Viral really did miss eating, especially when he enjoyed it a lot in the past. Everyone knew he was very into eating, seeing how he was basically made from predators who were well known for consuming a lot. Eating was just too difficult and to have so many flashbacks and overly worried responses from simply having the taste in his mouth gave him way too much grief. “It might work, it might…but I don’t know as well”, he sighed, staring at the near empty glass, “The only reason I feel good about it is because I have that medicine. I hate how much food affects me…” It certainly made him pretty furious when everyone went to go eat and they’d be showing off how pleased they were after consumption. Listening to Vegeta’s reasoning behind removing the gravity he sighed, finishing off his water. “…I suppose I should try again. It was painful trying to run, but pain is nothing once it’s all over…”

Kiton attempting to explain his own experiences to Sasha certainly didn’t go well, even if he was trying his best to explain what he was talking about. “By being involved in it! Like-…like being in it! Not just seeing it or losing a house temporarily…” He was trying hard to explain himself but Sasha was very quickly getting in his face, pulling back a little as she decided to practically rage in his face. She didn’t care what he had to say, she was just concerned with showing him up with her own experiences, as if trying to show she was better than him because she had gone through all of that and turned out to be good like the little girl. She didn’t know him, she didn’t know anything about his life and was simply assuming his criminal life was all he had to show for himself. Staring at her when she decided to walk off he frowned at her words, wondering if she even understood him beyond being a criminal down on his luck.

Kiton didn’t know if anyone would want to understand him, feeling like he was going to be just constantly trying to get people prove to him how terrible he was for not being happy with his life. Gasping when Leto touched his back he looked over his shoulder quickly before away again, sighing heavily before waving a hand. “She doesn’t know how I feel. It’s just a competition for her. It doesn’t matter anyway”. Nobody was really concerned with his own past or nothing so he wasn’t going to get into it. Staring down at the toy he only looked up when Leto thought it was best to continue their little trek. “Wonders? Probably just…more disappointment…” Following after Leto was something he didn’t know would be good, seeing how he was already making trouble. If he made any more while out here, he’d probably be put away for sure.

Krom found Takeshi rather amusing the entire time he continued to try and block off Takeshi, watching his every move. He was certainly trying his best to show off and that was rather amusing in itself, smirking as he continued to hold off Takeshi without no problem. The kid had the problem of trying too hard to impress and not actually putting enough effort into his attacks, snickering when he decided to shout at him some more as he tried to punch his face. Blocking him he snickered, finding it amusing that Takeshi didn’t think he could block such an attack when he was up against an Elite. “Heh yeah, you’re right! At least you can actually hit me and not act like a wimp about it!” he snickered, throwing an arm around to throw Takeshi away, “You’re lucky I’m not supposed to hit you too hard! You’d probably get pretty beat up if you ask me!”

Shu was rather worried he was going to mess this training up with Aito, but he was still trying and that should’ve been all that mattered. He was worried he wasn’t going to get through any of this stuff without humiliating himself or making no progress. He was going to get left behind, he knew it. Trying to start off fighting against Aito he squeaked as he was pushed to the side, stumbling before turning to face Aito. Of course he couldn’t do it, it was silly to try. Turning around he frowned, wondering if he was even good enough. Keeping his head low for a second he sighed, dropping his shoulders a moment before he nodded. “I-I guess I could try…” Thinking it was best to try the first suggestion he made a dash in, running at Aito before jumping to the side and leaping at him, trying to catch him this time.

"Either way we should try it. At worst nothing changes, at best you're able to eat again, even if in small portions. I'd say the risk of that is definitely worth it." If Viral was able to eat again then he should improve substantially, even if it was only gradual at first. "We'll get over that though, it's not going to be a permanent issue. Try going into this meal with the notion that things can improve, a little optimism may help move things along." At this point in the cycle anything would help; Viral had been ill for so long, even marginal improvements would be seen as grand by now. Taking the glass from Viral once he was done, Vegeta set it by the wall mats and gestured for the Beastman to get back to his feet, intent on continuing their exercises all the same. So he'd gotten tired from running, there was no reason to slow down just because he was tired; some lighter exercises like lunges or squats would do the trick, just to keep him active. "We can do something else first then come back to running. I figure perhaps... Squats? Unless your legs feel too worn after running, in which case we can go back to push-ups, just repeat what we did earlier."

Maybe Sasha was missing what Kiton was saying, but then the same could be said for him. You didn't have to take part in a war to be effected by it, to know loss or strife or any of the awful things that came with it. It was beyond frustrating to her, for someone who had witnessed death and loss to be told she was wrong. They were similar, her and the Frost Demon, yet the latter couldn't seem to grasp that; never mind her and Kiton, he wasn't even remotely giving rise to the idea that the young girl from before was tainted too. It was as though unless someone had it as bad as he did they couldn't be 'tainted', or grieve. That was wrong, there were obviously different ways people were effected, yet it didn't make anyone's problems any less significant. Unable to stay here without going off on Kiton, Sasha stormed off to find somewhere to calm down, not wanting to fight with him right now. What a stupid thing to argue about, loss and hardship, it was like they were competing to see who had it worse.

"If I may... I think you two are actually both very close, at least in how you feel. Your experiences were just different, and you don't know how to reconcile those differences," Leto said thoughtfully, giving a nod of his head, "I don't know what you went through, and to be honest, I don't know what Miss Sasha went through either. I'd be happy to listen if either of you wanted to talk though, it's the least I can do." Aside from the Saiyans he had a relatively good early life, certainly nowhere to the degree of difficulty that some of these people were having. He definitely never had to live as Kiton did, as a criminal, even when he was in the Empire's ranks he had been treated relatively well. "Nonsense, I promise that there are wondrous sights awaiting us! Stay positive my friend, enjoy the beauty of this world for what it is! And enjoy having a peace of mind for the first time in years."

Takeshi was certain he'd be able to hit Krom like this, there was no way there was enough space for the guy to react. So when he tried throwing a quick punch at the Elite's face and found himself blocked, he only grew more frustrated by the second. Trying to force his fist through he gritted his teeth angrily, unable to do anything as he was thrown off and away like a fly. "And you're lucky I'm not supposed to kill you! Because I'd really love to!" This jerk treating him lightly, he wasn't some pushover dammit! Slamming a foot into the ground again he pushed off and darted back at Krom, throwing a straight right jab at the man's gut, fully expecting it to be blocked. If it was blocked then he'd immediately try to hit him with his left, and should that fail he'd simply jump up, driving his head into Krom's chin seeing as he was shorter than the guy. "Don't treat me like some helpless kid! I can fight!"

From the sounds of things Krom certainly had the more difficult of the two boys. Aito was secretly grateful for as much, as unless Shu went and changed, training with him would be a cakewalk. Both boys needed work in the way they fought, yet he was optimistic they could refine their unique... Styles and salvage something from it. After brushing Shu off on his first attack, the doctor gave him a small piece of advice, wanting to see what Shu might do with it. Then, waiting for the next move he watched the young boy carefully, assuming the same relaxed stance as he began coming in for an attack. The sudden jump to the side was different, but again not wholly difficult to deal with. Instead of pushing Shu aside this time, Aito simply grabbed him by the shirt and caught him, holding him out with a slight smile on his face. "I'm curious... Why is it you feel the need to try and charge every time?" he asked, setting Shu down on his feet, "It makes your attacks to obvious, like what your brother does. Maybe try fighting me here, now that we're close enough to trade blows? I'd like to see how you fight, if you'll indulge me."

Viral didn’t have much of a care over his own health so long as everyone would get off his back about it. Everyone was counting on him getting better and he didn’t want to have to keep making them so upset if he was unable to leave to ease their worries. Even if he tried to leave he wouldn’t get very far, not with them on his tail all the time. “Sometimes when I accidentally fall asleep, I dream of ripping out your guts and eating them”, he sighed lazily, slowly rubbing his neck, “It’s so vivid and believable that I remember it for days on end”. Staring at Vegeta as he took his glass he watched him before frowning at the request to get back up, slowly moving his legs around so he might be able to get up. It was strangely rather difficult to do such a thing after that running exercise, but he accounted that to being overly worn down rather than laziness. Managing to get to his unsteady feet he looked to Vegeta who gave further instructions, over his next actions. “Hmmmph…squats would be painful. Maybe just…hmm…” Slowly dropping down to his hands he started doing fairly slow push-ups. He would move faster with them but he was still recovering from the uncomfortable nature the running gave him, but it would get better eventually.

Kiton didn’t think he was going to get past the whole ‘just a criminal’ outlook everyone had of him, but that shouldn’t matter at all when he never did give anybody a good image in the first place. That girl wasn’t tainted by war, she probably wouldn’t remember any of the bad times when she got older and would only remember having to be out with her family after some explosions or something, nothing particularly traumatising. She didn’t know anything like real war or fighting needlessly. Sasha sure did know about war and all that, but she had her brother by her side and so many friends while he had basically nothing. Sasha was right to be all angry at him, he was just bringing trouble where ever he went so it would be a waste of time to assume he had been damaged by any of these experiences when he clearly enjoyed being a criminal for so long.

But whatever, it didn’t matter when nobody really cared about his opinions or anything. Looking to Leto when he tried to make him feel better about it he just sighed, shaking his head and lowering it. “I barely feel comfortable being close to you, nevermind talking to you about matters like that”, he spoke, looking away, “Talking about things like that isn’t really something you talk to strangers about…” He only first met the guy before starting this and to talk to someone he barely knew anything about concerning his life. It would feel like he was talking to some sort of therapist that he paid to talk, even if this offer was completely free. “Years? My whole life has been part of the ‘dark side’ or whatever you people call it. It’s going to take a lot more than sightseeing to bring me peace of mind…”

Krom didn’t think he needed to be too be too rough with Takeshi, he knew he was supposed to be teaching him a lesson and so far this was the best lesson. To show he wasn’t going to get anywhere by attacking like an idiot was probably best, showing he was weaker than he thought and would need the training. All he was doing was throwing brutal punches and what not, but nothing was going to die that way and he certainly wasn’t about to let himself get hurt either by any of them. Watching his carefully before snickering, catching Takeshi’s fist before it could hit with one hand, blocking the other with his other before swinging his head back as Takeshi attempted to headbutt. “You are some helpless kid who can’t fight!” Clutching Takeshi’s fists tighter he swung around, letting go, “You won’t get anywhere treating this like some sort of street brawl!”

Shu was trying hard to please Aito, even if he greatly doubted himself but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Even though he made a leap and did try to get Aito he was quickly caught out again, even trying to do what he was told. Squeaking when he was pushed to the side he gasped when Aito grabbed hold of him, staring back at him with a frown. “I-I-….what? B-But…” he muttered, staring at the ground as he was set down again. He was feeling all flustered and didn’t know what he was supposed to say, feeling that sense of failure spring up all over again. Sighing, he looked back to Aito, staring at him when he tried to give him some tips. Frowning, he lifted his fists to him again before simply trying to throw punches at him, not really understanding what good it would do if he couldn’t even initiate a fight.

In spite of that being a fairly gruesome dream Vegeta didn't appear to flinch at all. Keeping an indifferent expression, he remained silent for a moment before letting out a sigh, running a hand through his hair with a small nod. "I see... I suppose that's to be expected. That event on Pagonia left its mark, and it's only natural you'd have a nightmare about it. Because I know it's just a manifestation of your fears and self-doubts, not your desire, I have no reason to be worried." Well, that wasn't fair to say, but rather he knew the chances of such a thing were incredibly low. Viral had always managed to retain some semblance of control, either that or they could help him do so; with his condition bound to begin improving as well there would be even less reason to worry. Proposing to carry on with exercising, Viral changed the workout by opting for push-ups instead. "So it really did a number on your legs, hm?" Vegeta asked, crouching down and folding his arms across his knees, "Perhaps we could have the meal sooner than I suggested? Some nutrition will help your muscles recover faster. And, if you're still serious about training, then it can only be beneficial."

Leto wanted to try and help Kiton, even if he didn't know him. Since joining the rebels he was certain the majority of people were good in this war, and sometimes good people were made to do bad things. Yamate was perhaps the one exception to that rule thus far; even the likes of Krom seemed decent, they just had their hands forced. "I understand that, and... I guess I should apologize, my young friend. It's not right for me to talk about you like I know you," the Yulian admitted, "But... The little I do know makes you seem similar, that's all." In hopes that a change of scenery would help some, Leto had begun to lead Kiton towards the lake, gradually moving away from the thickly populated center. Buildings began to thin, and residential buildings gave way to store houses and commercial districts. "There's a difference between being a bad person, and doing bad things to survive," Leto added certainly, looking down at Kiton with watery eyes, "Do not confuse them my friend. You did what you needed to in order to live, no one can fault you for that. But now you have a chance to leave that life, to live comfortably and be among others. Don't you want that for yourself? I can't think of a more beautiful thing!"

Damn it! Why wasn't this working? They weren't fancy attacks or anything but he put a lot of power into them, yet Krom was blocking and dodging them like nothing! Takeshi was doing this to try and show Shu that this creep wasn't all that, but instead he was making himself look like an ass. Gritting his teeth furiously he threw a pair of quick punches, stopping promptly when both of his hands were grabbed. Damn it all, he was being toyed with wasn't he?! Growling in frustration he tried to jump up and headbutt Krom, getting nothing but air in the process. To add insult to injury he was then used as a ragdoll and thrown to the side, managing to plant the landing and get to his feet. He was bristling with anger by now, his fists trembling as Krom spoke down to him. That was how he fought, he wasn't treating it like some everyday brawl! "So what should I do then, huh?! What?!" Takeshi shouted, throwing a hand towards Krom angrily, "When I trained they didn't teach me much of anything, they said the way I fought was fine! If you're so great, then what am I supposed to do, huh? What makes you right and those other bastards wrong?" He was supposed to show up Krom and make Shu feel better, now he was just making himself furious.

"I just want to know what you think in a fight Shu. Why does leaping like that seem like the way you should attack me?" If there was some false ideas behind it, perhaps Aito could try to dispel those thoughts. Takeshi was in the same boat as Shu it seemed, both could fight and yet there was no discipline behind it. They fought, simply put, like children: throwing limbs everywhere in hopes of hurting their opponent. Plenty of strength yet no refinement, they were in essence a battering ram smashing against a reinforced door, never getting anywhere. Giving the young Saiyan another suggestion, Aito waited patiently for him to make his move. The attacks that followed seemed half-hearted at best, and didn't pack quite as much as a punch as he might have thought. "Hm... Shu? You have your legs too, don't you? And that tail of yours," he observed, blocking one of Shu's attacks before grabbing his hand gently and lowering his arm. Squatting down before Shu then he smiled, waving a hand to tell the boy to relax a little. "You know what? I think you could be really good at sticking to an opponent. You're fast, and you can hit pretty hard, maybe you should focus on staying close to the person you fight?" Did that make sense? It was a little challenging to tell with Shu, he seemed to misunderstand or misconstrue what he was told a lot. "I guess in other words... You're good at climbing, right? And moving around really quickly? Use those to your advantage. If I throw a punch at you, dodge it and try to somehow counter me. Would you like an example of what I mean?"

“I’m happy you think my nightmares are nothing to worry about, you know…” Vegeta sure did know how to make him feel like crap, as usual. It didn’t particularly matter if it was traumatising to see images like that, so long as he didn’t end up committing them. Viral knew he was supposed to not see them as any sort of threat, but that still didn’t mean he wasn’t constantly being tortured by them. He wouldn’t mind rid of them so if he might end up transforming again without proper mental control he wouldn’t end up eating someone he knew. Opting to go with doing some push-ups for now he got down and got started, finding them to be the only exercise he was comfortable doing. Anything else felt like they might break his legs much to his displeasure. Continuing on with them he only glanced to Vegeta at the mention of food, continuing with his push-ups. “Hmm maybe, but if it goes to hell I just want you to start forcing it into me somehow. I hate feeling weak…”

Kiton didn’t know what he was supposed to say to defend himself. While this guy didn’t appear to know about him being one of those people who killed for money, he wasn’t going to pretend it never happened just to make him feel better. The very reason he was here was because he nearly killed an entire species with his selfish desire to survive. Looking to Leto he frowned and shook his head, looking away. “Maybe the less people know about me, the better”, he spoke, shrugging, “I’m not sure people would want me to be wandering around like this if they knew me”. Watching the buildings begin to disappear he frowned when his attention was once again drawn to Leto, frowning at the look he was giving him before he looked away. “I’m sure I do, but I doubt I can get away with not killing. It’s practically in my genes, you know? I’ve never heard of my kind being something…’noble’…”

Krom was confident he was going to be able to teach Takeshi a good lesson on how to fight over this senseless brawling of his. It may had worked in the past, but when up against a competent fighter he wasn’t going to get anywhere. Whatever Takeshi was trying to do wasn’t going to work with him when he wasn’t playing around himself. “Heh! I thought you said you weren’t going to act like a little kid…” Catching his punch again he grinned, throwing Takeshi’s fist away. “Of course they said you fought fine! They’re scared of your father and scared of getting punished for saying something bad about you. You think I care about that? Heh!” Moving into a fighting stance again he watched Takeshi, grinning at him. “To defend yourself against a wild animal, you’ve got to be focused. See how well I defended myself against you? Swinging around all like an idiot…c’mon! Take a stance and get focused because I’m going to start punching your face in if you don’t start listening to me!”

Shu was just doing what he thought was right and was a little upset that he wasn’t doing a very good job at it, seeing how he had little confidence in fighting in the first place. He used to enjoy it, but when it meant he might go berserk he could only worry. Looking up at Aito as his punches were all caught he squeaked when he was grabbed as well, staring at Aito he turned away a little bit when he crouched down in front of him. He didn’t want to use his tail because of the dangers represented to him if he did, then there was the whole grabbing him because he was small and swinging him around. Looking back to Aito with a frown. “Uhhh…I-I think I get it”, he spoke calmly, staring down at himself, “I’m just scared of being grabbed and bad things happen when I’m grabbed. I-I’m okay at dodging things, but please stop grabbing me…”

"Don't misunderstand me, I'm not dismissing your nightmares. I'm dismissing the notion of what you dream of coming true," Vegeta explained, "Father and I are confident at this point we can subdue you if you should change, and the potential for you to change is slim compared to before. Of course there is a risk, even something with a .0001% chance of occurring has a risk, however unlikely." Viral's risk of changing may not be quite as minute as that, but it was close. Though he had not begun to recover really persay he was more stable than before, now able to be out and about all day without any signs of a change coming on. There were no doubt some stimuli which might still prompt a change, and more likely than not some unknowns still too, but Vegeta could say with relative confidence they had the situation down. Watching as Viral continued his push-ups, Vegeta took a seat beside him to simply watch and monitor, folding his hands in his lap as he crossed his legs. "Forcing you to eat won't work, it can make you ill and get an unwanted reaction. We'll begin with small portions and work up from there. Even if it's only a few bites, or one bite, anywhere is a start. Sooner or later you'll feel comfortable enough to have a fully portioned meal again, we just have to work to that point."

"There is a far cry from a thief and a mass murderer my friend. People have done worse just to survive, no one can fault you for that. The only fault here lies with refusing to change your ways now that you have a chance," Leto mused, giving a firm nod of his head before glancing back at Kiton, "You've every resource to better yourself, use them! Become the man you wish to be, not the man you dread. If you don't want to be seen as a monster or a criminal, don't let people see that! Show them a wondrous man instead!" Or... Frost Demon... Did they have genders? Come to think of it he couldn't recall just this second if it had ever been explicitly stated if Kiton was male or female, and his name didn't exactly clear anything up. "So be the first of your kind to be noble! What people did before you doesn't define who you are. You can let everyone else label you and take that label, or you can prove them wrong!" In the midst of their, or rather Leto's impassioned exchange, they had made it to the shores along the lake. The path which Leto had taken them rose up to a cliff overlooking the body of water, and now they could see it in its entirety, as waves rippled along the surface and the sunlight glimmered against the water. "What do you want, Kiton? Do you wish to be a man and decide for yourself, or let others decide for you?"

This jerk was talking down to him and loving every second of it. The worst part though? He was right. All that was being done here was some simple brawling, the likes of which Takeshi had picked up fighting undisciplined soldiers, or using his strength as a Saiyan over human soldiers. You didn't need real technique when you eclipsed people in terms of strength, it only took a punch or two to win. But what if your opponent was nearly equal in power, or greater? And far more disciplined? He loathed to admit it, but Krom was absolutely right here. "They only did it... Because they were afraid of my father...?" he repeated, shoulders sagging as he glanced down at the floor dejectedly. It made sense, they would have given him whatever he wanted or entertained him all to keep on the King's good side. Dammit, he knew he was a good fighter, he just needed to prove it. Closing his eyes for a moment he inhaled deeply to settle himself down, slowly taking a stance and giving Krom a steady glare as he did so. "Fine, bring it on. I'll show you I know how to fight." He'd just have to think things through a bit, rather than just power his way through and throw strikes constantly. Thinking quick... Not exactly his strong suit.

Shu was oddly meek right now, and particularly any time he was grabbed. Just why was that? It seemed like all the fight went out of the boy at those moments, and for obvious reasons losing your will to fight was a problem. When the young Saiyan proclaimed himself he didn't like being grabbed, Aito felt compelled to understand why that was; was there some event before that left him afraid of being held? Or was there another underlying reason for it? "Why are you afraid of being grabbed, Shu? What do you think I'm going to do if I grab you?" he asked, smiling slightly as he squatted down. Slowly reaching out then the doctor placed one hand on Shu's shoulder, letting it simply rest there as he spoke. "Before you say anything, understand that I will not, under any circumstance, hurt you. Even if you change I can help you change back without harming you. I'm your friend, not your enemy."

Viral sure was getting annoyed with how Vegeta constantly gave him statistics as if he was confident in absolutely everything he was supposed to be in charge of. It made him a little annoyed, almost making him want to prove him wrong by fighting them himself. They were only confident they could stop him because they believed him to be too weak to fight them. They should watch themselves, they might end up getting on his bad side if he was ever able to control himself more when he transformed. Continuing his push-ups he was finding he was losing energy, his strength beginning to dwindle. He couldn’t be giving up on this already, he had only just got started. Powering through it he looked to Vegeta, feeling a little annoyed that he wasn’t doing it with him anymore and was instead watching him creepily. Keeping his eyes off him for now he soon grumbled, glancing to Vegeta quickly. “Well last time I ate I lost control and thought I was a dumb cat. If I end up not getting the hang of eating because of that, just force nutrients into me! I don’t care much for illness at this point and you know that…”

Kiton stared at Leto for a moment as he spoke before looking away, wondering if the man was just wasting his breath with some sort of speech or if he was being honest. It was hard to tell with this guy who seemed to yell and cry a lot. Staring at the ground for a moment he soon sighed, looking back to Leto in slight annoyance. “’Wondrous man’? What does that even mean?” This man didn’t cease to confuse him, but it was probably not easy for others around him to feel they could read him like a book. He certainly tried to be positive about absolutely everything, even if it didn’t make sense sometimes. Looking away again he frowned as Leto tried to make him consider changing into something he wasn’t born to be, sighing lightly. “You know, that’s an awful lot of pressure to stick on me when my kind have been around roaming the galaxy for probably longer than most species. That’s a lot of reputation to change just so I feel more comfortable”. Upon arriving at the lake he stared down over the cliff, more wondering why they were up this high over seeing it as anything grand. Looking back to Leto when he spoke he frowned and looked away again. “I wouldn’t know where to begin, but I doubt starting with the rebels would be ideal. I don’t see what the Saiyan Kingdom do wrong to feel any sort of hatred or need to rebel against them. It’d be a case of me looking for trouble and trying to fix it, but isn’t it reckless to go looking for trouble?”

Krom didn’t care if it was Takeshi he was trying to teach, he had a job to do and he was going to do it whether Takeshi wanted to participate in the training or not. Trying to beat up your training partner wasn’t training at all, it was just some sort of silly way to try and show how good you were compared to your partner. It was no wonder Shu was as weak as he was if this was how Takeshi went about teaching the kid. “Of course, but as you can see I am not afraid of your father, so why should I do that?” Waiting for Takeshi to settle down he watched him take a stance, smirking a little before giving a nod. “That’s more like it! You know, once you breathe and focus, you’ll probably hit a lot harder…” Shifting his feet a little he went from a defensive stance to an aggressive stance, smirking. “What you need now is a lesson in etiquette during battle. If I’m swinging wildly, you being calm and steady should help you focus on my attacks and block them successfully, so let’s see how you do…” Moving in he started to imitate Takeshi’s style, throwing his fists with not a lot of strength but enough to knock Takeshi away if he so failed.

Shu didn’t know if Aito was going to tell him off for all of these complaints he was giving or if he was going to give up on trying. He did feel a little sad that he wasn’t able to get anywhere with what he was doing and with Aito getting all close to him he figured he had screwed up somehow. Keeping his gaze low and submissive he tried to move away just a little bit, not really getting anywhere with how Aito was determined to keep him to stay put. Frowning, he looked to his shoulder as Aito placed his hand on it, eventually looking to the ground. “I-I know you’re not, but…i-it’s still hard to think good when trying to fight good”, he spoke, pressing his fingers together, “I’m not good at thinking good when I fight anymore. I used to be good, but I’m not anymore. Bad things in head sometimes! I don’t mean to, but I get all scared and not think good when held by people in fight. I bite and be bad…”

Hm, was Viral angry that he was just sitting here? Vegeta had worked alongside the Beastman before, now he just didn't see a reason to continue doing so. Clearly however that was not in agreement, perhaps he should be exercising alongside Viral now. The grumbling suggested he should do as much, so to help that he stretched out his legs, placing his arms across his chest as he prepared to do a few crunches. "If that happens again then we will find another means of feeding you. It shouldn't though," Vegeta explained as he began his workout, trying to not go too fast, "Your body should be relatively stable even if not healed, so random transformations ought to be an issue of the past now." Ought was the key word there, just because he could claim so with relative certainty didn't mean there was a 0% chance of such a thing occurring. "Tell me... Of your favorite dishes, which would you like? I figure we'll begin with something you really enjoyed, perhaps that will make eating easier," he mused aloud as he continued with his crunches, "I'm sure we'll have the ingredients to make it, or something similar."

"A wondrous man? Why, it's the pinnacle of greatness! A wondrous man is a man that excels in everything he tries! A wondrous man is kind yet strong, understanding yet fierce to his enemies, he has the greatest capacity for both power and for pacifism, THAT is a wondrous man! To know how and when to fight, to defend what's right and support others, there is no greater goal for a man to seek!" At least not in a Yulian's perspective. Glory, strength, the betterment of your fellow man, these were all qualities that the greats of his people shared. Perhaps Kiton's people didn't aspire to the same levels, but Leto couldn't see the alien being any worse off for trying. "It is, it's an enormous reputation! But that just means you'll be all the better once you do revoke it!" the Yulian declared, his eyes twinkling brilliantly as he pointed towards the sky, "You can achieve heights never known to your fellows, and redeem any past misdeeds that haunt you! Anything is possible if you put in the effort, my friend!" And what better place to seek to rise above troubles than this peak? Overlooking the lake, it was a serene sight and as far from the troubles as one might get. Leto had found many vistas like this on Uuonoe, places he loved to go to think and just take in the sights, maybe Kiton could appreciate it the same way. "If you don't wish to fight then do not join us, that's your decision to make," the Yulian said, nodding as he folded his arms, "But you should try to make friends with someone, especially someone with a good name. If you want to shed the animosity and hatred of your people's past, surround yourself with people that will make you look better, not criminals."

"Tch... You'd be afraid if you had to fight him..." He had never even seen his father's true power, yet he was the one person he'd ever met who Takeshi absolutely did not wish to fight. Sure, they talked about taking down the king a lot, but talking and doing were two totally separate things. It was easy to say they would, but was it even possible for them? So this jerk wanted him to try and be more calm, fine. Admittedly it was easy to get overly aggressive and furious for him, that's just who he was as a person; he could dial it back though, especially if it meant showing up Krom. "Just bring it on, quit talking and get to the fighting." Watching the Elite for movements, Takeshi was slightly annoyed when he made an obvious attack, thinking for a second he was trying to patronize him. No doubt about that actually, that was exactly the way he usually fought. Letting Krom come to him, the Prince raised an arm and knocked aside the first punch, leaning back to avoid the second. The third and forth he simply leaned to either side to evade, and the fifth he deflected by hitting Krom's arm away with his palm. Figuring he should probably try to retaliate at some point, Takeshi knocked the sixth away in a similar manner before immediately spinning on his heel, trying to slam his fist and forearm into Krom's chest and knock him away.

Shu was such a nervous child, was he afraid of being reprimanded? Or even touched? He seemed to hate being grabbed, suggesting there had been something in the past to instill a fear in him. Maybe if he could figure out precisely what said fear was he could help control it, or at the very least subdue it so it wasn't so debilitating. "What are those bad things, Shu? Anything you want to talk about?" Aito asked, smiling kindly as he lowered himself into a sitting position, "We can train in a bit, how about we talk now? Whatever is on your mind now, feel free to share it with me. I'm a doctor, perhaps I can help you?" If he couldn't Vegeta may be able to, or one of the many doctors here on Uuonoe. Before any of that could be done however they needed to know what the problem was, and only then could they consider treating it. Gesturing for Shu to be seated as well, Aito reached into the pocket of his shirt and pulled out a toothpick, sticking it between his teeth and rolling it a bit habitually. "Don't worry about being judged or told you're wrong or bad, that's not what I'll be doing. I can help you if there's something you need help with, but only if you tell me what that is, okay?"

Viral was fair annoyed until Vegeta finally decided to join him again with his quest to not feel observed all the time. He didn’t want him watching over him while he did all this. Sighing as he went back to trying hard with this push-up stuff again he stared down at the floor, wondering just when his mind might cave in after eating. He was only stable because of that medicine he got and even then that wasn’t exactly making a massive difference to his overall health. There was always the change that the medicine would fail, but that would be due to his own body resisting the medicine’s effects or his genes not accepting the temporary fix. Being given the option for a selective meal he groaned, finding the question to give him more confusion than he thought. “Hmmm…I don’t know what the food is like here. I only ever had that fish from here”, he mumbled, disliking the confusion he was feeling over simply choices. He should’ve been able to figure something as simple as food out. “Anything that used to be moving. I don’t care what it is…”

Kiton stared at Leto as he blabbed on as if reading from some sort of weird text, somewhat disliking how much emphasis he was putting into his words and what he was trying to convey with it. The question wasn’t even one he was supposed to focus on so much. Letting out a groan he turned away, staring down at the lake before sitting down on the cliff edge. “You certainly have a lot of faith in your own interpretations…” Disliking how much pressure the man was putting on him he did try to ignore the man a little, just not enjoying how he was being spoken down to like the entire weight of his kind’s history was now on his shoulders. It was too overwhelming and the way Leto was speaking didn’t give him much confidence. “Do you have any idea on what you’re telling me to do? I can’t do that…it’s way too much! Besides, I want to become powerful and unlock my true self and that usually involves fighting a lot…” He figured he would rather fight and defeat a lot of enemies over throwing flowers and being nice to people, it was more natural for him. “Hm what, you mean like those guys who picked me up? They certainly appear happier forgetting I exist. I doubt they know I’m being held against my will”.

“Heh! Afraid? If I had to fight him I would be proud to know I am doing it in the name of the Saiyan race! I would be proud to fight for my people!” There was no use in being afraid over a man who at worse would kill him and he didn’t exactly fear death. Going in after Takeshi he copied the way he would fight, throwing his fists around carelessly and not particularly looking like he had much focus other than fighting in a street brawl. Making sure to watch what Takeshi was doing as well he grinned when Takeshi was managing to avoid his attacks, watching as Takeshi decided to take the offensive manner too. While he wasn’t in a position to say he couldn’t hit away Takeshi’s attack he did not, seeing how he was copying Takeshi. Getting hit by his fist he stumbled back, smirking. “See how easy that was? You have no defences!” he spoke before getting ready again, “You see the mistakes you can make?” Going in once more he threw his fists down again, looking like he was trying to get all close and personal just like Takeshi would when he was frustrated.

Shu didn’t know if he was in trouble for what he was saying, but with how Aito was talking to him it was easy to feel confused. He was a little nervous around the man, but he was unfamiliar with him and whether he was actually angry at him for mentioning this stuff as a problem. Groaning lightly he stared down, feeling worried that he was saying stuff he probably shouldn’t without his brother listening. “I don’t know if it can be helped. I’m just a bad monkey…” Looking to Aito when he was told to sit down he slowly moved closer before he sat on the ground, crossing his legs close to himself. He didn’t know where to start with this talking stuff, he wasn’t particularly used to talking it over with a man who was still a stranger. Staring at the toothpick as Aito stuck it in his mouth his attention soon went back to his speaking, frowning as he nodded and looked down again. “I don’t know what you can help me with”, he sighed, feeling unsure about this, “I just-…I just end up being bad when I fight. I do things I shouldn’t…l-like I bite and scratch sometimes, but don’t mean to. I used to be good, but…but I’m not good anymore. I get scared and bad things happen…”

Would Viral simply prefer if he left the room? Maybe not, then he may worry that, unsupervised, something may go wrong. Then again it seemed to be that supervision that made him uneasy in the first place. And did he suppose that by doing a simple exercise he wasn't being watched? Vegeta could easily jeep an eye on the Beastman as he did crunches, it wasn't a task that demanded all of his focus. "Perhaps we can find fish again then. Though... As I remember it, they had killed that massive fish hadn't they?" he mused aloud, pausing in his crunches as he glanced at Viral, "We can head to the market after this then, we'll find some fish for you. It won't be the same kind obviously, but with luck it'll still be good." Either that or they could get food from some restaurant, provided any where open. With the state that the Capitol was in right now it was likely businesses were closed for a while, save for ones that sold essentials. Resuming his exercise, Vegeta wondered if there was some potential of getting food delivered here too, seeing as Viral was hesitant to be around other people. Did any place here deliver food like that though? Perhaps they could ask the rebels for some help in that regard, save them the trouble of being out and about.

Why did Kiton keep giving him strange looks? Leto was very passionate about this, or most anything for that matter, everyone knew that. Perhaps not the Frost Demon though, albeit he'd learn rather fast that this was just how the Yulian was. It wasn't as though he was trying to say anything demeaning, his intent was to put up Kiton and make him feel better about himself. "I do know what I'm asking, and I know it's a lot. But nothing in life is gained without effort! Even if you wish to become powerful as you say, to reach your potential, you'll have to put in immeasurable amounts of work! Why then is it so wrong to think that effort can be focused somewhere else? You can gain strength AND become a better man for it, they don't have to be exclusive." You didn't have to forgo having a conscience or being compassionate for power, Korian was an example of that. Perhaps an even better example was this doctor who traveled with the Princes, a man whom he knew very little of but heard great things. He was a stranger to Uuonoe, and yet he'd been seen around the city helping and tending to wounded, despite having no reason to. THAT was his idea of a true man! "You speak of the Princes? They are busy my friend, but I am certain they have not forgotten you! Come, let's go see them now, I'll prove it to you!"

"So you'd just die, because it's for your people?" Takeshi asked, scoffing before giving a shake of his head, "That's stupid. What good are you when you're dead?" Was Krom seriously just an idiot? If he died then his whole bravado about fighting for his world was worth nothing. Besides, fighting someone like the King wasn't something you just casually did, he could seriously kill you if he wanted to. Whatever, if that was how he was going to be then there'd be no loss of sleep over it. Watching as the Elite made some very blatant and obvious moves, Takeshi deflected them easily enough before answering with a strike of his own, annoyed that Krom was suggesting it was like him fighting. "I have defenses, don't be stupid," he retorted, dodging the downward strike by jumping to the side. Leaning his body then in the opposite direction he jumped up and aimed for Krom's back, seeing as he was now partly bent over, trying to kick him down and into the floor.

Aito was determined now to get Shu talking, keen on figuring out what had the young boy so on edge and uneasy. "Any problem can be helped, you just need to put some effort into it. And we're doing that right now by talking about it," the doctor explained, still smiling as he waved Shu to sit down. Despite trying to come across as friendly it didn't appear like the boy was relaxing any, still meek and reserved as he didn't even look up to meet his gaze. "So you bite and scratch... Why is that? What about fighting makes you afraid now?" From the way he spoke of it, this sounded like something had changed recently to instigate these fears. But what? It had to be something fairly powerful, something perhaps over the course of a long period. With as little knowledge as he had about Shu right now he couldn't even make a guess, hopefully that could be fixed. "Shu? Can you tell me what it is about fighting that scares you? Do you worry about being hurt when fighting? Or hurting someone else...?" Aito asked, keeping his voice low and soft, "Or is there something else?"

Viral was starting to get tired of doing push ups, but it was probably because his arms were getting sore and he was building up a pretty big headache due to hypertension. While it wasn’t something he was used to getting he still knew it was a bad idea to carry on with a building headache. Giving his head a quick shake he soon groaned and gradually stopped, laying down on his front for a moment before slowly sitting up with his hand on his head. He personally didn’t like the sound of going where there was people, not like he was afraid of being in a crowd or anything. He didn’t want to end up having to worry about being set off in the crowd and possibly end up frightening some people. “I don’t think I’m ready to be in a crowd anytime soon. If there’s a need for getting food, I’m sure someone else can go and get some…” he spoke before slowly standing up, feeling about ready to try start running again, “You have to remember the medicine you gave me is what made it bearable last time and even then I can barely remember what happened…”

Kiton didn’t think being great was possible when you wanted to both be powerful and noble, seeing how strength was gained through the number of people you could defeat. There was a lot he was, but ‘wonderful’ was something he definitely was not. He was sure he couldn’t be someone who was a good being who was fully capable of killing, or rather he hadn’t heard of someone like that before. Everyone who was strong and powerful that he knew of used their power to advance their own goals and none for the good of those around them. It was something that was probably not unusual to people of power so it was something he had generally learned was normal. “I’ve never heard of someone in power who doesn’t use it to control others or to get their own way in life. Isn’t that something you can recognise too considering you’re fighting a way against one of these people?” Feeling a little lost right now he was confused when the man suggested going to see the ones who took him to the rebels, frowning as he stood up again. “’See them now’? Do you even know where they are?”

Krom didn’t think Takeshi would understand such a notion, seeing how selfish he often was. “I would go with the knowledge I tried with all my might to defend them, even if it might not be enough!” he spoke before scoffing, “Like there’s anything else to live for in my position! Maybe that will put you off ever wanting to be a soldier in your life!” Despite getting hit by Takeshi he was pretty alright, going straight back into combat Takeshi using some more of his moves. All of the moves he was using was entirely Takeshi’s that he had picked up in that short little brawl, moving in close like Takeshi did last time. Throwing out some strikes he grunted when Takeshi had jumped and kicked him in the back, stumbling forward before turning around. “You see how easy it is yet? Fighting like you’re on the street is hardly going to do you any good! The moment you start focusing and using defence with your offense you start catching out your opponent!”

Shu was going to be uneasy the longer he tried to talk like this, finding great dislike in talking about himself. He had so many worries stemming from the thought that he was not going to recover from what he was going through, but he also worried about what people thought about him too. He didn’t want to disappoint people when everything he was worrying about was entirely trivial. Pressing his fingers together he frowned when asked about his fears, keeping his gaze low and avoiding Aito’s. Not really feeling willing to talk about it he groaned and lowered his head some more, finding it harder to talk about it rather than not wanting to. It was a difficult subject to tackle and he didn’t want to end up making himself feel worse. Raising his shoulders as the questions just kept coming he soon let out a groan, looking a little distressed before he simply closed his eyes and shook his head quickly. “I-I’m scared that I am losing control of self!” he squeaked before moving his hands to his face, his tail wrapping around himself, “I keep changing and that’s bad, but it getting worse and-…I-I don’t know how to make it better. I don’t know why I do and I-I’m not like other Saiyans, I’m not like my brother either. Takeshi not have the problems, Takeshi not get hairy, Takeshi not starting to feel funny and finding things that make Takeshi not like monster…like Shu start become monster little by little because fighting all time…”

Vegeta had stopped his crunches well before Viral had ceased his exercise, simply staring off into space as to give the Beastman privacy. When he did finally finish, the Saiyan nodded in understanding at his decision, figuring avoiding crowds for the time being was the better choice as well. "Have someone else bring your food...? Well I suppose I can do that, if you'd prefer to remain here," he responded, rising to his feet and moving to the console again, "We'll be forgoing the medicine this time if it can be helped, you should get used to eating without that." He didn't have it on him either, it was back in his lab with most of the other medicines, and no one was available or qualified to handle it; asking some random rebel to fetch it for him would probably result in getting the wrong sort, and the last thing he wanted was an anxiety medicine for a hormone supplement. "Excuse me? I've a request to make," Vegeta began, speaking into the panel, "Could we get some well done steak, and well done fish? It doesn't matter what kinds, any will do. And... Make the portions small? If you could bring it to the Training Hall 5 that would be fantastic as well, thank you." It was a lot to just go and drop on someone, yet they agreed to the request and told them they would be down with it shortly. Satisfied, Vegeta nodded to himself and rejoined Viral, smiling slightly as he gestured up to the clock, "20 minutes, then you'll have your meal. Shall we continue exercising until then?"

"Some people use power to take advantage of others, but not everyone. I was one of the strongest on my world, yet I never made anyone do my bidding," Leto said with a nod, glancing down at Kiton with a frown, "Some do, like the King. But they're the minority, most people with power use it for good. Don't believe me? Then tell me... If everyone with power used it for evil, why isn't the galaxy in a total state of chaos? Could it be, perhaps, the majority of people with power are all decent?" Power didn't demand you were evil, nor did it demand you take control with it. There were plenty of people who were strong who just as soon would live peacefully on their own accord; the Princes came to mind, they seemed to want nothing to do with all this fighting despite easily being some of the most powerful fighters around. Smiling knowingly at Kiton's question about the others, Leto gave a flex before nodding, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "But of course! I was supposed to give them privacy, but... It seems like you wish to see them! Far be it from me to deny you that much!" Reaching down abruptly he scooped up Kiton in his massive hands, setting him on one shoulder before beginning to sprint along back towards the city. "Come, we shall visit them immediately!"

What a moron, there was always something worth living for. Even when he'd had no one with him Takeshi hadn't wanted to die, Krom was just being an idiot about this. Weaving in and out of his blows, he was ashamed to admit that he saw what Krom was trying to teach him here; his style of fighting as a brawler wasn't going to cut it anymore, not against disciplined warriors. But it was just so natural for him to fight that way, could he really do this all the time and make it work? After managing to land a kick on the Elite, he watched as Krom stumbled away before scoffing as he was almost complimented, placing one hand on his hip and looking away. "Whatever, you're fighting in a way I know how to counter. This means absolutely nothing if I can't make it work otherwise," he retorted, glancing back at Krom before easing into a stance again, "This time fight me like you normally would. I can still beat you, even if I'm fighting a different way." If he did though, wasn't that just proving the guy's point? He hated validating what Krom was telling him, but then he hated seeing the guy smug even more. Maybe if he could just get one good hit in then the jerk wouldn't be so damned cheery.

"I see... So it's changing that you worry about, is that it? You're afraid of transforming and hurting someone?" That certainly was a problem, particularly due to the fact Shu couldn't control himself. So where to begin then? Do they try to handle his transformations, or try to make him able to control himself once changed? It made sense to do the former first, at least then they wouldn't have to be concerned about sudden changes. "I can help you with that, if you'll allow me to. Vegeta used to have the same problem, and while we removed his tail to fix it, we won't have to do that for you. There are ways to control the changes," the doctor explained, smiling kindly as he spoke, "And once we do that, I can help you learn to control yourself if you do change. I will say right now it won't be easy, and there may be times where you even panic or change, but know that you're in good hands, nothing will happen by it. Will you allow me to help you, Shu?"

Viral knew it would be a very bad idea to have him around other people, especially if someone accidentally sneaked up on him. He didn’t know if he was going to end up having to have his hands cuffed for something like that just to stop him from trying to claw people apart. He didn’t mean to do such things, but after nearly killing everyone a few times he couldn’t help but feel cautious in the end. Looking to Vegeta who was getting up himself he stared at him for a moment, watching his go off and make a call for this food. Suddenly the thought of food was making him feel rather nervous, like he was going to have a terribly bad time with the food and not be able to digest it very well in the end. It was worrying when he was supposed to be a natural born killer and yet here he was freaking out over a little bit of cooked meat. Slowly rubbing his head he glanced to Vegeta once he was done, looking away quickly before sighing. “Fine, okay. Running in normal gravity doesn’t sound like something that’ll actually help, but twice gravity would just end in the same result as before. What do you want me to do…”

Kiton wasn’t too impressed by Leto’s claims considering it was said he was on the other side of the war not that long ago so his point didn’t really make all that much sense to announce. There was always going to be strong people who wanted more power and if that guy had been on the apparent bad side before then it was probably safe to say he could’ve easily been one of those terrible people if he wasn’t such a big wimp as well. “I thought it was in chaos because of the war…” Not particularly finding the point to be very valid he kept to himself mostly for now, sighing lightly as he turned away. Not seeing any reason to go anywhere if others were busy he stayed put, going back to looking at the lake before he was suddenly lifted up by the man, struggling momentarily before having to hold on as the man was suddenly running with him. “Woah what’s the big deal?? We’re not going to find them, you know!”

Krom saw no reason to try and teach Takeshi what being a soldier was all about, seeing how he was probably more interested in beating them up and not so much what they fought for or why they thought with little care for themselves. He would probably have a harder time beating them up if he even thought that they might be real people too who had nothing to lose because they were given nothing else. Giving Takeshi a moment to see if he had learned anything he sighed when he decided to just make it worse for himself he shrugged lightly, moving back into a ready position. “So you know how to counter your own moves? That’s a pretty silly thing to learn, don’t you think?” he spoke before grinning, “Knowing all the flaws of your fighting style? Now, howabout you learn from all of that and come at me again as you are now? I want to see if you can hit me properly…”

Shu didn’t know if he was being understood or if anybody would get him, seeing how much everybody tried to but ultimately ended up failing and presuming it was something very minor that could be helped otherwise. Slowly looking back to Aito to see if he was understanding he soon quickly looked away when it seemed he wasn’t, only taking in what he half worried about. It seemed pretty normal that he was constantly being misunderstood, like what people thought he was afraid of was simply hurting someone with his changing. Taking hold of his tail as Aito spoke he stared at the ground, his shoulders raised as he eventually looked back to Aito. “I-It’s not-…it’s not just that part that makes me scared…” he spoke lowly, looking away again, “It me not-…it me but soon not me. I get different all the time a-and what if changes making me more different? I no look the same from when I was before! Shu different! A-And maybe Shu becoming monster…you see? See what Shu mean? Not be self! Be bad self, but always bad. Not be like brother anymore…”

Hopefully the rebels didn't mind playing room service too much. They had been told they would be accommodated in any way possible though, so by that logic this wasn't stepping out of bounds, right? Vegeta supposed not, and whether it was or wasn't he'd made the request, they would fulfill it, like it or not. Certain of that, he returned to the Beastman's side and glanced at him thoughtfully, wondering about what exercise they should attempt next. "Well you don't wish to run... Though we should work on your legs some. Let me see... Walking lunges would be a good exercise. A little more strenuous than a regular lunge, targets the cardiovascular system and the majority of your lower body, and fairly easy to pull off. I'll demonstrate, then see if you feel comfortable enough doing them." They should work with the shorter distance in the room as well, no point in trying to cover the entire gym. To the shorter end then, Vegeta pressed his back up against the wall before executing a lunge, standing up afterwards and repeating the motion with the opposite leg, standing up again and going through the process. He continued this until he had reached Viral, standing upright and tidying up his shirt as it had come disheveled. "There, simple yet effective, I already feel a little burn from that. Shall we try making it across once?"

"Well that's true I suppose... But the galaxy has been in chaos a lot over the years, yet it never collapsed. That's because the people with power, most of the people with power, fought to keep it safe. You must know something about them." There were a group of warriors before any of them, fighting to maintain stability and peace in the universe. Legends of them varied from world to world and Leto himself didn't even have any names, yet he idolized that group. It was what he had hoped to become under the Saiyan army, and now even more so in the rebels; a beacon of hope, fighting for all things good and righteous. Clearly Kiton wasn't going to see eye to eye with him just yet, but in time and with some proof maybe he would. There was somewhere they might get proof as well, and that was from the Princes. Kiton had wanted to see them, this would work perfectly! Without any warning, the Yulian scooped up Kiton and began racing back through the city, eager to kindle some sort of spark with this meeting. "Of course we will my friend, I know where they are!" Leto declared with certainty, glancing up as his eyes gleamed brilliantly, "Trust me, I shall get you to them!" Picking up speed to the point that they left a dust trail, Leto continued on towards their location.

So Krom showed him how he usually fought, what about it? He knew it wasn't perfect, but then no one's style of fighting was right? Maybe he lacked the discipline that soldiers did, or the training that most warriors had, yet he could still fight, he had been all along. Now Krom wanted him to fight again, and he probably had to do so with this new way he'd supposedly picked up. So he knew how to counter someone, that didn't make engaging a person any different though. "Fine, but you asked for it..." Taking a stance, Takeshi looked Krom over to see if he had any weaknesses, trying to find a hole in the way he stood. He wasn't trained well enough for this, he couldn't really pick out anything. Figuring to hell with it then he ran right in again, fading in and out as he weaved to the left and right, finally appearing directly in front of Krom and swinging his right leg up, trying to nail the guy in the side. Before it struck though he'd pull it back and try punching the Elite in the gut, hoping he'd be too busy trying to block the kick to compensate for the punch.

"And the changes are getting worse...? Or you're changing because you've transformed so much..." Shu probably wasn't always this hairy, was he? It was hard to say, the two of them had never met up until recently. A little more hair though and Shu would resemble a proper monkey, something that Saiyans never quite did unless they had transformed. "So let me see if I understand properly... You change, often against your will, and you're afraid of that. When you do change you lose control and don't know how to get it back, that frightens you too. On top of that, changing is causing your body to look different, and that fact as well makes you uneasy. Couple all of that with your fear of being held by someone, and you've certainly got a list of problems to sort..." Aito mused, frowning as he rubbed at his chin, "A list... But not incurable. Learning to cope with an Oozaru transformation isn't the hardest thing to accomplish, I had to learn with mine, and the same practice should work. Your body becoming hairier is likely due to hormones, er... Your body produces these things that make your body grow hair, or build more muscle, things like that. Does that sound right to you?" If that was his case, anxiety and hormones, then treatment was actually quite easily done.

Viral was certainly not looking forward to continuing this workout, even if he was willing to do it. He didn’t really enjoy working out even if it was for his own good and health, seeing how he was not one to work out to try and build up muscle. He didn’t want to end up looking like a Saiyan, but his muscles had very obvious wasted away and he needed it; however, still didn’t mean he didn’t hate it. He just felt embarrassed for having to work out in the first place, seeing how he never had to in the past to keep fit. Not particularly wanting to think of anymore exercises he frowned when Vegeta had an idea for something, frowning at the mention of lunges. If there was anything that was more embarrassing than failing to run it was doing lunges. Sighing heavily he watched Vegeta make the lunges, lazily staring at him before scratching at his side as he finished up. “Great. Just once because that looks damn stupid…” he muttered before eventually getting started, slowly at first before getting comfortable with going just a little faster to get it over faster.

Kiton didn’t understand why it was such a big deal that he felt that way, seeing how he had been around people of power probably more than this guy and he was in an army. There was a lot he understood about power and why it was a good thing to have, but he seemed to be in the minority when thinking it was just another part of having a lot of power. They tended to have evil intentions but that was because they knew they could actively beat up lesser beings and not suffer the consequences when nobody could do anything to stop them. Despite his questioning, Leto seemed quite happy to change the subject and have them running for the others who might as well had forgotten about him by now. He didn’t know why the guy was doing this and not just flying, it was rather frightening and he could barely hold on. “This really isn’t necessary, you know! This is just crazy! It’s going to be super awkward and they’re obviously busy, you know!”

Krom was ready to see whether Takeshi had learned anything from that, but knowing him he probably didn’t even care that his fighting style was completely flawed and could use some more defences even if he was on the defence. It was pretty silly, but if Takeshi had learned anything then maybe he could show it here. Watching Takeshi he waited for him to get started, but of course without learning much about anything he went in the same way he did before, trying to use speed when there was no need for it. The idiot should realise by now that it was obvious he was going to get all close, but what was even more stupid was Takeshi just went right up in front of him. Raising an arm to block the kick he gave Takeshi an annoyed expression, watching as he went all close and personal again to punch him a little lower this time. Catching his fist with his other hand before it could touch his gut he gave Takeshi a glare, holding his fist tight. “Do you learn nothing??” he snapped before throwing Takeshi to the side, “You are still doing the same thing! What’s with this disappearing crap, huh?? You really think they’re not going to feel your energy before you approach them? You’ll have your leg ripped right off!”

Shu didn’t even know if he was explaining it right this time but he was still trying, although he was pretty close to giving up at this point. He didn’t know what was wrong with him or why these things were happening, but he didn’t want to keep going like this if every fight was going to end with the same thing happening and everything starting to collapse for him mentally. It was hard enough with everything else going on, but this was just the pinnacle of it all. Keeping his shoulders raised he stared at the ground, his knees close and his tail wrapped around himself as Aito went over what he tried to explain. It sounded like he was getting it, but he was also making him sound a little off his head for having so many problems at the same time. Slowly sinking down to the ground he slowly looked up to Aito, frowning when he gave him a weird reason for all of this happening to him. He didn’t really seem to build muscle and yet the other things were happening to him that was only causing him great concern. “T-Things like that…? So it’s normal?” he questioned him before looking away again, “It not feel normal. I don’t want to be different, I just want to be normal. Don’t want to be a weird creature! Shu no feel great because worry of badness making Shu worse! If Shu really hurt friend bad, Shu will have no more friends…”

They might as well remain active until the food got here, which meant coming up with more exercises. Vegeta had to think it over for a moment, wanting a lower body exercise despite running no longer being an option to them; maybe they didn't have to run, wouldn't lunges work? For added exertion he proposed they move across the room doing them, hoping the Beastman would be on board with the idea. Just to make certain that it was understood he gave a quick display, inciting a rather skeptical and less-than-favorable response out of Viral. "And who's judging? I'm not, and we're the only two in the room. Who cares how it makes you look? We aren't doing this to superimpose ourselves or look amazing," Vegeta replied, standing upright and running a hand back through his hair, "Just give it a try, see how it feels. We can always do something else if this is too uncomfortable." Which it might well be given how Viral's legs were feeling moments ago. If this was still the case then they would simply work on something else, no problem. Maybe they could reserve a leg exercise for after the meal, or once he'd regained a bit of strength in general.

"Don't be absurd my friend! This is what we must do! What YOU must do!" Leto retorted, charging headlong down the streets and leaving a trail of dust in his wake, "I will show you that our comrades have not forgotten you! I will prove they are good of heart and will not treat you poorly!" He must, this was an absolute necessity. Kiton could not be allowed to go on thinking he was an afterthought, a stowaway picked up by the Princes and their group. So maybe he wasn't involved in training right now, but that could change, he could always join them after the fact. With the rubble of a building quickly coming up, Leto's eyes twinkled knowingly before he slammed down a leg into the ground, tearing up concrete then leaping high into the air with a shout of effort, soaring well over the rubble before slamming back down on the far side, not skipping a beat in his run. "A man must help those in need, and you my friend, are in need! I shall do everything in my power to see you there safely!" And there was the building coming up, they were nearly there!

Krom might know what he was talking about but that didn't make it any easier to listen to him. If you didn't care at all for your instructor then they might as well be speaking to a wall, and evidently he'd done just that. Prompted to try attacking again, Takeshi charged right on in, using the same old tricks he'd always used, dashing in and out before trying to throw an attack. No surprise that he was caught, but he wasn't blaming himself for his shortcoming of course, it wasn't his fault. Meeting Krom's glare, the Prince growled when he was thrown aside, landing with a bit of a stumble before gesturing at the Elite angrily. "They're going to feel my energy no matter what I do! My energy just doesn't vanish you lumbering buffoon!" he shouted back, getting frustrated as he slammed his foot into the ground, "You're supposed to be training me! Maybe instead of just shouting, try teaching me something! I know how to counter an attack already, teach me something new!" How could he be to blame here? Besides he was being made to make the first move, how was he supposed to do that without closing the gap and throwing a strike?

"Well... To a degree it's normal, yes. Your condition is a little irregular, but we can still fix it," Aito continued, "If you want to be 'normal' as you say then I can help you. But before we do anything, you're going to have to learn to forgive yourself for what you did. It was out of your control, attacking a friend doesn't seem like something you might normally do. I'm sure they see it the same way and don't like you any less for it." The pains of being a Saiyan, he supposed; unpredictability, constant struggles, threats from all sides, it came with the territory of being one of their kind. While Shu's situation was certainly unique it wasn't as though no Saiyan had ever struggled with changing before, or never had some kind of phobia or fear. So Shu happened to be claustrophobic, if that was indeed the source of his fear of being held, which meant they could slowly condition him to be more accepting of tight spaces. "We can practice on keeping you calm, to prevent you changing. I have medicine that can make all of that extra hair go away, and after that I can help you learn to control yourself when you do change. It's going to be a lot of work, but we can..."

Aito trailed off there as he felt a pair of energies suddenly approaching, furrowing his brow and glancing over towards the door. One he vaguely recognized, the other not so much, and both were heading this way at a very high speed. Slowly getting to his feet he wondered who it might be, his eyes widening slightly when there was a sudden, thunderous crash against one of the doors, the outline of a massive man showing through. Then, in almost a comical fashion the door fell down with a clatter, and Leto soon thereafter, a rather razzled Kiton ending up sitting on his back. "Well... Hello there Kiton!" he greeted casually, smiling and waving as though nothing had happened.

Viral really didn’t like doing lunges but if Vegeta wanted him to do them then he was going to have to do them. They just looked so stupid and like he was trying to show off, even though he was trying to do none of the sort. It was probably something he would see Takeshi do to show off rather than something for exercising. “Well it doesn’t feel right to do! I’m not like that, it’s out of character for me…” Going in with his lunges he didn’t find it to be too bad at first, but gradually after a few he was feeling particularly worn down. It was as if his legs were already having enough, but surely he couldn’t give up that easily. Growling lowly he went forward in a few more, but sure enough he fell off his stance, landing on his knee. Ending with a growl he moved to stand up again, his knees wobbling around for a moment before he sighed, bending down to hold his knees. “The hell is wrong with me…”

Kiton didn’t know how he was supposed to stop this guy, it was completely against the plans that had been set so he could not end up in trouble. He was probably going to get in trouble for manipulating this guy or something and having him end up in an even worse prison that would guarantee his incarceration. This guy was obviously very gullible, but it could hardly count as his fault specifically for this happening. He tried to stop the guy but he was just racing on ahead with him while showing no signs of stopping. “You’re crazy! What the hell is wrong with just not caring??” Yelping when the man suddenly decided to spring up into the air he couldn’t help but hold on for dear life, but his nerves only gave him the ability to hold onto the stuffed animal in fear. He was probably going to die from this and that was the sad part, the not so sad part was people were going to remember him as the Frost Demon who died from fall damage.

Krom was a little sick of Takeshi trying to do the same thing over and over, it was even worse when the guy wouldn’t even recognise it as being a problem when he was countered most of the time. He did it during their fights too and he was just as bad as his brother for leaping in like that at the start of fights. It wasn’t going to get them anywhere and he was only getting annoyed each time the guy tried it. Throwing him away he turned to face him again, staring at him in annoyance as he only shouted back. “Can you not think for yourself?? If I am catching you every single time you do that, you’d think ‘I should try something else’, right?? You’re just like your brother with that jumping around!” he barked right back before grunting, scratching his chin, “Maybe that’s where he learned it, except he can’t do the extreme speed aspect of it yet…”

Shu didn’t think he was normal, he was the oddest one in the group. Even T’charrl knew how to be civilised with his unpredictable changes. The problem was they weren’t his fault, T’charrl wasn’t born the way he is now. Shu didn’t know if what happened to him was natural or some form of strange defect that made him less of a Saiyan, even if everyone else told him it was perfectly natural for this to happen. Sighing lightly he kept his eyes off Aito, not really feeling like he could forgive himself even when told. It wasn’t something easy to do when he knew it was preventable. “But…it a bad thing. I did a bad thing…it’s not easy to forgive when I did a bad thing…” he squeaked, slowly sitting up again. While he didn’t really want to go on medicine he saw no way around it if he was going to get better, feeling he was going to end up being a different person because of it. He saw what happened to others when they went on medicine and it did absolutely everything to scare him. Keeping his head low, he yelped in fright when there was a sudden crash, holding his head before he ran behind Aito. He didn’t know what was happening but he was terrified that it even happened so unexpectedly.

While Krom was already angry at Takeshi for being a complete idiot, the sudden approaching energies ending in a crash easily made him even more annoyed than he was supposed to be. Turning around immediately he stared at the sight, noticing the obviously brightly coloured Frost Demon sitting on an ex-soldier’s back. “What? A Frost Demon??” He wouldn’t even think for a second that they would have a Frost Demon, even worse was Aito greeting it so casually. “Why the hell do you have a Frost Demon here? Not to mention this deserter...this is a private session!”

Viral went ahead and performed the lunges, albeit with no small degree of reluctance. It was both clear that he was struggling with the exercise and he had little desire to do it, yet he powered through a fair number before finally coming to a stop. "Then we'll only do it this one time if it's so out of character, no sense in forcing exercises on you," Vegeta responded, watching as Viral struggled to rise again only to collapse under his own weight. Placing his hands on his hips he let out a sigh, walking over and looking down at the Beastman carefully. "Your muscles suffered from atrophy, and aside from the occasional fight, which isn't exactly an exercise, we haven't been focusing on keeping you fit. Naturally your muscles are a bit weaker than before, so it will take less to tire you out," he explained, smiling slightly after the fact, "That isn't a problem though, you'll begin to rebuild muscle mass quickly enough, especially if we give you vitamins and nutrients in the form of foods and supplements to help you along the way. You should consider yourself lucky you're even mobile, given how dire your condition was at a few points. It can only be up from here."

"You made a mistake Shu, making mistakes doesn't make someone a bad person," Aito explained carefully, "You're fine, shall we say, 99% of the time. It's only when you change that something might happen, and no one faults you for changing against your will. And... Perhaps people did not forgive you right away, but they will. Sometimes forgiveness takes a little while, for wounds to heal or what have you." Well this boy certainly garnered plenty of sympathy, and it was no wonder why; Shu was in every since an innocent little boy, dealt a rather lousy hand and being forced to try and deal with it himself. Were the others neglecting him? Doubtful, but when you didn't know how to help even the most minute problems they could quickly become overwhelming. A good thing then perhaps people of expertise were now available to Shu, hopefully he could get the help he needed. They had been getting somewhere at least with this, but their conversation was going to be put momentarily on hold. Feeling two energies approaching the building quickly, Aito had stood up and waited for whoever it might be to enter, not having expected the door to be knocked down courtesy of Leto's head. Blinking once in surprise he smiled slightly amused, giving a casual wave and greeting to Kiton. "Well... Hello there Kiton!"

Takeshi was quickly reaching the end of his patience, not able to grasp at exactly what Krom was saying. "So what, just run at you and don't do anything? Don't try to trick you?" he snapped back, throwing his hands up in the air before folding his arms furiously, "Great plan pops, I'm sure charging right at you in plain view is going to do me SO much better!" Scowling when Shu was brought up again, he was about to snap at Krom again until a thunderous bang took everyone's attention to one of the far doors. Furrowing his brow in confusion he watched as the door collapsed to the ground, Leto's hulking frame following soon after and Kiton ending up on his back. Whatever just happened left the alien looking awfully shocked and afraid, weird. Leave it to Krom to totally sully things too, what with his yelling and throwing around accusations. "Hey, come off it you ass! Kiton's one of us, that's all there is to it! None of your business who we make friends with," Takeshi retorted, glaring up at the Elite, "And Leto's one of us too! Besides, this is a REBEL building, and he's a REBEL. He has more right to be here than even you do!"

"Eheh... He's not completely wrong there Krom," Aito laughed, smiling slightly as he itched at his cheek, "But still... Takeshi, we do owe him an apology. He's out here training you and we've been given an unexpected guest, so... Sorry about that Krom." Sheesh, that kid was such a pain and a hothead, he just wanted to pick a fight with everything didn't he? At least Shu was easier in that regard, the younger boy seemed to want to do anything but fight. Speaking of, Shu had gotten a fright over that entrance hadn't he? Glancing back he smiled reassuringly, reaching down and placing a hand on Shu's head before looking over at Kiton and Leto. The latter was probably out for the moment, so he'd just have to question the Frost Demon then. "Kiton? Er... Is there something we can help you with?"

Viral didn’t understand how he had gotten so weak, but there was always going to be that slight doubt that he was getting any stronger over the days anyway. He was not feeling terribly good and was certainly trying hard to feel better, but whenever he tried he found himself eventually failing and slowly falling into deterioration again. Picking himself up he couldn’t believe how tired he was, his eyes going to Vegeta when he tried to explain why that was. He wasn’t concerned with how fit he was, but rather his overall weakness and inability to feel healthy. “This is not something I enjoy living with, so you should be glad I am so willing to compromise with all this nonsense you’re putting me through…” Slowly sitting down again he massaged his legs, trying to bring them back into working order. He wasn’t happy with how his body was breaking down and was rather down with how he was unable to function properly, especially when he used to be great at generally doing everything that didn’t require Ki. “This is ridiculous. It’s taking forever for some damn…illness to disappear. This is getting to be unbearable…”

Kiton didn’t know what happened, but he was still terrified over the events that lead him to where he was now. He didn’t know what was going on or why Leto had put him through this, but he was panicked and not wanting to be here. Immediately after realising what happened he immediately took to the air, floating a few metres off the ground looking to everyone who was here. He barely registered Aito talking to him and was too busy looking at everyone else before noticing the Saiyan warrior standing off with Takeshi. He was freaking out but he was still trying to pull himself together, even if he wanted to blast Leto for bringing him into this very awkward situation.

With his attention going to everyone in the place, Kiton could only feel like the right decision was to leave himself. This was awful either way, being forced into this. Looking between them all he gasped when Takeshi decided to shout at the Saiyan for his words, hardly feeling as if they’d affect him an awful lot. He was well aware his kind was not liked, otherwise there would be so many more of his own roaming the galaxy. Staring at Takeshi, his attention soon went to Aito who decided to defend the Saiyan. He didn’t know why Leto had brought him here, especially when they were all so busy in the first place. “What? Help me with?” he questioned Aito, only realising he was speaking to him just now, “I was dragged here against my own free will! I’m not even supposed to be here! He’s not in charge of watching me, either…”

Krom was most certainly annoyed with the interruption, but what was worse was it was a Frost Demon and an ex-soldier. The ex-soldier was someone people didn’t really mourn the loss of, but it was still a nuisance seeing him being an idiot. Giving Takeshi an angry glare his eyes soon went to Aito who quickly apologised, letting out a grunt before turning his attention to the Frost Demon. The fact they had one here just spelled trouble for everyone, considering the temperament they often carried with them as a result of their level of power. Grunting in response to what Kiton was saying he pointed to the hole his rebel chum had created. “Then howabout you both leave and stay out of here? Both of you have zero reason to be here!”

"Hm... I would imagine not. Yet it's something you've lived with for some time now, and you're still able to fight when needed. Do you imagine the rest of us would able to be effective in your condition?" Vegeta asked patiently, "I never assumed that you enjoyed this, and I would be an idiot to do such a thing. But you've been able to power through it in spite of everything, and all of your work is going to pay off soon." He would recover soon, and then all of this struggle and tribulations would finally be worth something. Watching as the Beastman took a seat to ease his legs, Vegeta turned towards the door expectantly, waiting for their food to be delivered. A lot of his well-being would hinge on the fact of whether or not he could eat; Viral needed nutrition, simply put, and if he couldn't eat then they were going to have to get creative. "Not all illnesses can be cured overnight, or even in the course of a day," Vegeta said, stating the obvious, "You cannot deny you're in better standing than you were, say... A week ago though. It seems that pain has subsided, you're not at risk of randomly transforming, and you're beginning to get active. I'd even say we're out of the illness and heading into the recovery phase by now."

It was safe to say no one had assumed Kiton would be coming here, certainly not in that fashion. Takeshi and Shu hadn't been informed at all where the Frost Demon was and only told he'd be receiving care for his wounds. Aito had known, yet without causing problems with the rebels he wasn't able to do anything to help. Seeing him here then when he was supposed to be in custody was surprising; Leto's still dazed self probably played a huge part in that. "Well you're here now, why not sit down and enjoy the show?" the doctor said with a smile, albeit slightly forced. If one might consider him having a heart-to-heart with Shu and Krom and Takeshi sharing a shouting match entertaining then he seriously worried for Kiton. The former was awfully angry about the intrusion, for reasons that seemed almost juvenile to Aito. Did he simply not wish to be watched? Was he afraid of Kiton? Their presence here had nothing to do with their training, and it wasn't as though Krom was some instructor being paid for his time, this was an alternative to being in custody. "I see no issue with their being here Krom, they aren't doing anyone harm. Let's let them sit down and watch for a while, maybe Kiton will even want to join in," the doctor suggested, glancing back at Shu, "You don't mind, do you?"

"If they wanna stay then let them stay! Just means more people get to see me finally kick your butt old man," Takeshi added, smirking as he glanced back at Krom. Now he had someone to show off a bit to, maybe he could get himself together and actually do something. "Kiton's not hurting anyone by staying here, quit complaining and let's get back to work!" Easing into a stance again he waited for Krom to do the same, determined to try and prove the man wrong still. No fancy tricks this time, he'd just go right in and open up like he always did, then follow with whatever he thought might cut it. One step at a time, no getting ahead of himself. Heh, easier said than done, he always got caught up in the moment and tried doing too much at once, maybe now though he'd be able to do it right. Maybe.
