Once we are on our feet and moving I will begin to act as both the, for lack of a better word/phrase, NPC's and the world in general. Events and consequence of action will begin to be woven into your characters lives. Unless anyone is adverse to this, then I will reconsider.

Excuse my post of an ill spelling or the like. It was sent and written via my phone.

I welcome chit chat, gossip and conversations a plenty in this RP. There are two things that define races of a humanoid nature; sex and communication. Ignoring that first point, I insist that your characters engage in conversations. Be it with other characters or NPC's I mind not, as long they act as a member of a typical civilisation would, and interact.

Regarding the magic of the world, what level of power are you looking for in the characters, but also the world itself, @Shade?

So, can I just pretty much do whatever I want? When I introduce a NPC or something I [@mention] you, and you take over the role, doing what you wish, with GM power? Or do you just introduce NPC's at will? Also you said that you can do things to my character through the World. What would be some of the World's interactions to my character?

Like if I were to just do something with my character, like walking down the street, you would react with it?

@ZayZe Here is an example I have thought of:

If your character were to march up to the mayors palace and demand he resign and hand over his claim to yourself, I would promptly have you locked away behind bars.

If you were to stroll down the beggars lane near the trade market and kick the food from an old woman's hands, she would probably sob and curse at you. Equally, being a fantasy setting, probability suggests that on a rare occasion a witch from the woods comes here to find weak minded surfs to turn to her cause. She disguises herself often as a beggar herself. I would then follow up your post of said kicking etc with a post that suggests this - the information being meta of course.

On the other hand, the chances of her being a witch are slim, just as the chances of winning the lottery in real life are, or surviving a terrible demonic plague or an ailment of equal severity in the real world.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity Magic is not forbidden nor is it openly practiced too often. Petty entertainers and the like may use it to create wealth in public places but in general it is seen as mysterious and awesome. A natural pool of magical ability is within everyone, with varying degrees of size and potency. It is uncommonly tapped into.

There are those select few of Mage courts with masterful knowledge of the arcane and the necromancy riddles, and there are the evil and corrupt with equal power

Let's just say magic is like IQ today. Some people have it but cannot use it, others do not possess it but work hard and are taught to use it. Etc. Etc.
