Yo!

I'm new to Roleplayer Guild, not to roleplaying. I write and roleplay as a hobby, and I consider it relaxing! However, I really enjoy exploring all kinds of different themes, and I try to make my final draft as good as I can make it in the time frames I'm given to work with. I think of roleplay via play-by-post as an exercise in developing my ability to build characters and describe complicated scenes. My end goal is ALWAYS to make it clear what's going on moment to moment. At the time of this writing, my action scenes need a bit of work! Roleplaying via play-by-post gives me the opportunity to be stimulated while I exercise these skills (aka I think it's fun!)

So I look forward to interacting with you, writing with you, and overall having fun with like-minded individuals!

Yeah, honestly was expecting it to do that.

As for the fast welcome, I tend to be spontaneous, though I don't welcome as many people as I probably should.

Mind if I ask what interests you?

A lot of things! I think you may be referencing what interests me to write in particular, though.

I love Sci-Fi specifically, but I do dabble in Fantasy a lot. Really, I like to focus on particular conflicts/themes that mesh well with characters I have in mind. Alternately, I develop characters AROUND conflicts/themes. Betrayal? Possibly my favorite thing is to build up a story where a character trusts someone completely, only to have that trust violated. I like my characters to be leaders in some way, though they don't have to start out leaders. My personal favorite of my work was an agoraphobic character who had to overcome his fear of the outside world to save a spy he was a handler for. I hope that helps to show my interests, because narrowing it down is pretty difficult for me. I write for a lot of different settings, conflicts, themes, and I'm not tied to particular characters. I favor sci-fi themes and settings, however.
