Description:
History: The Martian Federation. A federal government formed by the Russian, European, North American Colonists whom jumped onto Mars during the colonization programs before the infection. It was a Militaristic Trade society. Often pushing military advancements forward, while changing the red planet into a not so red planet anymore. Over the course of 200 years, Mars has been terraformed to some extent. Allowing the planet to be self sustaining, with it's technological boosts. However, with the coming of the infection. The planet was one of the first in line to take on anyone who managed to run away from their home in attempt to live. Though they knew this may lead to a great destabilization of the planets current natural resources, they still took in who they could, and even gave them a district to themselves. The district was fine for a few years, but as predicted by the President of the Federation, the planet like many of the other colonies couldn't keep their earth brothers on it long. And so the Federation moved to help reclaim the planet, willing to join the recapture mission it was more then happy to use it's military strength to do so if need be. It's less violent colonial cousins would probably have looked down upon it's build. But in the end. Mars only wished to help Earth, once more belong to the species it was supposed to belong to. Those of earth.
November Terra was born into a rather rich family on Mars. They were one of the district owners for the most part, and her father was a rather well awarded Admiral. Over all, it would have been the life anyone could have hoped for. That is, if it wasn't for the rigorous hunt for potential “Ghost” candidates.
A ghost was a simply name for a very complex and duty bound job made by the federation military. To join in it to start off, you needed to have been born with a high quantum or psi reading. The ability to interact with objects with your mind to even being able to mind read or melt peoples minds were all on the list. As mankind moved forward, more individuals with these abilities began to appear. The reason is based on humans evolving to space. But they merely don't know fully about it. The ghost program begins the moment a human is detected to have even the slightest above average amount of awareness in this form. As such, it isn't uncommon for 5 year olds to be taken from their families and put into the training program to teach them how to use their powers properly.
The public generally didn't see a problem with this. As the Martian Federation has more then once pointed out the problems with leaving these children to their own desires. Often leading to catastrophic events, as killing their entire family in a Quantum or Psionic rage, because they didn't get that one toy. Or melting the minds of their teachers for giving them a detention. Of course, these were all extremes, and for the most part this would have never happened. But it was better for people to fear it then not.
As such, November was very empathetic at a young age. Her abilities being potent enough to read minds, sense emotions and more at the age of 5. This potency made her father and family generally fear her. As such at the age of 5, her father called up some contacts and so began her life in the Ghost training facility.
For the most part the training was intense. A ghost, was an assassin. A sword for the government and military. Designed to take down targets from a distance, or in close range if need be. Trained in all fields of combat they were formidable foes. The most elite of the Federation, however this wasn't the only reason they were so powerful. They were given training to control their rather high quantum/psi waves. Allowing them to achieve feats that many wouldn't think so much about. The reason why ghosts are called such for example, was the ability to hide themselves, cloak themselves using their suits as a means to do so. The camo was to say the least, perfect. If you see at only as not being able to be seen. Other wise one could still hear, or smell them. They still give off heat to top it all off.
November made many friends while in training, and like most trained until they were deemed worthy of graduating. For her this was at the age 17, though there was one more “gift” from the federation. A mind wipe. A means to make all their assassins loyal to them, and no one else. By erasing all that didn't pertain to their training, and to loyalty to the federation and it's desires.
Mecha/"Infected" sectionName: Viking Armored Mechanical Hybrid (Viking for short)
Description: A transformable hybrid suit designed for both flight combat as a air superiority. Giving it the needed weapons for it's superiority a nice range and a good ability to handle almost all G's thrown at it. It's secondary mode, is a bi-pedaled walker mode. Though the transformation can be done at any time, and will most often then not, subjugate the pilot to massive G's. The Aerial form brings out a good amount of speed and armor. Allowing for a general good air superiority.
The Viking was designed with versatility in mind, down to the letter. Most moving parts in the vehicle can be replaced with easy-to-find spares, and even the complex servo systems located in the arms and legs are interchangeable. It is not uncommon for Viking pilots to ditch an arm in order to replace a damaged leg servo and return to battle. However, while the Viking's versatility is its greatest asset, it is also one of its drawbacks. Few pilots are able to handle both combat modes and the majority of Viking pilots are killed in their first battle.
Those that remain are generally the best of the best, often having solemn memories of their friends or allies they lost.
Using picture math. The Viking Stands around 6.13 meters high.(approx)
weapons/skills/Abilities: The viking comes equiped with a variety of missiles, and twin high caliber and fire rating gatling guns.
