Before anyone gets crazy and decides to start some kind of flare-war here, no… I am not calling anyone in particular immature. I am, however, a little lost as to where everyone over the age of 25 seems to be hiding on this site.

I’m pretty new to roleplayerguild.com, admittedly, but as an erotic fiction author I’d hoped to link up with some like-minded, mature folks who wanted to hone their craft with a little bit of sexy writing in a 1x1 PM situation - but it really does seem like the majority of the people here are much younger (read: jailbait, #mesmergoestojail).

So… I’m pitching this to you admin-type guys. I love the site and I especially love the IC and PM functionality, but gosh, it'd be great if you had a “mature” or “adult” section where a girl can interact with legal adults without having to weed through the giggling crowd of highschoolers that just want you to type something “dirty”. Okay… I heard it that time. I guess I did call someone “immature”. ;)

Does 23 count as a legal adult or am I still jailbait? I know how you feel though, this is precisely why I stick to PM for everything with rare exception.

They are around here, but they tend to hide. We personally don't do 1x1 after having had poor experiences with it, even as we prefer deeper, more complex (read: chaotic) RPs.

The chief issue with an adult section is that RPs there could strike with the google adsense system, which is what pays for the guild. There's also no truly reliable means for determining someone's legal age. To be technical, the age that restricts sexual stuff is not "legal adult", but "age of consent". In most countries, that sits around 16, not 18. Some countries have even lower limits (particularly outside europe/americas), but wikipedia can explain that much better than us.

So as a typical paradox: at sixteen in many countries, you can procreate but you can't vote or drink. Isn't that curious?

If you can think of a way to have an adult section without getting into trouble with adsense and so forth, feel free to throw it out in the suggestions section, @MesmerEyes.
