@ZacksQuest Awesome! I was wondering: did you have a preference or suggestion for where in the city our characters should start out, for the sake of advancing character interactions?

Still here, but the place I'm staying at doesn't have wifi, and I'm not too keen on copying everything through my phone. I'll be heading out in another ~12 hours, and will get my char up as soon as possible.

You can start out in the active City, or if your character is travelling to or a member of any Sector- well, between the two- then you can start out wherever at the start. The only way I'll have any say or input is when creatures start to come out or the City begins to twist and change, but I'd always suggest either the path between the Sectors or the City itself, since two of the currently four characters are wanderers.

Alright! It looks beyond fantastic!

Also, since a lot of people are sticking to just one character and I'm not sure if that's because it's currently unprecedented or simply because managing more than one character seems difficult, but in any case I'm going to make a secondary character for this, if only because that means there's precedent and just to make The City currently feel more populous at the very least. This is going really quite well everyone!

Man, so sorry about not posting in this earlier. I just got back from break, and so I've been settling in and preparing myself to go back to the grind. :/

I'll be sure to try and get a post up tonight.

And I'm not sure if I want to make another character, seeing as how it took me so long just to make one. Character Sheets take a lot out of me.

Well, so far, we have a sad middle aged dude, an attractive homeless guy, some punk who stole my name, an Amazonian backpacker (thats me!), the one chick who would either end up being the star of a teenage RomCom or the survivor of a slasher flick, and Casey Jones from TMNT.

Oh, and a psychopathic, emotionally distant yet-somehow-still-clingy mother. (The City)

All in all, I'd say we have a pretty good group set up for us.

Looks like I just got REKT! I don't think I've ever used a single character for more than one roleplay. That's some pretty impressive dedication!

That's impressive. Also, never knew that kongregate had any sort of RP community. It always amazes me how many different places have some sort of play by post section.

I don't know if a GM is allowed to officiate this outside of the IC, but I decree that Sypher's game is mad and all who stood before him have become scrubs in this post's wake.

I find it funny that she considers him a lot older than he really is. He's actually a couple years younger than her, though, he's just had a rough time at an early age and so he's probably got some early aging stuff going on with him.

In any case though, don't worry about it! The only thing at this point that will set him off as far as Cat's concerned is if she does, in fact, call him Meesh. Bad things happen when you call him Meesh.

EDIT: ...I said he looked a lot older than twenty in his description. I'll chalk it up to lack of sleep and pretend that never happened.
