History: Kelvin grew up in an average family, he himself always being interested in computers. Specifically cooperative gaming. He loved any kind of game that involved teamwork based strategy, and loved even more bringing teamwork into games that never were designed for it. He ended up going to college for business and management. Entrepreneurship was always his goal though.
He focused on new technology, and when the first hints of full dive technology started being passed around the developmental labs he immediately got involved. He joined the discussion of how different sensations should be handled, and was specifically involved in the project involving water. True water physics were very difficult, and took incredibly complex equations to even begin to handle. His team was the one to figure out a work around- using rules and restrictions that made water react similarly, if not exactly, as water in the real world.
When the beta test for Alheim Online came out, he was invited in- but not as a player. His role during the testing was to monitor how well their programming for the water was working. Of course, this didn’t stop the horseplay and random ‘tests’ that most developers are prone to. As it was, when the full version came out, he was ready.
What he was not prepared for however, was the sudden surprise of being trapped within a system he had helped create. Red Hawk quickly adapted to the situation, and gathered a group of players under him in the beginning chaos to establish order. This eventually snowballed into a faction who supported him as leader to their race.
Personality: Kelvin is bold and straight forward. He makes choices decisively when he can, and prefers careful plans to radical action. Kelvin’s real strength is carrying through with difficult choices. Sometimes, the morally wrong choice must be made for the good of the whole, and he can bring himself to accept that.
Because of this however, he is liable to hold himself distant from others, to protect his judgement and them from connection with him. Overall, his goal is to bring as many people back as possible, however possible.
Character Build: Kelvin decided to focus on power and heavy armor, not just for the benefits, but for the character design as well. He knew that he wanted to become a leader, and would need the image of strength and power in his character. Instead of diversifying, Kelvin chose a few important spells/skills (excepting cooking) and focused on raising them to high levels as quickly as possible.
