<Snipped quote by Wernher>Anywhere from 30 million to 90 million.
Whichever makes it fit for your nation(s) in comparison to the "big players" in size.

I'm iffy about that. I'll ender wiggin a little here and refer wikipedia for 1914 euro population.

Germany 56,000,000
France 38,000,000
Italy 32,000,000
Spain 20,750,000

Total 146,750,000

In comparison, Russia proper had 67,500,000.

Here, NOT!Russia PRK has 267,110,000

And I also have you, which is in the hundred of millions (Note, I don't know where your population is. Is it all in the mainland, or is it in colonies?)

I think 150 million is reasonable, considering the problems my nation face (Overpopulation, complete lack of resources)

This isn't really about balancing factors. Nobody is complaining about your nation being OP. It isn't.
I just feel it goes against the portrayal of your nation if it has populations comparable to the largest powers in this setting.
Europe was and in a way still is the heart of our world. In comparison you're an influencial but still small nation here.
One suggestion was actually to reduce the size of the planet a bit so we'd have less territories. So just pretend your nation is smaller and then the population count would make more sense.
Overpopulation is a relative term depending on multiple factors. You can play this faction well even with less than 150 million people in it.

This implies that 100% of the PRK is urbanized, likewise for Moravia, which I can't help but feel would go against the portrayal too. Also, read that your census is not including your colonial population, outside of elves and such.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I'll keep my population as it is until I receive words going against that by the GM.

*thumbs up* Big pop is fine by me but just know that a war with one of your resource providers would hurt a lot. Then again, I'd expect a lot of people to be importing from you.

@Serpentine88 Alright, good work, I like what I'm seeing.

I also wouldn't mind some history with you, since I have a large, disconnected empire with lots of water in between.

I am considering to rely on the not-Germany part of Vinculi to produce the majority of my ammunition.
Kind of like how Britain relied on Germany prior to WW1 (and then they were fucked when they declared war on Germans before realizing this tiny fact).
The only issue is my reliance on mithril in general. I so wish to outsource my industries a bit to make my nation more dependent on others for plot reasons but my specialize industries makes this kinda hard at times.
@WernherTo solve this paradox how about making a portion of your pureblooded Dragons part of the alchemists? So Yllendthyr willingly discloses the secret of creating mithril to you and you can produce our goods with license, for example.

Does that mean your version of the creation of the world is the un-jacking off of the main god?

Wow, Verendes was a big thing, huh?
Suppose they were the Spain of our timeline.
As for modernization aid, Yllendthyr could help. They already took their share of land from the other direction and working together with the once great aquatic empire which most of the people in power today heard in their youth from their father is a good motivation, too.
Under the current prime minister Yllendthyr is living the age of consolidation and diplomacy.
Granted, Yllendthyr still getting into regional conflicts time to time and if doesn't his nobles like to offer up their forces to other countries as mercenaries.

I'm fine with it, sounds fun!

Also, would you mind if the king of one of my nations was say, one quarter elf? Old alliance from centuries ago, I think the guy's grandmother might very well be still alive too. Justify previous diplomatic relations etc, to say that not ALL of Vinculi hates elves.

ALSO! What's the status of magic here? Necromancy in particular.

Hmm, another thing.

What would people say about my people having invented submarines some time in the past? it wouldn't really matter now but me and serp were talking and it seems to make sense that the kingdom domianting a huge underwater civilization would seek to more effectively patrol and enforce its will in that civilization.

No magic is the rule I believe and even more so against necromancy for obvious reasons, at least nothing that can actually do anything. Other wise everyone would be using the Luminark of Hysh and using magical girls in their armies.
If I remember correctly, @Willy Vereb used alchemy to make mithril but most of the process is more or less ceremonial randomness but his elves can't figure out which steps are actually useful and which is just dancing around a fire pit and having an Elvish pow wow.
