Welcome to Happiness, an RP inspired by a bunch of different things, such as Battle Royale, Doubt!, Youkai Ningen, Corpse Party, SAW, a bunch more different series which I forget about, and even a bunch of weird Japanese songs I found on the tube of you.
Happiness is a survival mystery where every choice you make could affect the characters of everyone else. Characters will die, unless they're smart. If they last long enough, perhaps they could see the light of day again.
The beginning would start in all of the characters waking up in a small room with a bed and a small cardboard box. Within each box would be a random weapon and a cellphone.
Each character would be working towards the same goal (more or less). They all want (or maybe not) to escape from the ghostly asylum that they are stuck in. However, that is difficult, seeing how many doors are locked and how many traps are laid out.
To make things worse, food and water are scarce. The only way to get new supplies is to complete a daily mission, given to you on the phone you get from the start. Daily missions come in on texts. They range from inane actions to targeted murders. Completing these missions are optional, -but- something bad may happen if you skip too many of them.
Of course, you could also take supplies from other people without their permission. But doing this makes you unhappier and unhappier. At some point, you would be declared as not happy at all, and that would be a problem, wouldn't it?
The more judicious people may even want to find out things about the person who has done this to them.
Still, there's a lot of stuff that I don't want to reveal at all, as to make it much more like a mystery. Everything would have to be figured out by the characters. Some hypothesis that they make could be correct, but some may also be false. Of course, some could even lead to a dead end.
Characters won't die instantly from making a mistake, however. They'll get two or three "Get out of jail free cards" before a mistake would result in a dirt map. But, the more characters there are, the less lucky they are. Teamwork would be necessary to get people out of sticky situations.
Any question asked will be placed in the FAQ so people can find the answers easier.
