The entrance of the cave overlooked a valley that was broken off after many stretching miles by a long and wide river. The dragon that resided in this cave was called Rhoo, and almost daily, she enjoyed sitting on the edge and admiring the beauty of the land before her. Since the years of the Great War that divided her species from their original residence had passed, she hadn't much to do around the new world she was living in. It was somewhat calming, however. There were no responsibilities. No troubles. All she did was simply admire nature and hunt.
It wasn't uncommon for her to come across other sentient creatures, especially other species of dragon. It was interesting for Rhoo to learn about their culture, hunting habits and abilities, ways of life. She enjoyed speaking with them, but inevitable, they parted ways. She noticed most other creatures traveled, never staying in the same place for too long. Rhoo wasn't like this. She enjoyed her new home.
The day had long since begun, and Rhoo was stretched out upon the stone floor of her cave, soaking up the sun that was shining in through its entrance. She could hear birds singing their songs, and the leaves rustling against one another as a breeze forced them to sway. It was blissful.
