"Valerie P. Matron. Not a lot of people call me Val. Only my dad, really. He annoys me sometimes.."


"I'm 21. Birthday is June 25."


Valerie has long auburn hair that hangs down about to her mid-back. It has some slight waves and curls slightly at the ends but is otherwise straight. She doesn't have any bangs, leaving her forehead exposed. As far as her face goes, she has relatively round features. Her nose is small and round, rather than a more pointed shape. Same can be said for her over all facial structure which lacks much definition along her jawline. Her eyes are round and a very pale green. Moving on from her face and to her body, Val is around 5'4" height wise and is relatively thin. Her skin is slightly tan due to the fact she is half hispanic on her mother's side. She has a bit of chest and hip to her but not enough to deem her with that 'hour-glass figure' many talk about.

"Ehh.... Can we just move on already?"


"Is good an answer? Or maybe radical?"
She's a tad sarcastic and a little hot-headed. Valerie is friendly to most and acts fairly mature until someone pushes her too far. Careful, she can throw a good punch. While she is friendly, she isn't overly trusting and can be a bit reclusive when people try to gain her trust or force theirs on her. She also doesn't like to bother people. She often puts up a tough and friendly front to hide any issues she may be going through. She's willing to help others but refuses to allow them help her. For those close to Valerie, she is often very protective of them and is a caring person, even though it might not always seem that way. Side-note : She's also a bit of a dork.


"I don't like talking about it but I suppose I don't have a say on the manner."
Valerie grew up as the daughter of a leader and a fighter. Her father has been stationed as a leader for ___(something that relates to our plot) and watches over a small sector. Her mother was a fighter but slowly rose to a more second in command position with her relationship. The two never married but claimed it wasn't necessary and that they were both simply too busy. Valerie was around six years old when her mother was killed. It hit the family hard and her father obsessed with finding the killer until he apparently discovered that it was someone he claimed as 'untouchable'. Valerie was about 13 when he finally gave up on his plan for revenge. Their relationship hasn't quite been a perfect father-daughter one. Valerie accepts him but doesn't trust him fully anymore. Meanwhile her father is hell bent on repairing the damage done.

Axel Cedano is Val's cousin despite being on the opposing side. (Which I will fit into our roleplay)
Daniel Cohen is her somewhat-unofficial-adopted brother.

Daniel is a tall and lanky man. He stands around 6'3" and is more thin than muscular. He also has a fair amount of scars. Though most are small, there are two significant ones. One travels from just below his right ear all the way to his chin. The second worst one is unknown to most people. It's on his right side and marks where a large gash had once been. His hair is pitch black with the style of it that makes him appear like a business man. It's well kept, thick and usually slicked upward. His face is rather square shaped and often having stubble of a beard. He shaves, just not every day. His eyes seem a bit narrow and often seem to look like they are glaring at someone or something. They are a gray-ish hazel color that can be hard to detect at times.


"Ok."
Daniel comes off as the mysterious and brooding type which is actually far from the truth. He is quiet half of the time but has a temper far worse than even Valerie, you just have to get under his skin first other wise he is laid back and tends to go with the flow of things. He's got a bit of leadership skills to him as well but usually doesn't have many opportunities to show them off. Daniel is a good listener, quick on his feet, and open-minded. He does retain a bit of mystery to him as he does avoid talking about his past much more than others.


"Can you not?" *Heavy sigh*
Daniel has a bit of a bad past. His parents were black sheep of their respective families and were outcasted because of their decisions. They did, however, do their best in raising him until he was around 10 years old. At the age of ten, his parents and him got in a car crash. They ended up passing away in the hospital but he managed to survive despite the injuries he received. Once he was better, he found that he still had plenty of problems. His family still outcasted his parents and hence refused to take in their only child. He was eventually put into an orphanage.
At the age of 16, he started to become more rebellious and was still in the foster care system. He bounced from home to home and often snuck away. One day he ended up getting into a fight which lead to him meeting Valerie and her father. They took care of his wounds and offered him a place to stay and a job if he'd take it. He did but didn't plan on staying very long. But plans change. He found that he actually enjoyed their company and stayed much longer than intended. They eventually felt like family to him and he has stuck with them ever since.

"20. April 10th is my birthday. Just in case you wanted to know."


"Oh boy."
He's fairly tall with a bit a muscle to him. He stands around 6'0" and is half Hispanic and half Japanese with light brown skin. He has shaggy, dark brown hair that hangs down into his eyes half of the time. It's a tad wavy and doesn't seem very straight. His eyes are a lighter shade of brown as well, almost seeming like a warm-honey color.


"Perfect in every way?"
Axel is arrogant, snobby and a bit of a show off. He's a difficult person to get a long with, especially since he has a knack for toying with people and causing fights. He's keen for sarcasm and playing tricks. Despite all this, he's not completely bad. He is a loyal person but only to those he deems worthy. He tends to keep to himself if he's not messing with someone (enemy or ally) and for that reason he is a bit of a loner. Axel can be serious and intimidating when a situation requires it.

"It's Kage Jonathan Matron. Thank you for asking."


"Does old count? Hehe. I'm about 48."


"Again, does old count?"
Kage is an older man with thick black hair that is beginning to turn gray at it's roots. He's got a bit of a goatee, though it's very small and also graying. He's got pale skin and dark green eyes that often seem rather prominent against his features.


"It's pretty hard to describe yourself, ya know?"
Kage is a powerful man. He's strong and wise with good instincts. He relies on his ability to strategize and organize before jumping head first into a problem. Many might actually fear him if they are not friends or allies. To his family, friends, and workers he is a kind and gentle man who loves to joke around. He cares deeply for each and every person he commands, often trying to get to know everyone on a more personal level. However, he is completely different towards enemies and people who double cross him. Kage is able to lack compassion and can be a tad cruel if he feels the situation calls for it. Most people don't see this side of him though because it's so rare.
