This RP will be centered around Zygerria after the Battle of Endor. Since the Galactic Empire took center stage, the Zygerrian's have reestablished themselves once more as the Slave Empire of the Outer Rim. A fruitful business partnership with the Imperials allowed for Zygerria to flourish far greater than ever before. Slave Auction Hubs litter the planet containing vast amounts of diverse species from across the galaxy. They are forced against their will to do their masters' bidding, fighting in arenas, scrambling through masochistic obstacle courses, and pod racing through suicidal terrain --- all for the sake of entertainment.

But recent reports of the Empire's heavy losses against the Rebel Alliance have reached Zygerria, causing ripples of uneasy tension.

Hope has reinvigorated the enslaved and rumors of a massive uprising are spreading across the planet. Will you take part in the new liberation, or will you make sure their freedom remains firmly shackled?

Potential FAQ
1. Can I be a Jedi?
Yes, though your lightsabers are either destroyed or kept as a trophy by your Slave Master. Force powers have to be used with the utmost discretion for fear of being caught and possibly killed on site. The only time you can use your lightsaber or powers is during the arena games, but keep in mind your abilities will be limited.

2. What role can I play as?
Well, definitely a slave - but if you'd like, you can also be part of the guildmaster's staff. I'd like for this group to be plotted together and not so out in a sandbox. Ideally, we should all be part of one Guild. If you become a slave, your character's background is only limited by your imagination, but just remember that this is taking place immediately after the battle of Endor, so try to be accurate with the times. If you work under the Guildmaster, you'll have more history with other RPers who also want to be staff members.

3. Wait, what's a guild?
Since the entire planet thrives as a Slave Empire, i'll have it broken down into several different groups that are all basically competing against each other via arena, pod racing, games. The more we win, the better our Guild's station will be in Zygerria. Our RPing group will be the focus of one Guild in particular. More will be explained in OOC.

4. So what's the overall goal for this RP?
The underlying plot is the freedom of Zygerria's slaves, and our character's motives to either make that happen or not. That of course is interwoven with our interactions during the guild games and daily life spent together.

5. Why did you put [Dark] on the header?
Because this is going to get pretty gritty and tackle subjects that might make people uncomfortable.

Thank you both for showing interest. I suppose you can prep a rough draft character sheet while we wait for more people to show interest. I'll try adding more content tonight with regards to the Guild, the Slave Empire, and Zygerrian info. This CS might not be the final draft, but this is a good template to start with:

Prized possession: (Per leniency of the guildmaster, you are allowed one possession that symbolizes the last relic of your past life. Unless you're a guildmember, anything weapon related is obviously confiscated and used for the games only.)

Here's some more extra lore info. The Ebonvar is our Guild and the three NPCs listed are our best players in the slave games. I'll probably put the OOC up sometime between tomorrow and thurs.
