Lord Stark, I am as I write this preparing to split my forces. I will take many with me to Lannisport, and amass my fleet there, and hire as many ships from the free cities and further as possible. Upon a letter from you, I shall sail to the Iron Islands and do there what the Iron-men have done to the Fair Isle.

As for my daughter, Leona Crakehall, I consent to her wardenship. I will prepare her myself, and she will be at Moat Cailin in two months time. However, though it may infuriate you, I insist that a retinue of my men, no more than 15 and no less than 5, who accompany you be allowed to participate in your 'one-hearth' policy and be able to defend my daughter as well as assist in the defense of your own House. I allow you to decide on the number between 5 and 15, but like you I consider myself a cautious man, and will not let my daughter be surrounded only by men she has never known and who have never known her.

As for my own blade, Widow's Wail, I ask that I be allowed to retain the blade at least until the last Greyjoy is dead, after which time I will wither personally hand the blade to you, or place an equivalent amount of Valyrian steel in your hand. The Lannisters took Ice, not I, and though I will help you to re-forge it I would prefer to keep my ancestral blade.

As for your own contribution, after the Greyjoys are all dead and we have the Iron Islands, you and I shall select it's new lords together, so that we both agree on the new Lords. I also expect more than words upon the death of the Iron Islands. I expect a number of Northmen to march with me, if needs be, to take my throne if the Tyrells continue to oppose me. I do not ask you to provide me with all the Norths strength, but if I am to sit atop the thousand blades at least a portion of the North must claim it with me, your strength is in blades along with words.

Today marks the day the North and West become one, the day the boar and wolf shall swallow the Kraken, the day the Iron throne passes from its oldest dynasty to its next. We will conquer the throne Lord Stark, and your grandchildren shall be princes and Kings.
