Update time, once more: Swear I'm still working on this! At the point now we're done to just two more people I need to collab with, so hopefully... Within a week! This will hopefully be worth the weeks of downtime....

While we wait on those who actually have their priorities in order, what'd everyone get for Christmas? I got some fantastic vinyl records (Grimes, Titus Andronicus), two kinds of whiskey(one Kentucky bourbon, one local whiskey), a bunch of bar stuff so I can pretend to be a fancy lad when I drink, an absolute shitload of classic horror movies (Jaws, Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Shining, Evil Dead 2, and the less "classic" but still fantastic Shaun of the Dead), some possibly depressing books (that's a positive. Ishmael and Norwegian Wood), and some art to make my apartment look more mature and fancy.

Got almost $300 worth of statues/figures, a copy of the Count of Monte Cristo, a copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron on Bluray, and money for everything from Gamestop to Chipotle to Barnes and Noble. Not quite done though, still got one small get together to have on Sunday, but overall I am very happy and thankful.

@The Darklight ProjectThe Count of Monte Cristo is probably my all time favorite old classic novel, and next to baguettes it might be the best thing to ever come out of France. Enjoy those thousand pages.

I got a new iPad, so now I can enjoy you guys on a bigger screen when I'm away from my computer, and then I got a bunch of socks and scarves and chocolate and Christmas pajamas, a visa gift card so I can buy my own presents, another sketchbook and some pencils, some calendars, and a really really nice jacket for me to work in!

Went in to Gamestop today, traded in some stuff, got $118 for it. Here I was expecting to get only $20 at most, but apparently in my shock I lost my debit card or let it get stolen. Been one hell of a day.

Holy crap that is enormous. Have fun swimming through that, but I'll go ahead and say that Calypso and Etsuko are going off on their own back home, and everyone else is headed North. Just feel that it's important to reiterate that in case someone drowns.

Anyway, hope that was worth the three week wait! I'm gonna figure out some way to keep that from happening if/when we have to do a massive collab post like that, maybe impose some soft deadlines. Momentum is important in a roleplay, and now I have to kick us back into gear again.

Anywhore, the next person to post will be Adriane. Time for her to join up and shed a little light on what happen. A little bit of "slang" information, when she refers to those who did the saving as "angels" (if you kept that in there Adriane), "angels" are those sent with Divine purpose in mind. It's a term that can apply to Divineborn who are doing what their parents want, for example, or even someone from the City of the Divines come to the mortal realm, or just anyone who a Divine has picked.

After Adriane posts, have at it. We're gonna be in this surviving village for a little because more than just Adriane's character will be joining the group, so yeah.

Also, just to be perfectly crystal clear, she summarizes the whole flashback to Cyril & co., I just felt it would be redundant to actually write it out afterward. All important details I mentioned in the flashback were relayed, though I'm sure she made her explanation a little shorter so as not to waste the prince's time.
