Well, I have in mind a custom Digimon RP, but Digimon from the anime are allowed.

Do you have a plot for this?

While referred to as "Custom" it's still somewhat unspecified. I'm led to think it's either just non-canon or with stuff not yet introduced to the series. adding clarity to this would allow people to make more informed decisions thus encouraging to act and express interest

So as Digimon from anime are in, will we be able to use what other mediums?

For the record: My favorite Digimon(s) happens to be the Keramon line.

I might be interested in this one.

Well, for the most part... yes, you will be able to use other mediums. But some are just not allowed. We'll get into that later. I think non-canon and Custom digimon, just for the lolz. I think it would be fun to make up our own digimon and be able to use ones from the show... but seriously, who doesn't like a lot of the Digimon from the show?

My favorite digimon line is probably the BlackAgumon (Classic) line, just because of BlackWargreymon.

@TamerLumber I have to agree with you on that. I've never actually given much tought at what kind of Digimon I'd make myself (Gotta draft that at the basic level soon...) but It'd probably be some machine/cyborg type (Don't quote that when it suddenly is something very different)
As far as how many Digimon in show are good, they are pretty much on the very good side excluding some.
Is there any basic setup for this and also, you don't have to narrow yourself to the following options nor answer what you don't want to but I'll ask www.

Will this be in real, digital or both worlds.

Tamers with digimon, and this will be both worlds. We don't know much about the digital world in this RP.

If I were to make a custom Digimon represented in a visual medium, would a sprite splicing feel/look out of place?
Just came to mind as combining the already existing assets and producing some abominations in the sprite style of atleast the later Digimon story series.
The ourcome won't be nearly as good no matter how I do it as the following fan made Digimon, Sinkermon:

@TamerLumber I was thinking mine would be minor modifications to existing Digimon. Assuming nobody else is going to take a Greymon line: Koromon--> BlackAgumon X--> BlackGeoGreymon--> BlackRizeGreymon--> HayabusaGaiomon (I refuse to use the English name "Samudramon")

I pretty much said I'd ask more questions so I'll just get to them now. Don't answer if you feel it's better not to.
What kind of evolutions will play a role ex: as armor is usually about champ or so but as a dead end line should we look at possibly getting armors. Also posing this for following: everything under rookie (I'll probably do it anyway), joggres/fusion/DNA etc ( and if biomerge is in(I just started toying around the idea of having a dual line one featuring biomerge having 2 biomerge froms, nothing committed yet) evolutions and any even possibly setting specific evolutions

Not really an important question and you should not answer if you've not yet got to such detail or feel it's unnecessary information and a hindering/limiting factor but what size would the digital world (atleast accessible) be and what would be its type (If it is anything like in any season)

I'll probably come up with more soon. If I'm pestering you just say and I'll leave it at that.

Sure you've not updated the interested list in awhile but it's curious how you managed at anyrate deduce only Otaku was interested unless the criteria for interest is listing down your Digimon line.

I'll probably start making the first concepts and drafts shortly (refer to chronic procrastinator. Procrastinator especially.)

Edit: if one wants to add some spice Digimoji (or digicode) can be used to have some text written in digimon language.

While it's a hassle to add them as a pictures individually, I can type digimon as or by virtue of using correspondents of the western alphabets:

I might integrate these to my own digimon when the time comes.

@Windicator Awesome resource. I never thought about using the alphabet, but it's definitely something to think about.

@TamerLumber I'm thinking of using this evolution progression:
Pagumon --> Gazimon --> Sangloupmon --> Cerberumon --> Anubimon
(not set yet on Anubimon as ultimate. This may change.)

Okay, I might start it up soon! Give me your Digi-Lines, and we'll start!

Oh and, characters must have the D-3 Digivice, or the older model!
