Adult x Imaginary Friend
(Not ashamed to admit it is partially blamed on the film Drop Dead Fred)

Life never did go the way it was planned. Childhood dreams of fame, riches and fortune never did come true. In fact, with the late-twenties rapidly approaching, things probably couldn't get much worse. Even love has gone awry. Now, with the risk of losing all that you've worked for -your partner, your poorly paid job, the apartment (you co-owned with your now-ex?)-, you're at an all-time low.

So is it all that strange that in your time of need, an old childhood friend returns to help you through it? That is what friends are for, right? But what if they were imaginary?

More than fifteen years have passed since you last saw that "figment of your imagination", yet here they are again, plain to see. For you, that is. No-one else seems to see them. Are you going mad, or is there a benefit to this situation? Perhaps, a perfect opportunity has presented itself to get back at all those who have wronged you...

For this plot, I am open to either role, though I do have a preference for the imaginary friend.
