Name: Adam Crenshaw
Codename: Blackout
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Source: Blackout, Flashpoint. Heroes/villains in big powered suits
Birthplace: Metropolis
Affiliation: Lexcorp, The club of villains, Assorted gangs, Independent criminal
Occupation: Thief, criminal enforcr, hired muscle, mercenary, murderer
race: Human
Appearance:About 6'9, and extremely muscular outside of armor (yes I know its from one punch man, but it was closet I could find, especially with the armor)
Powers: Metahuman, control over electricity. Unlike similar heroes or villains, Lectro cannot create lightning, shock others or otherwise cause direct harm to others with his powers. Instead, he is able to stimulate his own muscles with electricity, increasing his strength drastically, or control electronic devices(at most he can cut poer to an entire city block). He uses his power to power up the suit he has named himself after as well.
Skills: A career criminal even before he got his powers, Lectro is an experienced brawler and street fighter, skilled at breaking and entering, intimidation, as well as general violence and causing mayhem
Equipment: Blackout really only has one piece of equipment, he armor. A suit provided to him whilst in the employ of Lexcorp, this large powered armor gives the already physically powerful man the ability to lift a car with one arm. Similarly, it allows him to "pump up" by syphoning electricity from nearby sources into his muscles as well as the armor, and he can grow to be up to eight or nine feet tall, increasing his strength enough to rival many more powerful heros. However, he can only push the armor so far before he overloads its circuitry, basically destroying it and turning into a heavy, cumbersome weight that he simpply can't move in. It also can be broken, though it is made out of steel with a titanium alloy top layer, making this somewhat difficult. It also in no way protects his head... he was always to vain to wear a helmet. It helps him in no other way than protecting him and increasing his strength.
Weaknesses: His armor also makess him cumbersome even when powered, forcing him to rely on his endurance to win fights. It also makes him a very large target, bulking him out and increasing his height even when not being "pumped up". His age is also starting to catch up with him, hindering his speed further.
Psychological profile: Blackout is a cruel, vindictive, greedy, vain and self centered individual who cares for only a few things, money, power and his own comfort. Being a lifetime criminal, Lectro has no sympathy for anyone who isn't him, enjoys violence on a casual scale and is generally an unpleasant individual. Largely professional when on the job, Blackout however does have his limit, and often runs when a situation turns to bad, making him somewhat of a coward. To him, no money in the world is worth his life, he's just too god damn pretty and strong to deprive the world of his presence.
Though not particularly smart, Blackout is not a dumb brute, and he is possesed of an amount of low cunning, often setting crude traps and making underhanded schemes, though these are rarely more than short term ways to deal with problems. He has very little ability to plan ahead, letting others do that for him and preferring to think on his feet. He knows his weaaknesses and strives to minimize them in any fight through any means necassary, though he can sometimes become overconfident and ignore impportant details. In the end, if he comes out on top in the short term, Blackout is happy.
Biography: Born in the lower income projects of Metropolis, Adam Crenshaw was always a big kid, and he knew it. From the time he was old enough to walk he was making sure people knew he was in charge. His father was a factory worker with a severe drinking problem, putting his mother in charge of keeping food on the table. From age 10 Adam was already almost five feet taall and over a hundred pounds, becoming a bully and controlling his own little gang throughout his school days. When he was about 16 Adam got into real crime, drug deals, armed robbery, mugging you name it and he would do it if it meant he got payed. He used alot of this money to help out his mom at home, as by now his father was an unemployed alcoholic, and he made sure his wife knew it. Even though many of his friends had dropped out of school by now, Adam refused to, he wanted the knowlegde he thought he would need to run a gang properly. On his gradution, Adam cam home beaming, to find his mother dead and his drunk father bleeding from a wound on his arm. Adam, who now at 18 was 6'5 and over 200 lb. flew into a rage and killed his father... after that he caught the place on fire and struck off on his own. For w good few years he was muscle for hire, working for any gang that could buy him, and any boss who needed something done that required his particular skills. He wwas in jail a couple of times, but for the most part these were DUI charges and other petty crime, meaning his record was relatively clean since he was good at what he did.
When Adam was around 25, after almost a decade of crime, he was approached by a man who said he was from Lexcorp, and that they needed muscle. At first Adam was just another thug for the corporation, doing whatever they needed him to. When he was about 29, the Black Zero Event hit metropolis, and Adam discovered a nifty new little trick he could pull off. After learning he could control electricity, Adam became more important as a sort of D - class metahuman in employ of Lexcorp. He got the attention of a few higher ups, and they provided him with a new toy, the Lexcorp XZC - model 12.3 powered armor, specifically designed to make Adam into a power house. Taking the name Blackout he was now a villain with power. Coming into contact with superheroes now, Blackout showed time and time again how he could trounce the minor heroes troubling Lexcorp with varying degrees of ease, he thought he was incincible... till he drew a foul card and faced off with the big S. Now in his late twenties, Blackout was supervising the movement of a large amount of dangerous material from Lexcorp assets in Metropolis to Gotham, when Superman made a surprise appearance. Blackout, fully convinced of his own invincibilty, challenged supermn to a one on one... and lost terribly. Superman reduced the big headed enforcer to a pile of broken armor in seconds, moving on to stop the rest of the operation after defeating the minor villain. Blackout was lucky enough to escape this encounter, though now more sobered than before.
After that Blackout drifted, eventually getting his armor repaired and working as a freelance operator for a myriad of criminal organizations, even joining up with the Club of Villains at one point and helping to try and put Batman down for good, but again failed along with the rest of the group. Now? He drew another foul card, and is now in a no choice situation in the suicide squd... what a load of shit.
