Long story short, her mum wanted a divorce, he took it badly, started acting really "nice". One night he got annoyed and really violent (this was only like a year ago) and started pushing her mum and stuff. My friend started shouting at him and trying to defend her mum, he stormed out into the garden, Her mum took her and her brother (who was about 9, 10 at this time?)into a room, phoned the police and he was taken into custody for the night, but they had no room so he was released. Now he refuses to leave. I've been to her house a couple of times (me and 2 other people tend to go over and have anime marathons) and just the pure hatred in her eyes whenever he starts talking to us or anything. I feel really bad for her, because there is literally nothing they can do, and he acts like he didn't do anything wrong and he has no idea why she hates him.
