I just want to point out that druids magic has never been about controlling the elements and their magic has always been about earth and rituals and harmony with the animals. Historically (as this is set in our world), Druidism was very reliant on spirits and the like. I am not AH or Igraine, but if you are going Druid I would suggest doing some research about it.

thank you for the quick reply. I do realize that Druidism has nothing to do with summoning storms etc, however I thought that seeing as this world is full of fantastical creatures a little creativity would be allowed.

If my concept of a druid in this (veiled world) is not appropriate then I can always come up with another character.

Great, grand and beautiful good morning to you LT, and to everyone! 'Tis a bit overcast here (which explains the sinus headache that hit somewhere around 2 am last night) but otherwise nothing a little coffee can't make positively, perfectly right!

And I am Igraine of course! But I'm not the co-GM so I've nothing really to say FF about your character, other than simply write what strikes you as fun. This story has accommodated many different types of characters from all over the world from the imaginations of numerous players. Other than co-opting one of the GM's characters as your own, or adding in secondary characters as Heroes has already outlined, I personally (with all my just-another-player-non-authority) can't foresee any problems to be honest. So please, just relax and have fun with your writing!

Good morning all,
My weekend has been going well so far. It's a bit embarrassing, but I just now took my Christmas lights down...don't judge. How are the rest of you doing? Not to steal LT's usual culinary morning ritual, but there's waffles with sausage and Maple syrup, along with Hawaiian blend coffee if anyone's hungry for imaginary food .

As for your question fantasyfan, I don't mind at all if you make a druid that can control the elements. You're exactly right: this world is all about imagination and coming up with a character that you want to enjoy, so in my mind if you want to make a "druid" that's a healer and controller of the elements, I say go for it!

Yum! I'll take some of that and start taking orders for imaginary espresso-based drinks. I have my machine all fired up. Who wants a Latte?

Also, I will have you know that I still have my Halloween decorations up. From 2011 and I am not in the least apologetic. Because honestly, it's always Halloween here (or so I like to pretend).
