thought you meant primary/secondary colors the way I have them in my icon (secondary being just the shoulders/helmet stripe/wrists). I see the issue. So you'll be technically black, no secondary color (no highlights in a brighter color). Is that correct?

I think the WIkia must list her as Black/Steel because of the issues you mentioned earlier, Revan. Normally Steel, but rarely shown as being in Black armor (and, as Treue pointed out, mentioned in discussion as having black armor).

Edit: @ Lost-- And a good point. There isn't black listed, but for this I think we can ignore that.

So! Here's what I've done. Since Texas is unlikely to be a major player in this, I'm going to say her colors are Steel/Steel, since that is the standard Halo "black" and it's what Roosterteeth went with until they started using their live-action animation. This way, Revan, you can have Black/Black as your color combination and we still stay true to Tex's "black" armor in the series.
