@Lmpkio
Also, you still haven't posted for Doomsday, so ima just have him show up and abuse the shit out of some portal you left behind. Because it's been 2 days or so, and you seem to be busy doing other shit.

@thewizardguy My apologizes, but the Bern base has been abandoned and the portal was closed once the majority of Fighters came in during the battle. What would you like him to find?

If you remember, I pointed out that Cyano's nanomites wereally very outdated. So outdated in fact that they don't have a connection to any system. Besides using the same process that makes her, and any one elses, brain work. For him to take control of her nanomites, he would need to have some form or very strong mind control.

@Lmpkio
As such, it depends on whether or not the nanites are a Closed System, and whether Ultron is able to activate a direct connection. If he can't access the system, he can't control it. Nor could he transfer his consciousness to a system he can't currently access.

Essentially this. Yes.

Actually, I have an idea. I think I'll have Agatha show up there and mess with the tech, and have Apocalypse force her to build him a portal to take him to some other location. Potentially the Goa'uld, or the Alliance.

@Absolis
Also, if Ultron manages to form a direct link, he could control the nanites. The nanites must be interconnected in order to function, as such hacking one of them would allow him to take control of the bunch. However, this would probably require him to impale Cyano on his hand or something, which pretty much means he's won already.

Yeah... considering the Saber cloth, he wouldn't be able to do that. So he would have a tough time with Cyano.

I mean, he would definitely deliver a pretty good uppercut. It would hurt her alot, but as for piercing the Saber cloth, I don't think anything short of breaking Apocalypse' arm into a jagged stump and having him shove it into her could do it.

@thewizardguy Somewhere different please. The other Empire is a nice place to be you know? The Alliance needs to rest a bit ya know?

Not sure what Ultron's limit to technopathy is... may need to check. If not then its fine, it'll still be a good fight anyways.

Grimlock's arms are his legs. The world can be a confusing place.

So Cyano is essentially cutting off Grimlocks arms. Let's see him hold that sword now!

Not really. You haven't missed anything besides Cyano being amazing. At least, in terms of what pertains to you

@lmpkio a wiki says any computer system. Which I suppose would mean even closed systems. But I ask that perhaps despite what it says we go with just networks with wireless access. 1. Because wikis should be taken with a grain of salt. And 2. Because suffice to say, that would be very overpowered considering that the implication is that Ultron could then just hack into terminals, teleportation systems, even particularly advanced guns. Essentially anything that runs on anything resembling a computer. And that's just a bit too overpowered.

Ultron's technopathy is not a supernatural ability, it's a manifestation of his automatic understanding and capability to assimilate any form of technology. He's basically an ultra-hacker, because his brain is a supercomputer and he has a more comprehensive knowledge and understanding of electronics than any human could ever possess. As such, due to the logical limitations of technology, it makes no sense for him to be able to hack into a closed system. A closed system isn't receiving any signals from outside, and the only way to hack something without making a direct connection is to use a signal. Even more advanced signals wouldn't work, because it's not receiving any signals.

Although there are some comics where Ultron's pulled some fairly awesome shit, he usually seems to be locked out of closed systems.

Suffice to say, in the multiverse he would be a god. He would be able to detonate entire fleets of ships. Mess with the aiming systems of guns, link every terminal and teleportation system to himself. So I think wireless access only, with his strength, durability, and robot immunity to things like mind control, makes him powerful enough as it is.

@Absolis I don't think he can go into closed systems. Vision in the movie blocked him off via the internet, so he shut him out and he can't go in there. So he can't go into closed systems.

This makes sense. Which is why I say wikis should be taken with a grain of salt.
