Mentioning it a bit late, but I second Wade's suggestion of a setting up a Chatzy or something. If everyone has a Skype, we could set up a group chat there, because notifications.
Any thoughts?

P.S. I'm like, 1/3 of the way done through the first IC post. I'm not sure it'll be up Monday, but it will be up by Tuesday. To take a leak out of Jbcool's book; Even if I die trying!

P.S.S. And even after that date, I'll still be taking people. :D I see you lurking. You know you want to join.

Also, a question before I start writing. I take it Catherine will have a position on the bridge next to the Captain's chair since she needs to be readily available to give legal advice (and act as a witness on the bridge for potentially illegal actions)?

As a JAG officer, you can reasonably assume she can be anywhere you'd want. She doesn't have an official position on the ship technically.

There's no seat for her to take. Not even an XO seat; just the Command chair in the middle. The Miranda is kinda small and kinda old, so I'm not shocked to see that kind of bridge on her. I suppose we COULD say there was a retrofit that did some cosmetics; like change the layout of the bridge. But up to Blue.

On all the ships I served on...well, they were all really big ships, BUT, they always had a JAG office. Even on "small boys" (smaller ships), you'd have a JAG office: even if it was small and out of the way. ^_^

So she'd probably have an office somewhere, too. But, yeah, Vash would have no problem with having JAG on the bridge.

I've actually been referring to this image for the bridge. Which is a little more roomy than the one you referred to. But yeah, she'd have to stand.

From glancing at the bridge diagram, I figured there'd be no place for her to sit, hence why I asked about her standing next to Vash. I also figured there would be an office for her (in some dark corner :P) where she would spend most of her time unless she was needed. She can just grip onto something for dear life during evasive maneuvers.
