So I would ask that Mr Swordsman NOT post in response to Mr Monster's attack until Miss Shadow-wielder responds to mine, because Cruallassar was waiting for the vamp to do just that.

Oh, and for ranked battles, there needs to be some kind of mediator or overseer of some kind for conflict resolution, right? (I'm setting up a ranked battle, that is why I ask.)

You would, because you are being attacked, however my next post has direct effect on the attack you are being attacked with, and therefore you can either post beforehand and thus maintain being attacked as is now, or you can wait for my post and have that attack changed slightly, possibly in your favor.

[Edit] For example, explosive arrow in the face might throw off the monstrosity's attack just a bit.

Yeah, I'm still not particularly used to having to mention people to make sure they see the message, I prefer where people get notifications every time someone posts in a thread they posted in.

Umm doctor, you can't use heat seeking vision (or whatever it's called) in a forest fire -_- There is heat everywhere.
Sure you can fiddle around with echolocation, but that's the only way to get around in it for you.

Well it wouldn't be if you guys were actually LOW powered for god's sake. (EDIT: Not including Yami, he had to buff up Jasmine to be on equal playing field)

Hey, I reduced my power level to Tier 1...but really, I suspect it is simply a matter of some characters are better vs others. Yours...well, I can't really say much for a teenager with a cheap runeblade, however that Primal Vampire would probably go down pretty easily vs a good mage, (as would I, depending on the mage and the abilities), and little miss shadow-wielder...well, I'm not sure what to think about her, I didn't see anything about becoming a little pool of shadows in her character sheet, and I thought she had to activate insanity mode to use them at all, but she could also probably handle Shashous pretty easily. I mean...I seem to be the only one of us who can attack her at all.

Which brings up the question...what the heck just happened with those shadows there?

And I didnt see anything about being able to teleport in your character sheet. But the Insanity thing is a fair point, I meant to take that out as i wrote the character sheet for another RP and just tweaked it for this one, but shes basically just stuck in Insanity mode atm

That's cause I thought, hmm what sounds low powered? Yeah that looks good.
Not shoot railgun arrows nor even whoopity whoop between being physical/being ethereal. Yami is hiding from your attacks because they'll oneshot her -_-
In fact James CAN hit her in fact. Fireball magic from his sword, freeze her shadows or just wait for her to come out -_-
Nor do I use heat vision to go, hey look a heat source amongst a huge heat source! Of course it's easy to find!

A fair point. Though I am wondering why you ignored my post about showering all your little shadows with arrows...I'm kinda wondering what effect that had.

And I'm also wondering what the heck just happened with that being dragged down into a shadowy pool bit...

Not sure how I missed that actually

But yeah, those pools were scattered quite far apart and I'm chilling literally inside the shadow, unable to attack without exposing myself but unable to be hurt by physical attacks, I basically just pulled James into my little shadow hideyhole where he won't be able to see because it's pitch black and will be completely disoriented however he can climb out
