with the release of Medabots IX soon, I decided to have a try at remaking an old RP that I thought was pretty good, but never really got any interest.

Essentially, this will take place in Japan. You can play as either a Medafighter and his Medabot, or just a Medabot without a Medafighter. There is a group of Dissident Medabots that have made their own town in the sewers, they are led by a Warbandit that just wants Medabots to be able to live free of humans.

Throughout the RP, different factions will come to light. Some see Medabot independence as a good thing, others see them as advanced tin soldiers that are nothing more than playthings for children, not deserving rights of their own. Some that are trying to stop Medabot independence aren't necessarily evil, some that fight for it aren't necessarily good.

I'll drop some interest in here. I'm just going off tho. I'll look at this again probably sometime tomorrow.

Like the idea.

Cool, that's 2 onboard. 1 more and I think i'll get an OOC going.

Any thoughts on the Medabots you are going to use? I was thinking of having a KrosserDog

Either Drummin' Beat or Banisher, so obviously a focus on beating other medabots down. Maybe Blackram as the only devil-type medabot that hasn't been linked to some kind of unique, unavailable to the general public role in the anime.

I was thinking of running a Landmotor or something.
Other things that come to mind being Tankard and Belzelga at least in the moment.

Edit:
I could also play Blazermate, the tinpet being female suited for support. It can heal and "revive" parts along with boosting her allies. an upgrade to Blazermate is Blazer-Multi retaining the abilities of Blazermate but getting bigger and having legs fit for flying and being able to purge the armor for more offensive close-combat form.

Cool looking idea's so far. I am going to warn you now, the first boss is going to be a custom-jobbie of my own design.

Also, are these going to be Rogue medabots or belonging to medafighters?

I'mma go with a standard medafighter-medabot combo. Also if we're going by anime canon, so to speak, Belzelga should probably be banned considering it was like, a new model exclusive to the Medabot Corporation and freakishly powerful. Really, every devil type medabot that wasn't Blackram was given some sort of plot-important, unique wrecking ball role. Up to the GM I guess.

@Zero Hex I am fine with a Mass produced Belzelga. It won't be as freakishly powerful as the prototype. They have to tone-down the power so that it can punch things without destroying its arms.

I am interested in this RP, but I just want to play as a Mettafighter, not the bot itself. Anyone interested in playing my bot?

Awesome. I'll give it a day for you to, hopefully, attract a partner to play your Medabot and then make the OOC.

Well, I can play a bot if ya want. I'm going to sleep atm tho.
It would actually provide an interesting dynamic to have 2 players doing a Fighter/bot combination anyway. I've listed bots I had most interest myself anyway but I'll be happy to provide you with a partner medabot of your choosing. Looking at the low(?) interest rate it might be a better idea to not use a support bot though.

Also for the fact that I mentioned Belzelga did not mean I wanted to have the "punch break its arm" level of bot but rather having something bellow "avarage" (in terms of its model), something some would deem a failure but it was a good and understandable point as I did not really say what I would do with each of the bots in the way of BG.

@edgeout
I'll look forward to possibly working with ya.

I might roll with Little Lacy or La Pucelle in a bot/partner team.

@Windicator
That was exactly what I was thinking! Like the anime, where the bot has a personality of its own, we can have a "rare chip" inside you. It won't affect the battle that much, just your independence and personality. As for functionality, let's start off with a cheaper base, that we can upgrade later. I like the idea of Belzelga. I want a bot that can have superior melee skill, with quickness of an assassin, and when we have enough money we could get you a ranged weapon for an arm for versatility. But Now I'm just rambling >.< Too excited XD

I am also down with the idea of a support bot, but like you said we might not have enough ppl. If we can gather like two melee, maybe one ranged, then I think Blazermate is a great option, which of course we can upgrade later into better versions.

I'm pretty flexible as well, and am looking forward to possibly working together ^^~

I have no problem with a latent rare medal, but I it won't evolve until I give the ok.

I'm considering either a Jikki, which I'd probably rename "Janitron" or something, or a Megavex delivery mech. Both would TECHNICALLY be owned by humans, but doing their own thing on their downtime from work.

Wouldn't a bot like Nin-Ninja, based after an actual assassin, work better for that concept rather than the straight up smasher that is Belzelga and devil class bots in general? Foxuno is similar but it focuses less on the speed since it comes with a ranged attack for its head part, which in the anime was made to fire lightning. Red Matador would also be a fast melee unit but focused more on straight charges rather than nimble footwork thanks to its quadruped legs. Like, Belzelga isn't particularly known for being super quick or even skill-based, just hitting things ridiculously hard. Whitesword would also be a better concept fit.

Well as @Zero Hex before me mentioned Belzelga would be one thing in melee
and as mentioned in above ramble it would still slow.

as also pointed out by @Zero Hex (should we give him some more recognition?) Nin-Ninja would be close(st) to your description of a bot and I'll be happy to do that but be sure to say if anything else caught your eye.
