My claim for the Pax Commonwealth.
I plan it in a way that I have a rival or two on the same penisula.
At first I wanted to claim the whole not-Italy but then I realized I'd actually count as a great power, then.

Further info from just this claim alone.
Area: 24265 square miles
Population: 3.44 million (compared with 1700s Italy, so it's very densely populated)

@ClocktowerEchos's claim and my own tentative claim. Depending on prior arrangements I may or may not be actually making a nation. If anyone else wants that territory, it's yours, I just thought I should mark the idea down before I forgot it.

@RomanAriawhy is our map even lower resolution than the original?
Also I actually fixed up my claim a bit, taking more land towards the not-Germanic territories in order to have some lands which can actuall sustain a population.

@Willy Vereb I was feeling self-conscious about posting a huge image so I shrank it. If you just take out the "?2" on the imgur link it'll give it full resolution... I think.

Here's the original again.


Remember, if you're going to stake out a claim, make sure that you're using a file that ends in .png or .gif (gifs are a little less memory intensive, but pngs will never loose clarity to compression), and likewise, make sure that you save the finished image as a png or gif in your image editor of choice. The reason your maps are getting all grainy and pixelated is because you've been saving as .jpg, which compresses the file.

So for now on, .png or .gif.

This is a public service announcement reminding you to stop goofing off in Chatzy and get brief character sheets together (because nobody reads them, to be perfectly honest) so we can get IC rolling.

I've seen too many NRPs die because of excessive development. The sooner an RP transitions from development stage to IC stage, the better off the RP is.
