Name: Marx Phillips Lancer
Nickname: 'Limbo'
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Appearance: Born an albino, unknowing that this was caused by his Conduit powers, and as such, much of the pigment in his skin and hair has been lost, resulting in his striking 'deathly' appearance.

Normal Appearance (I had intended to find a less douchey looking picture and one where the person posing is smiling/or drawing, but this was as close as I can get.):

Marx when he is reaching his power's limits (Pretty close, though couldn't find a realistic picture that fit what I was imagining, so I had to resort to this anime one. FORGIVE ME):

Alignment: Neutral, he doesn't really get into the business of other people if he can avoid it.

Biography:

Living as an outcast is all Marx knows, that; and the cruelty of this world. His first moments of life was that of rejection, having been abandoned at the doorstep of an orphanage as a baby. Even among others who were unwanted and cast away, he found a cold and vicious embrace. Everyone that saw his ghastly appearance thought him to be a curse, or an omen. They either treated him like he didn't exist, or acted to remind him of his place.

Even those overseeing the institute wanted nothing of the sickly-looking boy, ignoring him when he was bullied by the others. He cried a lot, so they stopped feeding him. His starvation seemed to sap away his tears well enough.

All around the young boy, the world appeared black and white, literally and figuratively.

He was eleven when he found his first friend and only comfort in the terrible place. Funnily, they weren't even human. It was a stray cat that he found wandering nearby. The animal seemed similar to him, hungry and lonely, looking at him with lost eyes. He immediately felt a bond with the cat, often shared his scraps of food and talked with it. Although just an animal, it taught him how to laugh and smile. One day, he was found playing with the cat. The young boy was restrained and forced to watch as the animal was cornered and beaten by the group of kids. Marx cried and begged for them to stop, completely helpless, but there was nothing he could do. When they finally finished, the cat was nearly at the point of death, laying there upon the ground in a pool of blood. Tears flowed down his face as he huddled over the body of his only friend. He cried while surrounded by their sickening laughter. But after that moment, Marx never shed another tear. Or another emotion at all for that matter. The only thing that rested upon his face was an expression void of emotion. When his friend released its last breath in his hands, the immense emotional pain would trigger his innate Conduit powers.

The whole world was immediately flung into chaos around him. It was as though this was a manifestation of all his anger, destroying everything he loathed. Everything was torn apart into nothingness, consuming the terrified children and pale boy. The orphanage and those within it were struck in the wave of destruction, much of it disappearing without a trace. Official records state that no one survived this explosion, apparently caused by poor infrastructure and a gas leak, no doubt a cover story to soothe the public.

Though this didn't fall too far away from the actual truth.
The pale boy had 'survived', physically, but what is left of him is dead, forever.

Using this as an opportunity to search for a fresh start, Marx left for the city, where he lived the following years completely alone and underneath a new guise, 'Limbo'.

"If only you never became my friend..."

Power:

Other:
Color Blind; is only able to see in shades of White and Black.
Listens to music to calm his nerves, almost throughout the whole day and quite loudly in fact. He seems to hear just fine despite this.
Loves all animals, though his favorite being cats.

I have ideas. She's a WIP but I'll finish her eventually. I was thinking a less proactive version of John without the huge transformation.

Name: Luna Hoshi A.K.A. Intense
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance: Luna appears to be of Japanese descent, despite her height of six feet, athletic frame and long, crimson hair, which is tied back in a ponytail. She has a tattoo on her back of the words "Love" in a decorative style, "Hate" in a sharp, spiky letter style and "Family" in a generic style. She wears a black t-shirt made with a large hole in the back, showing off her tattoo, a knee-length, multi-layer, black skirt that she refers to as her "combat-skirt", underneath which she wears a pair of black leggings that reach to the middle of her shins, and a pair of black, heavy boots, complete with steel toes, spikes and a loud thunk when she walks. The boots stop just past the hem of her leggings.
Side: Neutral
Personality: She acts as if she has no emotions. However, her emotions are let out in other ways, usually through her art or her powers.
Biography: When she was younger, Luna stood at the edge of the blast radius the had happened with Cole MacGrath. She had been practicing her graffiti style with different paint colors. She didn't know what had happened but had awoken a few days later in the hospital. Needless to say, her injuries had healed and she was free to go. It wasn't until the Beast was in New Marais that she noticed her powers. She hadn't moved far from Empire City, still just a bit of a walk. She had seen a little boy about to be hit by a truck and, in a rush to get to him, she threw her hands out, accidentally hitting the boy with a bright, blueish-purple energy. The boy seemed to be unharmed by the energy and raised his hands to hide himself from the truck. The truck bent to the boy's will. The entire front end had been flattened and the driver badly injured. After helping the driver get to the hospital, she helped the boy figure out what he could do and, after he had a good start on controlling his powers she left. The next day, when she went to check on him, he had told her his powers weren't as strong when she wasn't around. Over the next month, she found other conduits, all of whom told her the same thing the boy had. She was a power enhancer. It wasn't until she saw the plague beginning to spread that she felt stronger. Around every plague victim, she felt as if something in them wanted her. Something that seemed she had a craving for. She had drained an old, homeless man when he was caught with the plague, curing him. She continued experimenting with her powers, seeing what she could do.
Power: She can control the Ray Sphere Radiation itself.
Power-: She can enhance the abilities of other conduits by 1/10 of her "battery". (If she's only half-charged, the conduits around her will only get a 5x power increase.)
She can absorb the Ray Sphere Radiation from plague victims to recharge herself and cure them. She could also do the opposite, putting more radiation in the victim to hasten their death.
She can activate potential conduits by filling them with more radiation.
Other: She can often be caught staring at pretty girls.
