Personality: Niall is a lady's man and a charmer, he was groomed as crown prince to have impeccable manners. Niall can be a bit arrogant but his rank in life affords him the luxury of being a little arrogant. He does have a natural easy confidence and is comfortable speaking to nearly anyone, from the peasants of this land to the courtiers that romp about in the courtyard of his palace regularly. Niall has a bit of a temper but it tends to be hard to ruffle his feathers. History: Extra: He's a superb horseman and is almost entirely in charge of the breeding of the Royal horses.
Name: Selene Age: 21 Rank: Princess Personality: Selene is a gentle, kind, and courteous lady. She seems to be the image of the perfect princess. She never says a mean word to anyone, she carries herself with grace and dignity, and she always has a gentle smile for anyone. History: As the only daughter of the king and queen, one would think that Selene would be spoiled rotten. They would be wrong. Selene was raised as her mother was, to be a princess worthy of the title; to be graceful, kind, and gentle to all. Her lessons were helped by her naturally quiet deposition. She is a princess loved by all who meet her.
Unfortunately, all is not well for Selene. Diagnosed as a young child with an incurable disease, she was often confined to her bed during her younger years. Now, as a young adult, she seems to be getting better; however, the court physician has warned her to be careful. The disease may seem to be disappearing, but it could return at any time. Extra: Selene is proficient at knitting, and can often be found with her hands busy making some useful thing for her family.
Name: Diego de Silvan y Correz Age: 23 Rank: Count of Torremolinos Personality: At first impression, Diego seems to be a bit of a fop. He truly cares about the people under his rule, however, and is a master swordsman. History: Diego is the result of the joining of two noble families, with the marriage of the Count y Correz and the Countess de Silvan. He has two younger sisters, whom he adores. With the sword skills he learned from his father, he happily chases away any suitors he deems unworthy of his sisters, which are most of them. Occasionally, Diego follows his father's example and disguises himself to go among his people, to see how they truly feel about their Count and Countess. Extra: Deigo's sword skills are second only to his father's, and his mother has taught him to be a perfect gentleman. Some people make the mistake of dismissing him as not a danger; those people find themselves sorely mistaken. Literally, sorely.

Personality: A born clown with an irritating, flippant attitude towards life and others, but one of his greatest traits is his courage, and perseverance. He is often pointed out as cocky and childish, yet also charming. He is loyal to his friends, and family. He is sometimes known to be aggressive, especially when people insulted or attacked those he cares for. He does have a selfish side as he would never risk his life to save anyone else unless the honor/reward outweighed the risk.
He has quite the knack for noting minor details in any situations, and figuring out riddles, mysteries, and other such things. He gets carried away with wild theories, and stories. He absolutely does not care what people think of him, therefore his is totally fine with saying exactly what he thinks to anyone, but he also knows to hold his tongue to keep his position.
History: Rupert was born at Manderuth Palace in Friesia. He was the eldest son of Prince Warren of Friesia, and his first wife the duchess Christa of Ebivini. His mother was the favorite cousin of the late King of Indra, so by blood Rupert is 8th in line for the throne. Sadly, his mother died two days after giving birth to his second youngest sister, Lady Annette Oldenburg, when Rupert was only nine years old.
His father remarried when Rupert was ten, to a Lady Julia. A rather uptight, and stoic woman. After his father’s remarriage, his new stepmother went on to take control of the household. Ruperts parents had five children toghether but only he and his to youngest sisters, Lady Winifred, and Lady Annette, survived past infancy. His second wife, Julia, brought her own two children from her previous marriage with her, a sadistic son named Trevor, and a spoiled daughter named Augusta. Rupert stepmother had him and his younger sisters sent to live in separate households, ‘for their education, and well-being.’ She would claim to their father, but really she just didn't want his first wife’s children in the picture, and she was not a fan of Indra people in general.
So from the age of 10 to 16 Rupert was raised, by his godfather in Ebivini, where he met his younger noble/royal cousins. He and his cousin Maverick a future marquis became best friends in their youth. He received military training, and undertook a grand tour of the five countries spending several months in Escova and Zeelu. He married Lady Marceline of Zeelu. Marceline was a beauty, but over-emotional and rather ignorant about the world, she also spoke hardly any of the Indra language. A loveless but beneficial marriage to his native country of Friesia, the match had been personally suggested to Rupert by the King of Friesia.
Of course when his uncle King Jerome of Friesia started his excursions and campaign in Manora, Rupert was right there, leaving his new wife pregnant in Indra. Over the next few years Marceline bore him two children, Alaric and Rosalind.
Rupert Returned to Friesia for a short stay, to see his Sister Winifred marry. Finding his wife pregnant, with what could not possibly be his child, as he had been gone for over a year. She was confined to the prison tower, where she was questions and tortured several times until she confessed to her secret love with one of her servants, and that the unborn child was his. She was also questioned, about her two other children's legitimacy, and if they were even Rupert's. And she swore that they were Rupert's children till the very end. The Servant was hanged, and Lady Marceline was proclaimed guilty of adultery, and treason. After Giving birth to a son, she was locked in the tower for three months, and then beheaded for her crimes. The baby boy was sent to a convent, and Rupert's two young children, he sent to live in Indra with their great Aunt Opaline.
Rupert's father died from smallpox, while Rupert was in the south fighting alongside his good friend Maverick. With the news of his fathers passing he made his way back to Friesia again, at the age of 26 for the funeral, nd thus he gained his inheritance, becoming the third most wealthiest man in Friesia. He traveled to his estate in Ebivini after his fathers Death and stayed for the next two years, marrying his second wife, Maudde a wealthy heiress, and only child of Sir Macon the right hand of the king of Indra. Their loved blossomed and, she gave birth to a daughter they named Lorelei. Sadly Maudde passed away only three months later from a infection of the lungs. With the death of his second wife, he saw no reason to stay any longer in Indra, while his King campaign in the southern country was still progressing. Leaving baby Lorelei in the care of his sister Winifred and her husband, he left for Manora.
Now he his back in Ebivini, his Cousin Maverick the new hand of the king of Indra. Rupert has sent for his children to come back to live in his household. He is on the look out for a new wife, and finding a suitable husband for his youngest sister Annette.
Personality/History: Catalina is the only surviving child of the late Lord Vernon, Baron of Bernbury, and his first wife the late Lady Araceli of Escova. Her mother, Lady Araceli had six previous miscarriages, three still born babes, and one deformed daughter, who died four days after she was born. When Lady Araceli grew pregnant with Catalina, she resorted to witchcraft and other such taboos, to ensure the life and health of her coming baby. Her husband Lord Vernon, along with handfuls of servants witnessed her pagan ways, and when she was seven months pregnant she was confined to the prison tower, to await her execution for crimes of witchcraft and the murder of two young maids. Her execution was postponed until after she gave birth. Two months later, in late February, baby Catalina was born swiftly and effortlessly. And Lady Araceli was beheaded the following week.
With Lord Vernon’s wife forever now known as a witch, his once shiny reputation and respect became tarnished. Once a respected diplomat, known as a good childhood friend to King, and a charitable man, he was now scorned by his peers, and felt unwelcome at court. So he left with baby Catalina and his household to live in his country estate.
Catalina was three years old when her father remarried to Lady Agnes. It’s was a reputation fixer on his part, marrying the homely Agnes. She was well-known as a devout religious woman, and beloved by most, for her patronage within the kings church. In the ten years of their marriage, she bore Lord Vernon no children, but was the perfect mother to Catalina, who she nicknamed ‘Kitty’.
Being an only child, her father and stepmother spoiled and coddled her. She spent her early childhood at the St. Mallory’s convent where she received a good education. When she was nine her stepmother took personal charge of her education at home by hiring tutors, to which Catalina was taught to sing, paint, dance, read, write, spell and speak five different languages. So her education was considered above average for women of her high class, and standing. Good manners, household management, arithmetic, history, court etiquette, horseback riding, archery, hunting, and card games were specifically taught to her by her doting stepmother.
When she was ten she was betrothed to a much younger boy, Lord Roderigo a future Marquis. The betrothal was broken off three years later, after the Lord Roderigo suffered a fall, which rendered him simpleminded, and mentally unstable. Sadly just one month after the engagement was broken off, Catalina's father died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of forty-nine. Only a short six months later, her stepmother Lady Agnes left become a nun. Catalina, almost 14 years old was sent to live under the care of her aunt Marjorie, the Baroness of Clifton. Aunt Marjorie was very old, really dull, and spent most of her time embroidering, or falling asleep. Catalina's education became less rigorous and she basically had an unlimited amount of freedom, and endless time on her hands.
She spent her free time becoming the young woman she is today. Describe as bubbly, vivacious, cheeky, witty, and very charming, by most who met her, she is considered to be captivatingly beautiful, confident, and cheerful, but also rather prideful, and overly extravagant. Negotiations about her marriage began again under the control of her Uncle Raymond, and her godmother, Dame Isolde’s proxy. She was desired by many men, which she reveled in, but as a young girl she had the typical girly ideals of being married for love, so she refused the three different marriage arrangements she was given. When she was sixteen she entered court for the first time, and this became her favorite thing of all time. She was a well-liked socialite, stylish and gorgeous, and became established at court as one of the Queen's ladies.
Now 20 years old and with her own household as Baroness of Bernbury she has come into her own and feels ready for marriage.
Personality: Adalaide is a bit of a live wire. She enjoys her parties and 'forming questionable impressions upon the youth of these days'. If she wasn't a Marchioness, a widow, and a very rich one at that, she more than likely would have been shunned ages ago but she's built up a circle and is one of the more popular ladies when it comes to Court. She has a wit and isn't afraid to show it, but has a temper worse than a drunk's and a sharp tongue to back it.
History: Adalaide is not a naive of Indra, but rather born in Manora, she and her twin sister were the only daughters of seven children born to the Baron de Vere. They were sent to the royal court at a young age to become Lady's in Waiting for Princess Audrey. Growing up in the castle was an expierence within itself, and when they were 16, Adalaid's sister married the Crown Prince. He made Adalaide a Duchess in her own right, unfortunately due to mounting political pressure she had to marry and not to someone from Manora. Rather, she became betrothed to the Marquess of Donde, an aging gentlemen who just needed to secure political alliances with Manora since a vast majority of his land borders the forest in which Manora shares with him. Adalaide adored her husband, as he adored her both content in the friendship they secured by this marriage. Unfortunately, when she was twenty two, only three years into her marriage, her husband passed in his sleep. His nephew who inheirited the land, was a devilish rake who was off galavanting as far away as he could be. He claimed, when notified of his uncle's passing, that he 'couldn't be bothered less of his passing and that as long as Adalaide didn't drain his coffers or try to emulate the Bloody Baroness, she could do whatever her heart desires.' So she became one of the most well known woman in society, known for her parties and mischief.
Personality: Lilith is a very bright girl, and has been since she was a child. It's not book smarts, but rather how she interacts with people and views conflict. Her cleverness and skepticism makes her good at trying to discern the source of a problem. With it she is also sly and uses her cunning in conversations to strengthen relationships within politics. However, it's not all simply for power or wealth, but rather she truly wishes to aid people with her influence and have a more meaningful life than her parents sometimes wish her to have. Her pride wouldn't let her become some trophy wife or side figure. With her slyness however comes the fact she rarely ever has an actually close friends outside of business. Her parents hardly deemed it needed for her to have someone to talk to outside of political events. Clever, Sly, Good Nature, Tease, Prideful
History: Lilith was the second child of Tranor Calamont and his wife Rachel within the borders of Indra which she has never had a chance to leave. This was due to the death of her sister when Lilith was six years old after she contracted a disease when her father brought her along for a foreign relations trip to the jungles of Manora. The goal of the trip was to establish good connections with the small nation for their rise in power as well as hopefully start setting up contacts and import/export regulations. As the economic advisor to the king her father was very good at his job, but despite his attempts he could never get his daughter quite as interested in mathematics and exchange. While he loved his daughters very much, it is very easy to tell how much he would have preferred a son to be able to take up his position, but after Lilith was born her mother had been unable to birth any more heirs. Now that he is left with one daughter Tranor hasn’t been willing to bring Lilith along to foreign nations despite her desire.
To avoid feeling like a bird trapped in her cage Lilith was heavily invested in trying to establish her own connections within the nobility at home. An avid event goer she would go along with her father and mother whenever she could to whatever would be held. Her other fascination had been with music as well, and at such events that were at her family’s own castle she would perform when people asked. Despite this however, it has been a slow burn into getting her favored standing in the eyes of many when it comes to her personality and opinion being recognized. This was also trouble when it came to proposals. Since her father was an economic adviser to the king and a duke many families aimed to raise their standing with her marriage. Making her have to turn down offers and angering more than a few sons of other nobility members. Soon though, her father made an ultimatum on her 21st birthday. If she didn’t find a man soon she would be arranged to marry. Her father aimed for her best interest with this, not wanting her to become old and alone while not able to move on, but at the same time Lilith felt he simply wanted to achieve what having a son couldn’t, which was gains through marriage.
While she is good up front, Lilith had had a hard time connecting with people after her sister’s death. Before it had occurred Lilith was hardly so interested in being ‘popular’ or ‘important’. But, when she had to take being the only child left she knew she couldn’t leave her family’s name to die by her silence. Her sister’s pride in their name transferred to her, and despite her disagreements with her father she didn’t accept those that would speak ill of him or her mother.
Extra: She is quite the musician as well as dancer. Preferring to spend time practicing those aspects of her life compared to other classical techniques and schooling. Diplomacy, though, is a strong suite of hers when it comes to finding a compromise.
Name: Julien De Guesclin, Marquis of Broceliande Age: 27 Rank: Marquess/ Major in the Indra's Light Rifles
Personality: One could not guess that Julien was a man of status and nobility upon first meeting him. For a noble, he is rather blunt and would rather talk to someone directly as opposed to the drudgery and mind games of court politics. Those who get to know him will find he is a man of fine humor and generosity, but sometimes awkward and irreverent at the exact wrong times. This is especially true when it comes to women.
History: When Julien was fifteen, his father bought him a commission in the Army, and served in a regiment of light infantry. These men are far from dashing and chivalrous, and are rough and tumble fighters and wild revelers. Naturally, this is not exactly the sort of environment for a wide eyed young boy, but Julien adapted and ended up thriving in his new environment. He gained the respect of his men, as well as skill in the use of arms. After twelve years of service, he was allowed to return home to Broceliande and take care of his now ailing father. Due to his father's weakened state, Julien has legally been given the title of Marquis, as he has no brother's or older relatives to take the title. Now, Julien finds himself in the terrifying arena of politics, and he finds himself more than a little unprepared.
Extra: Julien is an expert shot, and he enjoys hunting trips in the countryside. Also, while an average rider, he is not terribly fond of horses (They bite).
