I didn't know T1 was well known until I came here, I mean its been like literally ten years since I last had anything to do with arena fighting or anything. I know about eden era but after that no idear.

Replied, if you happen to have a character that would better match the themes of my own characters I'm happy to take a look. Out of my own the only character that felt remotely suitable for facing Gun is Kaelin, who is really not suitable for ranked fights.

Looks like a fresh batch of people to up my win count...err...give a kind welcoming. For those of you who don't know, The Great One is responsible for 66% of my losses and I shall never work up the courage to challenge him again. Does any of you want to be my padawan learner that can mold into a beast capable of taking him down in my stead?

Like I said, I have dozens. What is your particular 'theme'?

I have a Clockwork Character who fits Steampunk and gritty historical fantasy themes, I have a Wraith who suits supernatural battles alongside a Vampire and a Ghoul. I have an energy manipulator, drainer, and all-round powerhouse for DBZ-esque combat, and I have two near-future military types for gunfights or mechanical fights.

On top of that I have a monster-slayer/ancient mythology style character I can finish at any point, a very low powered medieval fantasy character, and an un-powered Ancient Gladiator style character. Also, I have a character for what essentially amounts to sub-god level combat, just under combat between divinities, though I wouldn't use xir for Ranked Battle.

Also Judgement, but I can't be bothered to use him again and he's kind of already in use.

I suppose I also have an abundance of other types, but my current roster fill all the themes I have an interest in, particularly in fighting.

Skip to 9:13 if you just want to see the battle. If your Tifa doesn't uppercut people with a summoned dolphin then we are missing out.

@melonhead Of my own roster, the ones that are worth mentioning or still in use are:

Metatron: My take on the seraph, utilizing relevant lore and whatnot.

Lucifer: Like above, though my particular Lucy is one set thousands of years in the future. Theological-historical sci-fi I guess is what I'd call it?

Akira: Kinda complicated. Stripped of absolutely all fluff and lore, he is essentially a psionic being controlled by an alien life form taking the form of a giant stone a la Dead Space.

Gun: You already know this one.

Silver: A fancy robutt with cosmic powers.

Galvanand: A metal elemental, who uses electromagnetic influences. Pretty mild in raw power output.

Tsukasa: A shinigami( though not the bleach variety). Use of the Japanese ofuda, life energy, and can utilize the essence of various materials to create new effects, and curses. Probably the tamest of my recent characters.

@Rilla I haven't used Aki in quite some time; that might change. She's on ice, but maybe her heart will melt.

@ImportantNobody I'm honestly not a fan of the majority of their fights. Tifa vs. Yang was a mismatch, but hey, two "iconic" battle vixens will get people to watch, even if Yang isn't relevant to anything apart from some creation from Monty Oum, who is now also dead. However, I did find ScrewAttack's interpretation of Premium Heart and Final Heaven interesting.

It probably stems more from their utter inability to choreograph swordplay apart from basic 2D Guilty Gear animations. Seeing Cloud vs Link made me laugh out of pity over how poorly storyboarded their actions where; Also, the Sephiroth-Virgil fight. I got to watch Sephiroth use a blade beam attack, then just stand there to see if something would happen. What a marvelous choice from SOLDIER's finest, who is also a brilliant tactician in combat. Let's just... stand there and not have any follow-up because my puppeteers are imbeciles. As long as our viewers keep eating up our garbage.

Their 'no research' approach to One Minute Melee fits well since they have no idea who Sephiroth is; yet they nailed Sakuya Izayoi's style in her match; not to mention the Masamune wasn't long enough.

Although, people are already paying those two and their team for mediocre quality.

@Gun Your characters all seem pretty high-power. I'd be at a significant mismatch if I used the one I wanted; though I do have one designed for higher tier fights.

Now I miss playing Yufi... choices.

@MelonHead Not even the People's Champion started at the top of the ladder. The Rock says I gotta know my role and get my push toward the title via the low-mid cards; then I'll have to cut a few promos to stir the crowd.

It's just best for business.

Well, I can't tell for sure because you don't use proper Arena style character sheets, but I'd guess most of those characters are a little higher tier than most of mine. Considering how they're either robots with super-powers or varying forms of divine creatures.

None of them really match up all that well with my themes either, as you've gone down the Divine, Psionic and otherwise Futuristic route which is sort of the antithesis of my preferred style at the moment. You might want to actually take a look at my character's raw power in my CS deposit so you have some idea what sort of power level my characters sit around.
