RP's seem to be getting harder, I made a thread not to long ago and all I get is people questioning me all the time. Usually like how did he do that or how can she do that. I am sure one can break through a window when they need to or if they have the know how to hot wire a car. Sometimes I am a little vague due to how my brain works (I don't even know how it works) but I try more often then not to make it clear. A building entrance most likely has a glass door or a glass door and metal/wooden frame. Breaking it is like breaking a glass window, it is no wall of brick and cement as that makes no sense if that was the entrance of a building. It feels like logic is thrown out of the window or people don't read it properly. If I said front entrance of a building you would think of a door? Am I right which is more likely glass with wood/metal frame if a frame is there.

Sorry I just had to say it, I want to enjoy myself not play 50 questions with a side of RP sauce.

The amount of unserious 1x1 partners that just disappears, claiming they'll be back at some unspecified point in time. Maybe I just have bad luck, but you'd think people knew how active they were going to be able to be a fucking week before disappearing. The really annoying part is how hard it is to remain positive and interested in the RP you were going to do. Sure, I can throw the unserious partners away like nothing and never consider doing anything with them again. That's easy to do, but it's not as easy to regain the inital interest I had in an RP I may have wanted to do for a while and they ruined. Just why.

People who don't bother reading your interest checks. I spelled out my standards clearly. What makes you think I'm going to change them for you? Sigh. There's more than one site to look for 1x1 partners on, and in many cases like that I'd rather just do something else.

People who lie to your face, and takes the first opportunity to do what they said they never would.

Having to make that awful, awful choice of deciding which Rps to drop.

I over-signed myself for a bunch of Rps, and when my schoolwork decides to suddenly ramp up dramatically, I'm left with a considerable loss of free time; meaning that I can't maintain the same quality of posts I'd like to make for all of the Rps I'm in. So I have to decide to leave some.

AND IT HURTS ME SO DEEPLY, YOU GUIS.

(it makes it slightly better that most of the games would have gone inactive within a week or two)

You know what I really hate? When people who quit a rp I gm without any notice magically, one day, decided that they were going to show up in the OOC and repeat the same annoying - and old - rhetoric about how I'm such a "bad gm". Like what gives them the right to show up in the OOC to pretty much bash on the way I'm running the rp when they quit it without any notice? That shit gets on every last nerve of mine at the same time. >_>

When someone in an RP is pissing you off for whatever reason but you are too nice to say anything about it. I hate being nice a lot of the time as it gets me no where. So I have to come here and bitch, yet it does not completely go away as a few hours later I am back doing this shit again. I feel like a bunch of old Linkin Park tracks from Hybrid Theory/Meteora, I am all pent up. I miss the old guild, I did not have these problems much but I guess I will just have to deal with it.

This is an unreal RP, does fantasy and sci-fi not mean anything to you. A lot of logic is gone, only the basic types of logic still exist like not being able to breathe in space, being shot can (Not will) kill you, being tired, etc. How can you be logical when a xeno of some type that doesn't exist it trying to either kill or take you to their ship.

Image requirements for a CS. Not that it's the GM's fault, it's their decision I guess, but I'm just so bad at it. I much prefer a description over an image because I know what the character looks like in my head, and finding a good image that matches can be hell.

Sometimes it hangs me up to the point where I have to delay submitting a CS. I get why people use/need images for their character, it's just not my bag.

I suffer the same problem. It takes ages for me to find a good picture - but, I usually just find a picture I like and write a character around it.

Not saying you need to be like Ernest Hemingway and write as plainly as possible, but there's no need to steal from a Roman noble's vault of purple dye.
