"Ivor!" Robbie commanded his imaginary hump-backed assistant as he donned an imaginary pair of goggles "Fetch the toolbox!"
"Yes, Professor" Ivor replied before running off to grab the toolbox.
"The di-inter-es-tay-shun ray will be ready soon" Robbie said "But right now, we'll have to settle with a vaporizer ray!". With that said, Robbie pulled a toy laser gun out of his jacket, pointed it at the man-eating dinos and pulled the trigger. The toy laser proceeded to light up and make laser sounds. When he heard Kenny call out to Leandra, Robbie looked in their direction to see what was going on. It was then that he noticed the toy dinosaur inside the castle. "Kenny!" Robbie called out "There's a dino in the castle! IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!".

Hearing the call for her, Leandra turned to look. She saw the dinos attacking the castle! Here she was, trying to get Leon and Caden to be friends, when she could be helping her own friends! Leandra dropped the animals and picked up a toy cheetah. "I'll save you!" She ran over to Kenny and Robbie. Noticing the dino trying to attack Kenny from behind, she ran over with her cheetah speed and knocked it over. "Are you alright Kenny?" She then turned to Robbie and called out to him. "It's okay! I, the fabulous Sparkles, has saved him!" She was proud of herself for saving her new friend. He could have died if she didn't!

"Hurry UP, Sarra!" Marya cried, dragging her little sister by the hand. "You'll be late!"
"But I don't wanna go!" the small girl whispered. "I don't wanna leave Mama and Lyra!"
"You'll get to see them tonight, now shut up and walk!"

They only lived a block away from the daycare center, but it took ten minutes for Marya to coax Sarra to walk that far. Marya all but dragged Sarra into the small building, waiting for Miss Emily to notice them. Marya wanted to leave so that she could get to school, but Sarra wouldn't let go of her hand; she was absolutely terrified of this.

She noticed Paisley, her best friend Paisley Quinn. She wanted to say something, "hi" maybe, but she didn't want any of the other kids in the class to notice her. She just didn't want to be here.

Paisley hadn't really followed the other kids, she tagged along and watched from the sidelines as they began to play. Jealously was an ugly face on any child, but Paisley made sure everyone knew she wasn't too happy about the outcome of the beginning of the day.

A large exasperated sigh escaped from her lips as she scowled. "I oughta stomp em' all!" she grumbled to herself, her petite arms crossed over her chest before she plopped down on the floor. Noticing in the corner of her eye the door opening, Paisley turned to see no other than her bestest buddy: Sarra.

Gathering herself off the floor, she galloped towards Sarra at full speed. Reaching the girl in record, time she threw her arms around the girl in a tight embrace. "Sarra!" she squeaked into the girl's ear before she pulled away. "I knew this day wasn't the worst." she admitted, grinning at the girl.

Kenny heard Robbie call out to him, but before Kenny could draw his sword, Leandra ran by him and knocked over the dino. As she announced herself, Kenny smiled brightly. "Wow! I could'a been a goner! Thanks, Sparkles!"

He made a sword-drawing motion with his right hand with a "Shink!" for emphasis. "We can defend the castle together...but there sure are a lot of them..."

What are we going to do?

Captain Plankbeard was clutching his ship's wheel, -actually a foam letter 'O'- twisting and turning it with great effort. The mighty winds threatened to tear his plucky little ship asunder; she just wasn't built for hurricanes like this! The sea was a harsh mistress indeed, and Garret was in need of a more durable ship. In the meantime, he would have to either abandon ship or steer it ashore.

Garret swung the wheel to port, attempting to ride with the storm. It dragged him towards one of the other kids, the girl with dark curly hair; Cassila.

"Land ho!" Garret shouted just as the winds tore his sails. He jumped and dropped the wheel, then approached Cassila and asked, "Ahoy there! Do you let pirates ashore on your lands? My ship's been wrecked."

It was at that point that Ivor returned with Robbie's toolbox. "Your toolbox, Professor" Ivor said as he handed it to Robbie.
"Thank you Ivor" Robbie said before opening his toolbox and giving his vaporizer ray the necessary upgrades to turn it into a di-inter-es-tay-shun ray. "How many dinos there are doesn't matter anymore, Kenny" Robbie said to Kenny "My new di-inter-es-tay-shun ray and I will make short work of them!". With that said, Robbie set the ray to maximum di-inter-es-tay-shun and opened fire on the dinos.

Lily walked inside the preschool, with her son Arthur in tow, who could only blankly stare at the foreboding walls of his new preschool. She knew they were unmistakably late, and kept her twisting face of embarrassment under a mask. Children's voices fluttered out of a nearby room, so Lily took her semi-dutiful passenger to its doorway, and peeked in. "Arthur, go play with them, Mommy will be back," she firmly stated the order. The firm grip on Arthur's hand slipped, and he cautiously took his first steps into the unknown.
