I left it ambiguous in regards to Nagamasa so as if we need to use his character for anything later we could. He could be dead or alive. All the same your unit could have been a part of the units Nagamasa's force attack only to result in a defeat for his unit leaving the commander's fate unknown.

As for Jack's Gang it's possible that could also be a thing since they don't like britannians coming into their territory.

Alright do with your relationship to Jack as you will but I'm not sure if it's worth really adding onto Jack all too much since him being Britannian and a general just makes him another target to Jack.

Up to you, @ClocktowerEchos. I just figure that a relation between them is too easy to miss

I'm not saying I don't want to I just don't believe it is in Jack's character to specifically pinpoint one general unless it's in a battle or unless he knows he hurt his friends for certain. Nothing Jack hates more is to hurt someone who's done nothing wrong.

Sounds reasonable, Vance. I'll shift it around to make Arthur's pursuit more active. I figure if he's stuck in some backwater until war starts again, and his only method for promotion is to catch turr-ists, then Jack would be on that hit list which would be pursued avidly, presumably near the top for plot reasons.

@Zugzwang Sorry, I'm late to the party! ^.^' Anyway, let me clear my head (and ache of the aforementioned, ugh for migraines) and grab some coffee and I'll have a sit-down with that CS you've got there.

Okay, Arthur looks good! Once you get that history sorted out, I'll give all of you a day or two for relationships before setting you FREE! Otherwise known as the extremely exciting FIRST IN-CHARACTER POST! Hahahah! Anyway, there's my announcement. Time to give thinking a rest. (This happens once in a while. I always have a headache, without fail, and I mean literally, but when you top that with a migraine it creates an environment not meant for minds of any kind. Ugh.)

I'll get the history done tonight, start the countdown. I am giddy to get started.

EDIT: First draft of the History written. It's vanilla, but I guess that's sort of the direction I'm taking Arthur: a talented man within the machine, normal save for ability and ambition.

that seems to be the staple of the majority of the male characters.

Anyone working with the Britannian forces should probably know Elise. Sorry for not being so active in the OOC, but I have been watching you all O___O. Anyhow, she probably isn't really friends with you guys, but if you are a Knightmare user, she will have some respect for you and interest in making you a test dummy.

It is but you don't change the world by being an average pencil-pusher. I guess it'll be interesting to see how they all pan out since they do all have different moralities and such.

@karamonnom

Wait why didn't I think of that. Why not be attached to the 89th? They're just working as OPFOR and counter-insurgents, they would be the perfect unit to help field test new knightmares and to act as caretakers for the engineer. This would of course not necessitate you letting the 89th play with your new nightmare. You could have a relationship with some hotshot ace NPC in the division or something.

Also, @vancexentan, I think Arthur is going to feel original. The idea of him I have in my head certainly does, perhaps it did not come across in the CS. Have faith that he'll play well and be both unique and entertaining. I think the #1 thing to remember is that Arthur has no world-changing ambitious plans for the moment: amassing power and assuming either indirect control over Britannian politics or direct control over Britannian military might is his only real goal at the moment. That, and annexing the Chinese Federation, of course.

Would I be wrong in saying it's like this?

Chaotic Good: Jack
Lawful Neutral: Clock's guy (Sorry his name escapes me as i'm writing this)
Lawful Evil/Chaotic Neutral: Arthur

@vancexentan

There's a thing called the Char tab for a reason.

I personally feel that my guy is going to become more of a chaotic evil under a mask of lawful neutral/good

God I always hated the DnD morality system. Arthur is certainly not Chaotic, he wants the empire to rule the world because nation states create wars and wars kill people.

As for Evil, eh, probably? I'll be making sure his goals are relateable at least, and his reasons marginally sound, though "absolute world domination-enforced peace" could be called evil depending on what school of thought you subscribe to. It is certainly a bad idea if you ask me. Not sure it's evil.

Wow. I'm always a bit surprised at the pure amount of posts you guys make while I'm gone. @karamonnom and I are left out of all this R w/ O C discussion! Come on, guys! Anyway, @Zugzwang, your history seems alright (though I'm not soure what a DSC is, or that whole paragraph's meaning really).

Nobody knows Yuu or Elise yet. Anybody? Maybe?
