Jack is a gang operator and he can probably supply less than legal equipment to her or she could be under one of the protected areas. Jack doesn't deal in drugs he's more of one of those protector gangs. Or you could be a friend who was recruited to help hack into Britannian reports.

I would love it if they could be friends of some sort, and supplying her would certainly help her out with her hacking. However, she really only hacks into bank accounts for money, so it'll take some persuasion to have her hack into Britannian reports.

Well if she can supply them with funds to keep up with weapons, and ammo then Jack would definitely accept that in exchange for any computer goods he happens to come across. I suppose they could be actual friends too Jack is a nice guy but he is still a thug due to his situation at the moment.

My post will handle a basic setting and such. I'll make sure it's pretty interesting outside of PMs, not to worry. There'll be consequences for your actions. (I was planning to do this PM post a little while ago, but *coughcoughstatus* happened.) I'll send out a detailed outline of how the IC will work into the PM in just a bit.

My character's not approved yet, but assuming the broad framework is acceptable, who wants to get tied into this ruse cruise?

Vance, I feel like you would be the best choice, perhaps we've fought? An armored division would make rather bad counter-insurgent troops, but that would only let Arthur do what military types love to do: complain about the chain of command.

Stratovarius too would be an easy fit, perhaps Arthur knew the house of Valihad or was allied with it, and the two know each other despite the gap in ages.

I suppose you could somehow fit in Jack he's cooled down his actions since his IRA support and JLF days though. And he himself was a big unknown character unless someone spilled the beans on him which is possible but something I didn't plan on. No one in Ireland knows where he is unless he contacts them and the only JLF members he has with him now as members of Nagamasa's personal brigade in which Jack took part in personally.

Idea: the unit Nagamasa attacked was a battalion commanded by Arthur, thus making him responsible for Jack's mentor's death. Arthur would of course not know who Jack is, but I expect it would not be too hard for a person, hungry for vengeance for the murder of his friend, to find out the name of the commander of a battalion. It would lead to a fun dynamic when our characters eventually meet.

Perhaps the small gang has been troubling Arthur's reluctant pacification attempts, so there would be some initial tension going the other way, too.
