“Yeah,” Rebecca said with a laugh. “I did not leave home just to clean floors or stand around in a hole in the floor all night. We should come back here, though. Nothing would spice up our room more than a giant glowing crystal if you ask me. I mean, I guess we’d have to figure how to get it out of here and how to turn it off, but-” With the Ralts’ tendency to ramble matched only by her attention span, she cut herself off as soon as she saw the extraordinarily fluffy Growlithe appear with what appeared to be an explorer’s badge on him.

“Wow, that was fast.” Rebecca noted. “So how does that work, exactly? Does your teleporter badge work? Because ours stopped for some silly reason.” She wondered if there was some sort of way of improving these things, and if there was, if there was a market to corner with them. 'Explorer Badge EX: From the onslaughts of rampaging Elder Gods to running away like a coward, it’ll stand by you through thick and thin!' She decided she probably shouldn’t market products of any kind, excluding hypothetical ones, though she still thought it was a nice idea.

The ice covering the city was proven to be unnatural just from the fact that Kamina couldn't do anything to stop it. Hm... a legendary pokemon that can create ice... maybe this is Articuno's doing? Nah... that doesn't seem right, Articuno seems perfectly content just appearing to announce winter, or whatever... but, who would do this? I think as I move around the once probably great city, and look at the occasional shocked expression, or horrified face. Whatever caused this took them by surprise, and must have been pretty scary. I guess just the faces of horror and shock alone means that this could only have been a legendary pokemon... that means we'd need another legendary pokemon's power to stop it... maybe. I think as I continue to inspect the area, trying to see if I could find ANYTHING at all that might point me to who or what did this, however, all I could find was snow, ice, and frozen-shut buildings. A strange kirlia seems to approach Anthony from his left, and teleports away after saying something to him. I was just about to ask if anyone had any ideas about this when Anthony just blurted out "This is all Kyurem's fault! We need to wake up Reshiram, Kyurem's brother, or something, to fix it... of course, Kyurem's also mad about something, so, maybe we'll have to help out Reshiram against him?" I was just about to ask where I could find Reshiram, and Anthony, as if he was psychic said "We can find Reshiram at the top of Sunrise Tower... it's off to the west, and it's actually not too far from here," Anthony then headed off in that direction, however, he was slow thanks to Kamina removing Anthony from his head in order to try to melt the ice block surrounding a hapless horsea. I then finally noted "It's kinda getting late, we should probably get some rest, right?" Anthony... finally stopped at that, and started placing a few twigs that he found on the ground before looking around to see if anyone could light them.

[Anthony]

I listened in to all the conversations until Kamina removed me from his head to try to melt the ice surrounding Kiera, Josh's girlfriend. It failed, however, and I ended up saying "Don't worry, Josh, I'm sure there's a way to help her... hey, a legendary started it, maybe another legendary can stop it, right?" hopefully, I cheered up Josh a little bit, but honestly, I didn't have much faith in what I just said... for all I knew, there was no breaking this ice, or melting it for that matter. Spruce wandered off from the group, probably trying to freeze to death, or something, given his type, and after what I can only assume was him trying to 'inspect the land', a strange kirlia approached me and spoke to me in a familiar voice... "I see that you are the ones who got my message... if not, then at least you can see the plight of my village. I am the only one who avoided being frozen, and I've been trying to get help since, well, THIS happened. It is because of Kyurem, who was once our protector. As of late, however, he's been overtaken by some strange energy, and this was the result of that," I then started to ask her something, but she simply continued "I'm afraid that the only way to reverse this is to reawaken Reshiram, one part of the same entity that Kyurem once was... he can be found in Sunrise Tower, west of here, it's not far," I then nodded, and she teleported away. "Guys, we're heading west. Sunrise tower, gotta wake up Reshiram and save this town," I then headed west, and Spruce seemed to be trying to ask me a few questions, which I just answered before he even had the chance. I was moving somewhat slowly thanks to Kamina still not putting me back on his head, however.

[Nina]

I was about to start commenting how I'd like one of those crystals in my room, but, out of nowhere, a growlithe with a badge appeared. I honestly expected some slobber, and an over-excited tone of voice, but I didn't get any of that. I then overheard Rebecca asking whether or not his badge worked, and I actually started thinking about just how random an arbitrary the 'badge states' are... if you were in the middle of a dungeon, but just so happened to have completed a 'mission' in said dungeon, you'd be able to teleport even if you were in the middle of a monster house, however, if you didn't finish it yet, and there wasn't a single wild pokemon in sight, you wouldn't be able to teleport back without losing everything due to some sort of 'emergency' function. It didn't make any sense, but at least a guild member has finally found us... and we won't have to clean anything, at least, not yet. "So, back to the old guild, right? Kinda funny how we're an exploration TEAM, and yet we had to get saved by a single explorer on his own, though, huh? Well... what we just had to deal with... er... will do that to you, I guess," I tried to not name anything, or detail any sort of specifics, and if he asked about specific details, I'd keep them about as vague as possible. I felt like this was the sort of knowledge that shouldn't just be spread around town, at least, not until we've figured everything out. For some reason, I felt like it was late, and I was already getting hungry. I wished that our rescuer would hurry up and finish his mission, already.

Kamina attempted to thaw Kiera out by coiling around her and lighting himself on fire. Unfortunately, though, this didn't seem to have any effect on the ice at all, let alone thaw her out. Anthony tried to cheer Josh up a little, and as much as he appreciated it, it didn't help that much. They had no way of knowing whether or not the ice was permanent, and even if it wasn't, it would be extremely difficult to find a legendary who was willing to thaw everyone out.

A Kirlia then teleported in, and began telling something to Anthony. Apparently, she told him that only Reshiram could reverse this, and he was in a place known Sunrise Tower. He then began to head west, before Spruce stopped him, and suggested they get some rest first, since it was getting late.
"We leave for Sunrise Tower first thing in the morning." Josh said. Hopefully it wouldn't take them too long to reach Reshiram, and hopefully they'd be able to convince him to help.

[Dexter]
Nina was being pretty vague about what happened out there. Dexter just assumed that they got attacked by a bunch of Rattata or something and had to teleport away.
"Alright, let's get this over with." He said, aiming his badge at Nina, then at her teammate, teleporting both of them back to the guild. He then did the same to himself.

The guild was pretty empty, which was probably due to how late it was. Everyone else had probably already eaten and went to bed.
"I highly doubt they've got any food left. Can't hurt to try, though." Dexter said, heading for the mess hall.
Luckily for him, they still had a little bit left. He picked a seat in the almost empty mess hall and began eating.

Kamina

Well...this was disappointing. As much as Kamina believed that with enough time and guts, he could thaw her out, he was also sure that by that time they could have gotten Reshiram's help to thaw out everyone...so, yeah. While Kamina might have been a slightly insane Gyarados with the firm belief that his limits could be broken with the right amount of determination...he at least understood that it took time to do. Time that they didn't have to waste, especial since they had a quicker alternative. So with a mighty sigh, Kamina let her (what was her name again?) go "alright, I understand. It would just take too long for me to free her. I'm sorry Josh." Although he didn't forget about Anthony, as he quickly scooped him up and plopped him down on his head. Although it was nice that the person who sent Anthony the message was here to confirm that they did in fact contact him. While Kamina always believed that he was both telling the truth, and not crazy, it was always nice to have tangible proof of these things.

Celes, who was still shivering from the cold earlier, start to move and grab sticks around, understanding that it was getting late and that they needed to make camp for the night. To pray though that they would not end up like the people in this village. Reshiram... they were going to be meeting up with Reshiram. This was something that was going to be rather interesting. Meeting with a legendairy pokemon like that. Lets just say you didn't do that every day. She looked around more and added to Anthony's pile of twigs. They had to be warm during the night. Sure, Kamina might be able to help and keep everyone warm during the night, with how his body was, but would it be enough? She was unsure. After having enough sticks, she leaned on the ground and closed her eyes, wanting to rest a bit right now. Tomorrow morning they would continue. At least, she hoped so.

Some of us wandered around for clues but to no avail, disappointment under the veil of the harsh blizzard that didn't seem to go away any time soon. I just floated around and inspected myself for damage, cringing somewhat as ice began to build up on a patch of missing metal. That'll probably give me nasty rusting once we get back, but at least the pain's gone away. Well, I don't mean while I'm bleeding on the floor, I mean back then when I wasn't such a fool. It seemed as if we'd have to bug out and call for help, but behold our saviour: a Kirlia (a small one at that, unabated by the snow)

"Er, anyone willing to question the fact some Pokemon appeared and disappeared out of nowhere?" I asked sheepishly, as everyone seemed convinced that there was no other alternative. Besides, I couldn't argue with their logic, since on Anthony's long-range hunch we were able to find an entire village covered in ice. Hopefully we'd be paid well for this. I rustled my feathers- no, I just wriggled in the air, almost stupidly following Anthony until I realised we would be staying for the night. I REALLY needed rest, especially as I wasn't fully healed from that earlier incident, propping myself on an empty frozen cart and rolling on my backside. Everyone seemed as worried as... each other, unsure of what's next come tomorrow. Just what would a legendary do to help us when there's all these dungeons popping up and spreading? I get it to save Josh's friend, but I really hope that's a good enough reason to swoop down and warm up the town. Assuming we manage to drive out the thing that's causing this big freeze.

“Finally,” Rebecca said as she arrived back in the guild, lackadaisically twirling around to take in take in the atmosphere. “Home sweet home. Now all that’s left to do is rest and hope I don’t start having any horrible recurring...-” Her stomach rumbled loudly. Oh yeah, that too... She followed the Growlithe to the dining room, deciding that being rescued was a good enough excuse for hanging out for a little while. The Ralts grabbed some of what little food remained this late in the day and sat down next to who she decided was a friend, even if he did seem to be a little more business-minded than she was.

“So,” Rebecca said in between bites. “What’s your name? Do you usually work alone, or are you on a team like we are?” She stifled a small yawn, the energy from the food unable to completely stave off her exhaustion.

After helping with Anthony's fire by placing a few of my own vine whips into it, I head over to Celes, who was already falling asleep, and do just that, right next to her... mainly to warm up. I give a yawn, and drift off into sleep while the fire was still a roaring blaze... unfortunately, such comfort wasn't around when I woke up, as the fire had died down, and I was freezing, just as well as I seemed to be practically hugging Celes by the time I got up. Embarrassed, I let go of her, and took a few steps away. Thankfully, it seemed like only Anthony was up, and he was already eating his other pastry. I decided to do the same, and noticed that the pastry was stale, but still pretty good. Not nearly as amazing as it was earlier, but still pretty good. Anthony headed off in some direction, but I stopped him, saying "I don't think we'll get very far without the rest of the teams, Anthony," Anthony tried to counter that with "Well, we'd waste a lot less time if we leave them here," then he finally saw some sense, and added "But... there are apparently fire and dragon types in that tower... yeah, we wouldn't get very far, would we?" I nodded, and he took a seat next to Kamina, as if already waiting to get on his head, while I decided to take a seat next to Celes, as per usual. It probably won't be too long before everyone's up, and ready to go, right? I looked around the area, the ice and snow having taken pretty much the entire city, but, given where we were that was kind of expected... then again, apparently, they used to get some sort of protection from the ice from a certain pokemon, and now, that pokemon's mad at them.

[Bonnie]

Morning finally came, and for some reason, I felt like I've been asleep for even longer than usual. I get up, and notice that the ground was MUCH farther away than it usually was. I then remembered something Oh yeah, I evolved yesterday. I wonder if everyone's going to look short now. That'll be funny, later. I then head off towards the dining room just so I could get a few chesto berries for everyone on my team. Eralion, Tini, and of course, myself. While I might have been the first in my team to wake up, that was hardly the case where the entire guild was concerned, as the line to get food stretched all the way out to the guildmaster's office. "Well, I guess I'm not getting breakfast anytime soon..." I thought out loud, and the loudred in front of me whose name I never really learned shouted back "YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, MISSY!" He was so loud, I had to cover my ears just so it didn't hurt... wait, wasn't he usually in charge of waking the other pokemon up? Where was he earlier today? Maybe he tried to get breakfast for himself before waking anyone else up, but obviously, if he tried to do that, his plan backfired, as he was only one spot in front of me, and I woke up a bit later than I usually do. Once the line finally got to me, I asked for my three chesto berries, and wondered where the rest of my team went... where William went, and where Samuel ran off to. These questions bugged me as I haven't seen them in a while, and, apparently, nobody else has, either. Heck, I decided to ask someone about that, and only got a "Nope, haven't seen those two in a loooong time," as a response, meaning that, at the very least, they weren't in the guild for just as long.

[Nina]

Rebecca was just about to talk about having a recurring nightmare when her own stomach interrupted her, and we all headed off to the dining room to have dinner. I sat next to Rebecca, as per usual, and asked "Y'know, we haven't had any other reliable teammates since Levita left... do you think you could join us?" I then remembered an old teammate, and added "Heck, I haven't even seen Chip, but, maybe that weird cocoon thing in the corner of our room is him, or something... anyways, if you do want to join, we're listed under 'Team Crescendo', but I think Rebecca's the only one on the team with any musical talent," I then finished my meal, and headed off to bed... only to get woken up the next day by a familiar bronzor, who, after waking me up, asked "So... did you find any... information?" I groggily asked "Wha...?" before my brain finally woke up, and I said "Yeah... some sort of weird... rectangle thing... it attacked us, and killed a buneary who disobeyed its orders... I dunno who we're messing with, but they're probably strong," the bronzor seemed to just disappear after that, apparently not wanting any additional information from Rebecca, though, even I could tell that she probably had more information that I did right now. I then made sure she was awake before adding "Well, that was rude of him, leaving you out of this... as if you don't have any more information on this thing..." after that, I looked around for that growlithe who ended up rescuing us, and wondering whether or not he was going to join my team... of course, I was also waiting in line for breakfast, which... was going to take a while.

Brrr. I had a nasty dream involving pixels and excessive mining, then it became a (relaxing) nightmare over skeletons, flowers and the underground. Glad it was over almost as soon as I slept, waking wearily to a cold start. Again, I liked the cold, but it wasn't exactly good for healing... I mean, there was a large wound that had since frozen over. I was worried that it might lead to some nasty infection, though considering earlier incidents involving shadows and feathers, I would probably be alright. That didn't stop the feeling of pain and fatigue when I rose though, better than yesterday but only just. I really needed to eat something to get myself in a better position for our next fight. I snorted and rubbed my eye, wiping away snow as I observed a haze in the sky. It seemed as if none of the clouds had departed, leaving behind a frozen and creepy town, still being layered by snow and ice. The things that moved were us, in our sleep of course. The fire had since died out, as if its spark went away with our sleep.

My eye twitched towards shuffling sounds in the snow, but that was just Spruce brushing off snow that had covered him like a blanket in his sleep. Seriously, why didn't we bring any blankets? We're adventurers, we may as well prepare like one. Kamina mysteriously left a set radius of thawed yet mulched grass around himself, hinting at the consequences of forced thawing of the entire village (assuming it was even possible). I watched as Spruce began telling Anthony to await the rest of our crew, but it seemed to bring up a bit of tension between himself and Spruce. I'd like to assume even similar leaders tend to get into toxic relationships, simply because they both want a degree of power, which is what... explained to me as being a cause to some war. Darn it, I forgot his name already. I'm sure it was David or something. I had no idea I could forget someone so easily, someone so hurtful...

Enough of that. I don't have time to reminiscent while I bleed out on this marble floor. We needed to get to places, find a HELPFUL legendary and get this place restored. Maybe we'll be recognised as heroes and be taken out for free dinner or something. Either way, helpful for our ultimate plan to stop Desia... somehow. I'll admit it's probably just my plan. Assuming I even have a plan. Whatever.

Kamina

Kamina woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day (and anyone or anything else for that matter). "AHHHHHH! It never ceases to amaze me how...refreshing a long night sleep is, it's easy to see why everyone does it. So, remind me what the plan was for today; we were going to beat up the guy causing this, right? There was something about Legendaries too, wasn't there? Ah, now I remember; the guy causing this is a Legendary, and we have to beat him up! It's a tall order, but I'm up for the challenge. Although...I'm starting to remember something about another Legendary...was he going to help us beat up the first one, or something?" Kamina quickly noticed Anthony on the floor near him. Without saying anything, he scooped him up, and set him down on his head "there you go"

---
Tini

We now return to Tini's dream, already in progress. Just be thankful you don't have to sit through the whole thing, that way lies madness

"-something everyone else overlooked; the cookies." Tini was currently in an upside-down tower suspended in mid air. Around him were a group of strange Pokemon.

"We've already discussed the cookies, we found them to be irrelevant" said a Smeargle with two eye-patches

"That we did, but you've all forgotten something vital; they're raisin cookies."

"So?" Asked an Alakazam that was far more buff then any Alakazam had a right to be "that doesn't mean any-" and suddenly his eyes, as well as the eyes of everyone else in the room but Tini's, widened in realization "no...but that means"

Tini nodded his head solemnly "I'm afraid it does. Put together with everything we know, there is only one rational conclusion we can come to. Edwardo, if you would?" he gestured to a bald Mankey

"Ayude, no puedo eascpe! Este lugar es una locura, este podría ser el infierno?" Was his response

"Exactly" Tini said

"Are..are you trying to say that all this time-" someone from the crowed started to ask

"I am. It's tragic, but it's the truth; we were all lied to by the baron."

"I will not stand for this, I say we charge the baron's keep and make him answer for this!" A Togepi with an afro said in a voice way too deep to come out of a creature as small as it.

"YEAH!!!" Was the general concessions

Tini found himself suddenly awake "Awww, it was just getting good. Oh well, I can wait until the next night." Getting out of bed, he saw that only Bonnie was awake. As much as he wanted to go and get something to eat, he didn't want poor Eralion to wake up all alone, so he decided to wait for him.

Celes slowly woke up and was shivering a bit as she then got up.
"Brrr... still as cold... I wish I had more fur..." she then says before looking at everyone calmly. She hears what was being said by Spruce and Anthony, and sighed before going in her bag and eating a small piece of pastry that she had left. It was best to get something in her stomach this morning at least. This day though might end up bad if they were to stay in the cold all day. She looked at everyone.
"Let us head there soon when everyone is awake... the more time we stay in position, the most risk we have of freezing like the people of this town." she then says, worried right now. Seriously, if she were to stay here for longer, she might end up as a ice type sylveon... or simply a iced sylveon.

Eralion slowly woke up the next day, and stretched, before seeing Tini and smile softly.
"Morning Tini..." he then says, before looking at himself and remembering last days even. He sighed.
"And now... I am the smallest pokemon in the team... great..." he says sarcasticly. He hoped he would evolve soon. Being that small was kinda... make him uneasy compare to his team. It made it seem like he was weak and unable to defend himself. At least that what he though. It would make him possibly the target of attacks.. which in other hand, might make him able to use counter properly if this were to happen. But he had to think a bout that. He got up and headed to... the line to get food. He stares.
"Did I sleep that long? Dang..." he then says.

[Josh]
By the time Josh woke up, the fire had died down, since nobody bothered to tend to it through the night. Because of this, it was freezing, and since Josh was a Dragon-type, he didn't handle the cold very well. The fact that he was used to a warm, tropical climate didn't help, either. The only ones in the group that didn't seem to be bothered by the cold were Matt and Kamina.

He decided to talk to Kiera before they left. He wasn't sure if she was still conscious, let alone if she could hear him, but it was worth a shot.
"Kiera, can you hear me?" Josh said. "We're going to find Reshiram, and if everything goes according to plan, he'll thaw out this village. We'll get you out of here, I promise."

Everyone had woken up by that point. He hadn't eaten in a while, so he quickly ate one of the pastries he got at the bakery before they left. Doing this mission on an empty stomach wouldn't be a good idea.

[Dexter]
When Dexter sat down to eat, he was soon joined by the team he'd just rescued. They asked him a few questions, most of which he had no problems answering.
"I'm Dexter." He said in response to Rebecca's question. "I used to be in a team, but they ended up disappearing not too long after we first registered. I've been on my own ever since."
Nina then offered to let Dexter join their team.
"I really need to think about that for a bit. I'll let you know tomorrow."

He wasn't sure if he wanted to accept Nina's offer or not. Sunswept Plains was one of the most beginner-friendly dungeons out there. If Nina and Rebecca had to teleport away from there, how could they possibly handle the more difficult dungeons? On the other hand, team arrangements weren't permanent. If they ended up holding him back, he could leave the team just as easily as he joined it. On top of that, finding another team would be difficult, especially given his history.

The next day, Dexter ran into Nina while she was waiting in line for breakfast.
"Hey." He said. "I decided I'm gonna join your team. For now, anyway."

Rebecca nodded when Nina asked if Dexter could join Team Crescendo, feeling like they were really in synch for a moment, even if their persuasive teamwork wasn’t as effective as she’d hoped.

“Well then,” Rebecca said as she began to leave. “I hope you come back with a really well- thought out reason to join the team!” She had to admit that she didn’t do a lot of composing, and mostly just sung whatever song was stuck in her head at the time. Her mother used to play the piano for her all the time, though, which was probably where she got it from. Sighing, she opened the door to her team’s room and flopped down on the bed. She was having trouble going to sleep again, so she pulled out her book again and tried to draw the horrific monster that they’d found in the plains. It was actually kind of tedious, considering that it basically looked like a couple of rectangles stuck together that were made out of more squares. Still, she thought she did a pretty good job. She wrote “NOPE” above the drawing before depositing it back in her bag. Though she had trouble staying asleep, she eventually managed to drift off until morning.

“Huh?” The groggy Ralts asked as she fell out of bed. “Oh, yeah… that guy. So he totally didn’t pay us or anything yet, did he? He probably didn’t…” She eventually recovered and left with Nina, ranting about how the way things were like she usually did. She stopped when she noticed Dexter approaching, eager to hear his response.

“Neat!” Rebecca said once he spoke. “We won’t let each other down, right? Well, I guess we’ll find out once we go out on a mission today. Hopefully it goes better than the last one… um… Thanks again for helping out with that, by the way…”

Everyone woke up, finally and Kamina picked up Anthony just so his slow speed won't hold us all back, as per usual. "Alright, let's... GO!" I end up shouting just due to the fact that I was excited to finally get out of the cold. Sure, I'll eventually grow to hate the heat, but for now, nothing in the world sounded better. I continued west until the snow thinned, showing grass, and then just showing dry, cracked soil. It was a strangely short walk for this sort of change in climate, but, the tower looming in the distance, if everything was true, was most likely the cause of this. The tower looked to be made of brass, or some other copper-colored metal, and it reflected sunlight just as well as such. I could see flames shooting out of one of the many openings in the place which really can't be safe for the inhabitants. Unfortunately, my eyesight wasn't good enough for me to tell what kind of pokemon made those flames, but it was intimidating, nonetheless. "Heh... hey, M, if that last place was heaven for you, then this place.. well, I'm sure you can tell where I'm going with this. Also, at least you HAVE a place where you actually enjoy being on this adventure," After saying that, I start walking on the rickety bridge that leads to the place, my extremely light weight coming in handy as I approach the fiery, coppery tower of fire. I can only hope that the others will be just as lucky, as I really didn't want the thing to break on anyone. Unfortunately, this was just about when the heat started to become unbearable. The air seemed somewhat thick, and almost seemed suffocating, though, I knew it was still perfectly breathable.

[Anthony]

After everyone finally woke up, and Kamina picked me up again, we started heading to the west, where the temperature seemed to spike for some reason. Well, okay, I knew the reason, the temperature spiked because of the legendary dragon of fire, Reshiram. The tower itself was an amazing sight, if a little too bright due to its reflective qualities. There was a rickety, wooden bridge leading to the place, and apparently, its residents liked to breathe fire out through the various openings in the tower. Not only was the bridge unsafe, but just being in the tower itself carries a risk of either frying due to how hot metal can get, or falling if you make it past the second floor or so... and Arceus help you if you fall into the chasm below this place. Spruce, as suicidally confident as ever, decided to actually head towards the thing before anyone else could, as if he knew he was going to be used as a test for the bridge. Luckily, only him, Kamina, Celes, and I really needed to cross the bridge, as everyone else could either levitate or fly. I would have asked Matt to carry someone over, but, I remembered the incident with Blaze and Terra and figured that I already knew the answer to that: 'No, sorry, I can't'. I could have just used my stickiness to climb down the wall, head towards the tower from the chasm, and then climb back up the other side, but that would have taken forever. Instead, I just waited for Spruce, and commented "This place is a deathtrap..." to whoever could hear me at the time. Spruce seemed to already be halfway across the bridge, and everything seemed to be going okay, but I didn't want to test the bridge any more than we had to, just to avoid casualties.

[Bonnie]

Eventually, I made my way to the front of the line, and ordered three breakfasts. One for me, one for Tini, and last but not least, one for Eralion. They all consisted of the same thing, some random stuff, an apple, and a chesto berry, which I carried back to my team's room. Apparently, Eralion was amazed at just how long the line had gotten, or didn't know that I was going to get breakfast, as he seemed to be standing in it. I hand him his plate first, and say "There you go, all the food, half the waiting. I ordered one for each of us... also, you look like a little teddy bear at this height," I chuckle at my observation, and head into the team's room, where Tini was. He was thankfully awake, so I wouldn't hear ramblings about 'Steve', or these things called 'squirrels'. I handed him his breakfast, and said "Alright, since everyone's awake, we can go take on a mission. I don't know why, but I feel like I could take on the entire world if I needed to, today," I then sat down where my bed usually was, and started eating while thinking Yeah... I really do feel more motivated to go and do things than I've ever been today. What's wrong with me? Does this happen every time you evolve? If so... then life must be weird for pokemon that evolve multiple times. I finished my meal in record time, and rushed off to the mission board just to see if there was anything interesting to do today. Nothing seemed to really stick out to me, at least, not right now, but maybe I'd figure something out, soon. A few strange pokemon, specifically a kadabra, a kirlia, and a hypno head towards the mission board, but seem oddly repelled by my presence. "Uh... hi?" I said in a somewhat awkward tone, as I was confused about the whole ordeal, to which the kadabra responded "Dark one... please move so we may access the board without having our minds bombarded by your corrupted thoughts," I looked at them even more confused, and decided to move over a bit, not wanting to get in their way... what was THAT all about?

[Nina]

Rebecca brought up the fact that we never got our pay, and I added "Yeah! Didn't he say we were going to get paid for this? For his sake, I REALLY hope he's just an airhead, and he didn't cheap us out," I was still somewhat mad about this when Dexter visited us and told us that he was joining the team. I actually tried to calm myself down before saying anything, else I might mess up and say something in a tone that would drive Dexter away. "Alright! We're a trio again... wait... 'for now'... what's that supposed to mean? You really don't trust us, huh? Ah, well, if you leave, you leave, I guess," I was too happy about having another teammate to think about them leaving again, and us being back down to two members again, and to keep my mind even further away from that thought, I ran to the board, picking out a mission involving a natu whose abra friend got lost somewhere on Mt. Dragoncoil, and... from whatever details the natu could get, it seems like the abra was lost somewhere near the top of the place, too. I claim the mission and head back down. "Alright, I got us a mission. It's on Mt. Dragoncoil, apparently some abra got lost near the top of that place, and we're supposed to go find them," After announcing the mission to my teammates, I ran back out, and headed towards Scale city, which was at the foot of Mt. Dragoncoil. It wasn't very hard to get there, at least, not after the world rearranged itself, as now, all we had to do was get past Sunswept plains... I then remembered the horror I saw there, and shivered for a moment. We're not going to run into that thing again... we're NOT going to run into that thing again... I reassured myself as I slowed my pace, a little bit, if nothing else, then to let Rebecca take the lead.

Spruce seemed to become as determined as Anthony, because I didn't hear him shouting for ages when it came to leaving a place. I just shrugged my magnets to rub off ice as I began following their lead, floating meekly since I hadn't healed properly from last night. "Anyone got any food or anything like that? I feel terrible right now." I asked, as we began walking to the outskirts of the lost town. My body tensed up against a quick change of climate, metal expanding and reopening some old wounds from last night. It didn't help my weakly glowing scar also seemed to give off a bit of pain, finally causing me to collapse once more and dunk right onto the rough dirt. "Argh... Arceus..." I said, propping myself up with my magnetic claws and trying to float again, trembling with large amounts of pain. Metal scabs on my body compacted right into the wounds, as if someone just drove knives into me. "Okay... okay..." I had laboured breathing but I continued onwards, too stubborn to accept help. It seemed as if the purple scar was trying to influence my decisions once more as I moved forwards, only to limp in silence and trundling against Spruce. "Arceus damn it... apologies Spruce, I'm not really at the peak of my health." His words earlier grated at me, while all I could do was leer at the looming tower of fire and metal. Everything about this new place was wrong, a literal Hell for me...

[Josh]
At first, Josh was enjoying the change in temperature. After almost freezing to death, the warmth of this area was a very welcome change. The closer they got to the tower, though, the warmer it got. By the time they got to the bridge leading to the tower, it was unbearably hot. Josh figured he would be able to handle it, at least until they reached the top of the tower, but he couldn't say the same for some of his teammates.

They had a bigger problem at the moment, though. The bridge seemed unstable and dangerous, and to make matters worse, it was the only way they could get to the tower. Even though Josh could simply float over to the other side, there were a few people in the group that couldn't. Spruce seemed light enough to cross safely, and even though Anthony and Celes were a bit heavier, they might still make it. Kamina would be a problem, though. There was no way this bridge was stable enough to hold him.

"How are we going to get Kamina over there?" Josh asked. "He weighs at least 500 pounds. There's no way he'll be getting across without it breaking."
He started thinking for a moment. There might be a way to get Kamina across without the bridge, but Josh had nothing. He looked towards Matt, thinking he might have a solution, but unfortunately he seemed just as puzzled as Josh was.

[Dexter]
Nina decided to choose a mission on Mt. Dragoncoil. It wouldn't be a difficult dungeon, since they had a Fairy-type with them. It would give Dexter an opportunity to see if these two knew their way around a fight, though. What happened in this next mission would determine whether or not he would stay on this team.

In order to get to Mt. Dragoncoil, they had to get through Sunswept Plains first. For some reason, Nina seemed to be unsettled by something.
"There's nothing but Rattatas out here." Dexter said. "I don't know what the hell you're afraid of."

Celes smiled softly as they started to approach the tower, her eyes looking around as the snow melted. She breathed in deeply at the warmer air, the snow around her fur melting down.
"Ahhhh... this is better... I though we would never get out of this cold. " she says before looking at M, who actually was having difficulty in this heat. For him, it was actually hell cause he liked the cold... probably cause he was steel type and that he has less difficulty in the cold then others. She then though about something and chuckle softly. Would probably be the same for her... but it was funny to think that a eevee would evolve into a steel type. What... it would be slow as heck cause of how heavy it would be? Sure if would be resistant... but unless it would be a exception, steel type, especially pure steel, are not known for their speed, more for their defense. She breath deeply.
"Hang in there M. After we are done here, we will be back into the cold probably to go fight Kyurem." she then says smiling at him..

Eralion smiles as Bonnie brought him the food, having considered her whole team. He moved out of the line and went to eat... only to hear what she said and then blush. A teddy bear... god... he hoped to evolve soon, cause it was awkward to be the smallest thing in the team right now. He moved and ate quickly, finishing his food before walking towards the mission board... and hearing what the psychic types and what they said. I frown at them.
"Hey, not her fault she is like that. With the suffering she had in the past, I would give her a bit more respect!" he then says... actually confident, not caring too much that they were psychic types. Sure... they could hurt him... but by doing that... the whole guild would probably help to teach a lesson here to that team. And with what they just said, it was just wrong. Corrupted mind and thoughts.... sure.. you guys just can't handle that she had so much pain in her past... geez

Kamina

A tower dedicated to fire itself (okay, maybe not...but try telling that to Kamina), this entire place sung to Kamina's very soul. In fact, he almost felt at home here "ahhhh, now this is nice. Whoever designed this tower sure knows their stuff. It has a real homey feel to it. In fact, I could almost see myself living here." Something that hadn't occurred to him was that as someone with the Fire and Water Types, Fire attacks would do practically nothing to him. That was probably the reason why he felt so at easy here (well, that and he's Kamina). However, he soon recalled that his teammates didn't feel as at ease around fire as he did 'Oh...that's right. Well that really sucks, and here I thought that we were all going to have such a good time here' Kamina addressed the others "don't worry guys, everything is going to be just fine. After all; you've got me here with you." Just then, something occurred to him "oh yeah...the bridge. How the hell am I going to get across that?"

---
Tini

Getting some food in him felt really nice. Tini always liked eating (although nothing could compare to the wonder of cookies), as it was an easy way to send happiness straight to his belly, and throughout the rest of his body. He was to preoccupied with his food to contribute much to the conversation, but he did take notice of Eralion blushing 'is he sick? I hope not...it would feel really crummy if we couldn't adventure with him today.' Once he was finished eating, he made his way to his team at the mission board, where a group of Psychic Types were giving poor Boniie some guff.

"How...rude!" Tini was indignant (which looked extremely adorable to be honest). Giving the Psychic Types the stink eyes, he began mumbling to himself (ask not what he was mumbling, for that way lies madness). "Just ignore those rude meanies Bonnie, Eralion and I still love you" he told her as he crawled up her body, coiling himself around her in a full body hug "just let the bad feels melt away. My hugs shall smother them with love.

“Mountain climbing,” Rebecca repeated, “Mountain climbing in the morning. That oughta hit that early day lethargy right in the gut.” The Ralts could sense that Nina was far from eager to go out into another Mystery Dungeon, judging by the negative emotions she was giving off in droves, but given that they both knew why, and she didn’t really feel like talking about it yet, she refrained from bringing it up until Dexter did.

“Ok,” Rebecca said, “I’m not entirely sure what the hell it was, either, but it I can say with one hundred percent absolute certainty that whatever it was was not a Rattata. Like, if Rattatas were water, that thing would be oil… or rocks… or fire, or something…” Her thoughts quickly drifted from what the “best” opposite of water would be, and went back to thinking about the mysterious creature in question. It kind of reminded her of when Ergo’s computers weren’t working right (which happened more often than he liked to admit, though he always knew how fix it), but she didn’t think anyone would really understand what she meant if she told them that. She decided that it would be nice if they could work together and get a proper report of some sort written up. It'd be nice to have to wave around in that Bronzor's face when demanding some money, at the very least.

[Spruce]

I eventually make it to the other side, and feel like I'm on fire. I didn't even enter the tower yet, and I felt like that. Sure, I probably wasn't, but it was still horrible feeling that way. M obviously didn't like it here, and he seemed somewhat annoyed at me bringing it up. "No, I'm sorry. That was kind of a rude thing for me to say, huh?" I then waited for the rest of them to get here, with M being the only one who followed me over. He then asked if I had any food, and I dug through my bag, which only confirmed that no, I didn't have a single thing. "Uh... oh no... now I wish I didn't eat my last bit of food when I woke up," I said to him as I put my bag back on. I continued to wait for the others while making sure that the wild pokemon inside the tower didn't see me. Whatever was in there obviously liked the heat, and that fact spelled doom for me just as much as the icy forest spelled doom to me. Daniel and the rest of the group seemed to be trying to figure something out, and then it hit me. Kamina weighed about five hundred pounds, there's no way that bridge is stable enough to take his weight. I had some idea where everyone would try to float him over here, or, at least, the ones who could levitate or pick up things, which meant Josh, Matt, Daniel, M, and I would all try to get him over here, but I left it as a thought, and a bad one at that. There's no way we'd be able to pick him up when most of the pokemon in that group weighed less than twenty pounds, and might not be able to carry much more than that. I looked up at another stream of fire being released by some fire or dragon type or another, and thought about how useless I'd probably be in this place.

[Anthony]

Spruce made it across safely and M followed him across thanks to his ability to levitate. For some reason, Daniel stayed behind for now, and asked a serious question that was probably just him parroting what a few other members were asking at the time. "How the heck are we supposed to get Kamina across?" then it hit me... we couldn't pick him up, he couldn't just walk across, and he can't fly or levitate. Daniel then jokingly asked "How about he tries to splash his way over the bridge, huh?" at first, I wanted to just dismiss that, but then I thought for a moment... what if he didn't use splash, but used bounce, instead? The bridge might be short enough for that, and it's more likely that Kamina knows Bounce than that he'd keep the move Splash around from his days as a magikarp. I then wondered what, exactly Kamina would have been like as a magikarp. It would have been hilarious to see a magikarp say the same things that Kamina says now. All of his fiery passion... and he would have been a magikarp, one of the most notoriously depressed and lazy pokemon in the world. I then finally asked it "Kamina, do you think you could Bounce over there? As in, do you know the move 'Bounce'? I think that might be one way to get you across," Daniel then landed next to Kamina, and seemed to be analyzing him. "You sure about that, Anthony? I mean, I suggested Splash as a joke, because, you know, he used to be a magikarp and everything... I'm not sure if he can actually jump to the other side, even if he uses Bounce," I then added "You try telling him that, now that we've gotten the idea in his head... shoot... what have I done?" I then tried to keep my distance, knowing that I could easily get over the bridge, myself, and Kamina might not want any extra weight on his head when he bounces... that, and I didn't want to end up in the chasm, myself.

[Bonnie]

The psychic types didn't pay any attention to my teammates' words and just picked out a mission. I figured out which mission it was, and remembered that it was the same mission I was almost planning to get, myself. Tini's hug stopped me from doing anything about it, however, and I just decided to try to pick out another, less interesting mission as a result of them taking the good one when I moved out of their way. I ended up picking a mission about a lost nidorino on Mt. Dragoncoil and showing that to my friends. "Sorry, but this is all I could really find right now... the reward is supposedly an oran berry, so that'll be nice, right?" I tried to cheer myself up a bit, and it seemed as if some of my motivation was gone just from the fact that I had to go with a more mundane mission. I can't think like that... all these other pokemon need help. If they're going to help out with the mysterious thief, then that's for the better, just so long as they can handle that guy. I just need to think about this poor nidorina who got separated from her boyfriend on some mountain somewhere. Yeah, I'll make sure he's safe and sound! I thought, finally cheering myself back up, and getting myself motivated to head out, again, this time for Mt. Dragoncoil to find a lost love interest. All I really had to do to get there, too, was get past Sunswept plains and go around Scale City. With what happened last time I tried to go through Scale City, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get through the place without getting myself hopelessly lost again. Oddly enough, on the way, I passed by a group consisting of a ralts, a female nidoran, and a growlithe. They seemed to have badges on, which means that they were probably fellow explorers, but... they could be from the other guild, and I knew that if I got too close, the ralts would sense me, and probably figure out that I'm from the opposite guild. I didn't want to scare anyone, so I tried my best to stay away from that group... it didn't go very well, as the nidoran almost instantly greeted me with "Oh, hello there, are you an explorer too? Funny thing, I just saw a buneary... maybe she was your little sister, or something,"

[Nina]

Dexter seemed insistent on my fear being a simple rattata, but Rebecca corrected him pretty quickly, stating that what we saw was basically the opposite of that. "Here's the best way I can describe what I just saw... imagine that someone was really mad at nature, itself... now imagine that they made this mess of an abomination as some sort of mockery and destroyer of everything nature made thus far... okay, maybe I'm exaggerating just a little bit, but the important thing is that it's probably not around, anymore... right?" I then continued onward, certain in the fact that the... thing will never show up again. How is that thing even alive? IS it alive? Maybe I should just stop thinking about it... I think as I look all around the place. Thankfully, I don't find any pokemon that were out of place, save for one lopunny who seemed to be avoiding our group for some reason. At first, I thought she might be an agent of whatever that was until I noticed her badge. She must have been from another guild, or something, so I ended up greeting her with "Oh, hello there, are you an explorer too? Funny thing, I just saw a buneary... maybe she was your little sister, or something," though, she simply ran off instead of providing an answer to my question. "Well, she's weird," I then commented to the rest of the group as I noticed the wild pokemon seemed to be keeping their distance from me. It was probably for the best, as I didn't want to risk... no, I shouldn't even think about it. I didn't want to have waste my time fighting them when my mission wasn't even in this area, there, that's it.
