Special forces:
All military units undergo 3 month basic training, and then the Army and marines go through a two month combat training course. Navy undergoes inrate training, which does not have a set time. Airforce also does the same. All branches under go training exercises routinely when not on the front line.
Regular special forces which take part in Sea, Air and land operations are trained from specially selected soldiers, sailors, marines, and airman from the regular branches they undergo a year of special training, and combat training.
A special Sect of special forces are recruited from orphans, who were left parentless from the past military conflicts. Known as the Vindicator Legion of the UAC. They are selected from the ages of 4-6, where they are trained in military knowledge, reading, writing, mathmatics, geography, cartography, shooting, physical training and basic military training for twelve hours, remainder of their time is used for sleeping and personal time. At the age of 10 they're shifted to in field tactics, they train on squad tactics and movements, hand to hand combat, stealth and explosives, improvised explosives and subterfuge. They're flown to various locations around the planet and taught how to survive and fight in multiple environments At sixteen they graduate and begin taking assignments.
The Training grounds for the VL is located deep in the outback, and heavily guarded, the training ground buildings are 350 feet underground and have anti-earthquake supports. they have underground Gardens to help support the facilities, which the children help grow in their off time. The facility is a closely guarded secret along with the VL, the facility has anti-missle and aircraft weapons along with a complete armory. In the last decade The UAC has gained a strong economic foothold, as it recovers from the conversion to Hydrogen fuel, and other energy conservation technologies. Now selling all refined petrol from former Australian Reserves to other countries, and minerals has caused the UAC to have a temporary economic boom. The UAC has a free economic stance.Cultural Description: The average UAC denizen values strength and loyalty, they focus on making use of everything available and have become very ostentatious. Over the last century, they have developed into a nation of resourceful individuals. Education is important, along with keeping a strong neutral stance in outside conflicts. More often than not they cry for isolationism. They now look to Unify all of australia, and have a negative outlook on foreigners.
Technological Overview: Mostly focused on renewable resources, Terraforming, Medicine, and military technologies. They use Hydrogen over gasoline, solar panels that can convert roughly 35% of the sun's energy. They rely heavily on drones for construction, military, agricultural and other uses. Most of its citizens are now involved in the tech industries.
History: After the death of Queen Elizabeth in 2018, the country fell into civil war. This is largely due to want from large group of Australians that wanted complete seperation from UK. Australia was split into East and west, this would last roughly ten bloody years until a truce was called. The truce lasted for nearly ten years until took place The Australian Conflict. The Australian conflict was several world powers fighting over Australian loyalty, land and resources. At the start of The Australian Conflict, many of its former allies fought over Australian land, due key military location and abundance of oil, and mineral resources. The australian lands turned into a bloodbath as Canadian, Chinese, United States, United Kingdom, Western Australian, and Eastern Australian, fought over land and air supremacy. Towards the end of the war, after Western Australia fell to the Eastern Side with the help of the United states, And Canadian militaries, the UK and China Withdrew their military units due fighting on multiple fronts, to high cost of overseas deployments and the war's toll on their own people, shortly after the United states, and Canada withdrew for similar reasons. Australia was once again whole but only for a short while, due to a private military organization which began to take hold in the South East. Eventually gaining momentum with the people they stepped from terrorist to government. Eventually the UAC formed, and now are at a standstill with the former Australian Government which holds out in the North Western corner of australia. Though this conflict has had the least bloodshed, only small battles, take place due to lack of resources on both sides. After five years a truce was called, to allow for the UAC and the North Western Australia to lick their wounds. The truce holds true today, though both keep up a strong military presence along the borders, occasionally a skirmish will break out though ends quickly.U.A.C. Has a small space program on the surface, the rest of the program is based at their Space stations which orbits the moon, and another that orbits Mars. Here the U.A.C. ships can dock, do repairs and resupply.
The U.A.C. Has a small fleet of warships in their space program, consisting of about 40 ships in total. Many of the other ships are meant for colonization, scavenging, terraforming, and mining.
Warships are built similar to a knife, tall and very narrow. They're outfitted with reactive armor, 44 5" rail guns, which are fitted seamlessly into the sides of the ships. The ships also have 8, 16" rail guns that can be charged to turn the rounds into plasma. One of the large fusion reactors can be used to "super charge" the rail guns heating them up to produce bolts of plasma. Missle weapons include. 50 missile batteries, armed with nuclear and non-nuclear warheads. Main propulsion is used by venting the energy into plasma thrusters.
The Non-military ships range from small car sized drones which run off of solar energy, and use ion thrusters to move to large colony ships which have mass Cryobeds. The Cryo bed works by sedating the patient, submerging them in water which then drains the patient of blood and then placing hypodermic needles which can heat the vessels slowly then introducing blood back into the system before unfreezing the patient rapidly. Before a colony ship drones break off and check the world, before beginning set up for the new inhabitants. There are currently only five Colony ships.
U.A.C. Uses their scavenger ships to consume old satellites found in orbit around mars, the moon and the earth prior to their retrograde in the atmosphere.Foreign policy overview: To defend the Australian people from outside threats, trade with friendly countries and regain the former Australian territory and to colonize other planets.
Military stance: purely for defense of self and allies.
Trade stance: Willing to trade with non-hostile nations.
Foreign Aid: Only in extreme circumstances, and to interfere with others as little as possible.
Covert operations: Anything to help secure the safety of the people of the U.A.C.

... So why does Socialist Alaska have more soldiers than it does people?
And how come diesel somehow works in space now? given y'know, a lack of oxygen?
<Snipped quote by EldritchOne>
Weeeell, if you're referencing Alaska's population before 2040, it grew bcuz of y'know, lots of oil and stuff, so more jobs, and some immigration here and there. Also, it's 2103 - there's got to be more than seven billion of us on the planet.
And as for the diesel engines, this might help.
