My idea is basically a reboot of an old RP, who's owner allowed me to take and redo. Here it is. Everything written in their words. Anything I write will be in pink.

So...What's the basic plot of this RP?

Many years have passed since the events of Gale of Darkness. Wild Pokémon have become more numerous, no signs of Snagem or Cipher have been seen, and things seem more or less at peace.

Or so it seems.

Unable to let go of his thirst for revenge and his loyalty to Cipher, Ardos, Greevil's son, swore to revive Cipher. Slowly but surely, he began to do just that. Though still small in numbers, the group continued to work on their plans under the radar, with each passing day growing larger in numbers. After successfully stealing the Snag machine-their first big impact in Orre during the past 5 years-they began to make to copies of it; every now and then, reports of stolen Pokémon are made. Despite this, no signs of Shadow Pokémon have yet been confirmed...but with Ardos working away at deciphering the Ein files, that may very well change soon.

In other words, Cipher's making a comeback, and that's going to spell out trouble for the rest of us.

In this roleplay, you can choose to either roleplay as a normal trainer, breeder, etc., a member of Cipher, and later on in the rp, a member of Snagem, or even a follower of Miror B.

Some key differences:

-Many more wild Pokémon

-The Pre Gym is now part of a Colosseum.

- The trainer's school has been rebuilt in Gateon port.

-Michael has taken place as head of the HQ lab.

-And more minor changes, which will be added/revealed through-out the roleplay.

Cool, so how do I join?

All you have to do is create an OC and wait for approval. Then you can go on right ahead!

What's the format you roleplay in?

We use proper sentences rather than roleplaying in script format. Posts are expected to be at least three sentences long, and are ideally a paragraph; however, more is fine. If this is moved to casual it will obviously be a paragraph or two at least.

Can we have legendaries? How about shinies?

Depends on the scenario. You'll have to ask me before hand, as the answer to that can vary. As a general rule, I'm more willing to give legendaries to 'villains', as it makes it more challenging for the 'heroes'. However, a simply peon probably isn't going to be walking around with Arceus trotting behind him, if you know what I mean. Shinies are allowed. BUT only one per all of your characters MAX. Meaning only one of your three can have a shiny and that one character can only have one. Shinies are VERY rare in Orre.

Do you have a leveling system?

No; though we do mention levels in the character sheets, we don't mention them in roleplay. We go by this basic logic; Pokémon with more experience battling in roleplay will get stronger. Also, like the concept used in Pokémon amie; the better you treat your Pokémon, the more they'll go that extra mile for their trainer. Just be reasonable and it'll be okay.

And movesets?

As long as it's something your Pokemon could learn, I don't care. Just try to limit it to about 6 or 7 different moves per battle.

What's the highest level I can make my Pokémon at the beginning?

If your trainer is a rookie they shouldn't have anything over level 5, 10 tops. Anything over should be disobedient. But if they're experienced the maximum is 45, 50 if we're really pushing it. It can increase during roleplay but it won't be mentioned.

How many character can I have?

Three maximum unless I make an exception. This can be 3 canons, 3 OCs, 2 canons and 1 OC, or 1 canons and 2 OCs.

Any age restrictions to the characters?

No age limit! All registered trainers have to be 10 or older. But that's it.

How about to the Pokémon?

No restrictions to Pokémon! Except for the ones you can catch in the wild. There'll be a list of locations of where they can be found in wild and which pokemon in there. But any you have before the RP or any Shadow Pokemon you snag from Cipher (or non-shadow if you wanna roll that way) doesn't matter. Any region.

Oh wow, I had no idea that was you. Um, have fun with this old mess I guess. I kinda want to revamp Narek now, and I bet Rose and Proto would've loved to seen this back in action. I'd offer to be GM, but I think I'm a pretty bad GM, so just have fun with this I guess. Hopefully you'll be able to find someone better than me to do it. If you don't mind waiting until around the 26th, I'd love to rejoin this. Requesting Lovrina if possible.

And of course, I'd like casual.

I thought you were a good enough GM but if you don't want to that's okay. And sure! I'll mark off Lovrina but you can't have her until you're done the written portion.

@Shiny Furret Eh, I was a pretty awful GM, honestly. I'm unmotivated enough as is, nevermind now on depression and three different pills. You really don't want me for GM, but I can add input to stuff if you'd like. And wow, I've been reading through the original roleplay and cringing a lot on the inside. I like to think my writing's improved quite a bit since then. @_____________@

Team Miror B doesn't have a page since they were a bit of a joke but he's an ex-member of Cipher and he wants to own all the Pokémon in the world. He seems to also be a traveling performer. All his Pokemon come from unknown places and he seems to have a knack for finding lost Shadow Pokémon. His only followers are Trudly and Folly but by now he's probably gained some more. I'm going to probably be Miror B but I don't know yet.

Ah, I never played the gamecube games. After reading over the information, I will probably be neutral.

I'm good with either. I mostly do casual, but I'm okay with free as long as one liners don't become a problem.

I don't watch playthroughs. I will read up when I need to. Can't be much different than all the other games. Though I suppose an idea of the game map would be helpful.

I'll also have brief descriptions of all the locations as well.

The games are pretty different from your usual ones. Wild Pokemon are scarce in the second and only in three locations and in the first there's none at all. No traditional gyms or routes, but I might add gyms if they're requested enough. The evil guys are a lot more brutal. And the atmosphere is pretty different. And a few other things. But yeah.

Man, Pyrite Town...Gotta love that place.

The map is missing The Under though, my close second favourite. I know that place isn't around after the second game but in the original RP for this, it was there. So just for you to know: There's this very run-down city built just under Pyrite Town.

Yeah, I got to reading. Looks like everything in this region is dangerous. Will be interesting.

@Shurikai This region is DEFINITELY different and dangerous. And Pyrite Town and The Under is just about the most dangerous towns in Pokemon ever. And Phenac during the time Cipher took over. Agate Town is the safest place.

But yeah.

I'm definitely interested! I freaking love the Gamecube Pokémon games, so dark compared to the mainstream ones. But, I have a thing against free, so I'll only join if it makes casual. No offense to those who write free, but one little paragraph just isn't enough for me considering I write a minimum of three and usually a lot more than that.

@AirBender Oh wow sorry I missed you! Good to have you. And I love the gamecube games too! They're not my favourite (that's Platinum) but they are my sibling's! And don't worry it looks like the votes for casual outnumber free. Three to one. So it'll probably be casual.
