Also, on a more serious note. I am stubborn enough to delay it further if I get pestered. It's 10pm and I am tired, so if you have to wait you have to wait.

I am up to 1132 words, will conclude in the morning and have it up tomorrow. However, is anyone willing to put their character forwards to help my character break into the medical bay, or walk in there when she is ransacking it? Whoever does, may get their hands on a weapon.

For now I'm off to bed. Night all.

One last question, although I'm sure the IC post will mention it: will we get a rough map of the structure of the Apox centre? Things like how separated are the stasis cells, where are the most important and still functional places, etc.

@Mateotis I've included the basic outline, as much as my character would know about it. However, I fully expect our group to do one final raid of the place before leaving, once the initial drama and panic is over. Here is where Elmina will be important, as she will be the one that can get them into places. Your character will play a very important part here, which I will PM you about shortly.

I can if you want include a bit information in the OP about the Apox, basic layouts?

Right, well my post is done. I will edit the basics into the OP before I post it up.

At the end of my post, a male hand punches Elmina, probably because of what is in her hand. Now anyone can be that person, or it can be an NPC that someone could kill.

Unless somebody wants to set the bar for sexism in this RP by just randomly punching the first woman he sees after waking up. XD
Or would that make the player an advocate of equality, because he doesn't care if it's a guy or a girl he punches?

IC POST IS UP


There is a little info in the first post about the Apox. Absolutely no one can get into the command centre, only Elmina can get into there and she doesn't know anything about the weapons locker. So please no one go onto the upper deck of the centre, because your characters will not be able to get into anything.

@Rosalind Exceptional post, and certainly worth the wait! :) Your writing pattern reminds me of the speech patterns in Spartacus - the Starz TV series - due to the missing out of certain words and the like.

As much as I'd like to be the person hitting your character in the face, I'll see if sanyone else presents self for the purpose.

You can wake up where ever you want. Some of the chambers burst open on impact, or at least smashed. Some of them were knocked out and broke free (such as my characters) whilst some remain sealed.

There is no rush to get a first post done today, I am on nights tonight and tomorrow night and so Tuesday and Wednesday are sleeping days for me. So everyone can take a few days to perfect their post or contact other writers etc.

That being said, I do like to get replies done as soon as possible.

Replies do not need to be as long as mine, I am terrible for making things long winded. Should see my notes at work, something as simple as a fractured ankle becomes an epic tale of hardship and tragedy. Bit of an exaggeration but I can waffle on a bit.

On my part, everything should be okay. Most of the post will be dealing with the past and Jake should not encounter anyone on his escape just yet.
