That's right, I had nothing clever to say for the title. ....So hi there. You can call me clever or something. I am a special kind of socially awkward and a lover of terrible puns. I'm pretty new to roleplaying, been doing it for about a year now. I'd be happy to join if anybody needs more players. I love (potentially terrible) puns too! So, you're among friends. Or friend. But really, friends. Most people here are cool. I've basically not run into anyone who's like, overly aggressive or critical or outright mean. Some sarcastic people, yeah, but no one malicious really. So, hopefully you have a similar experience. The main variable is writing ability/level/quality, but we have sections for that. No one's perfect though.

@tobiax Thanks! I hope so to. I've been lurking around for a little while and people seem pretty friendly. I planned on starting with joining a few free roleplays and seeing how that goes. I really like how the site is set up, very easy to navigate. I might check out those sections, wouldn't hurt to get better right?

True. Only thing is that technically, the usually egregious things such as controlling other peoples characters, players scoring hits on other players without dodge attempts, and other such things may occur, as there aren't really firm guidelines there, or even suggested ones, so you really have to be careful. I can't say from experience, since I don't play in the Free section, but I'd assume that the little blurb about it is to be taken seriously, and one line replies with few guidelines doesn't sound like a fun time for me. I don't mean to insult anyone, or discourage you from looking into a section, I'm just sharing.
Anyway, yeah. I'd suggest looking in the general interest check section to see if anyone's doing something you'd enjoy.

@tobiaxI hadn't really thought of it that way. I was thinking it would be a good place to start because of the flexibility, but everything comes at a price am I right? I found a roleplay I'd like to try there so I still plan on checking it out, but I'll keep what you said in mind. ^^ Better keep myself in check there to. Thanks for the advice, I think I will check the general section. Maybe I'll try dabbling in a few different kinds.

You may be right, I was just, well, giving my advise as a longer time member. Ah, that's good! Glad you found something so soon. Hope it goes well. Yeah, a lot of things pop up there, but you may want to check the other interest checks as well. Never know what you might find.
