The entrance of the cave overlooked a valley that was broken off after many stretching miles by a long and wide river. The dragon that resided in this cave was called Rhoo, and almost daily, she enjoyed sitting on the edge and admiring the beauty of the land before her. Since the years of the Great War that divided her species from their original residence had passed, she hadn't much to do around the new world she was living in. It was somewhat calming, however. There were no responsibilities. No troubles. All she did was simply admire nature and hunt.

It wasn't uncommon for her to come across other sentient creatures, especially other species of dragon. It was interesting for Rhoo to learn about their culture, hunting habits and abilities, ways of life. She enjoyed speaking with them, but inevitable, they parted ways. She noticed most other creatures traveled, never staying in the same place for too long. Rhoo wasn't like this. She enjoyed her new home.

The day had long since begun, and Rhoo was stretched out upon the stone floor of her cave, soaking up the sun that was shining in through its entrance. She could hear birds singing their songs, and the leaves rustling against one another as a breeze forced them to sway. It was blissful.

The Anvil had no understanding of the passage of time like other sentient beings did. Each day for the Anvil was like a blink of an eye. It had been this way ever since it had been given its own form, its own body. Despite this, however, the Anvil was aware of panging that it was not familiar with. A...loneliness. Yes, that was the word. The Anvil was quite alone.

It had been sitting in its little shrine for a very long time; of that, the Anvil was sure. But for how long? That, the Anvil did not know. Nor did it really care. It'd had plenty of time alone, it thought, and it was ready for something new. Was it not an Anvil? Were Anvils not meant to be used? The Anvil decided that it needed to fulfill its purpose. It needed a Smith.

Though, the Anvil was not yet sure how it would go about getting one.

Dianna was leaned against a tall but thin tree at the edge of the forest with her tail curled around the trunk. She stared at the birds in the trees, slightly mesmerized by the songs they were singing. She tapped her foot slowly, being a bit bored and having nothing to do at the moment. Dianna shook her head to get out of the trance then looked around, not looking at much. On her left and right side were the endless rows of trees, and in front of her was the base of one of the enormous mountains in the mountain range.

She didn't want to sit around any longer, so Dianna decided to quickly travel around to have something to do. She quickly stretched her legs, tail, and wings then started to leisurely walk around, staying at the edge of the forest. After walking a few feet from her spot, she started to slowly climb up another mountain to get a better view of the large woods.

Rhoo crawled across the cavern floor to look out over the cliff. She spotted movement down below, in the trees. Someone, something was moving down there. Curiosity sparked, and she watched intently to get a better glimpse of the creature. It was moving slowly enough, though still at a rather brisk pace. To her surprise, it started scaling up her side of the mountain.

Naturally, she backed up a bit, waiting for the creature to arrive.

Dianna repeatedly fixed the hood on her head to make sure it kept a shadow over her face while she climbed the mountain. After a few minutes she managed to find a cave, but it wasn't empty. A light pink and black dragon with one wing, and three tails was backed halfway into the darkness, staring at Dianna as if she was trying to inspect her. Dianna wasn't surprised since after all, her red tail and wings were easily and purposely visible outside of her clothes. Without hesitation she did a small wave at the dragon hoping that it was friendly.

The Anvil was aware of a disturbance on the Mountain, but the Anvil knew not what it was, for the Anvil did not have eyes to see with. But the Anvil knew that it was not far away. Perhaps the Anvil could somehow get to the odd occurance which confused it.

The Mountain which was its parent spoke to the Anvil, and it told the Anvil that the Anvil could indeed go there, if it willed to.

So the Anvil willed, and the Anvil was surprised to discover that it had disappeared from its place in the shrine to keep it from collecting dust, and the Anvil appeared inside the cave with two living creatures. Angel-Dragons. The Anvil sat in a dark shadow of the cave, silently observing the strange creatures which it had never before seen.
