Well I am brand new to this site but I have been roleplaying for 6 years so far from various places but I started out on myspace with the same original character Rosefire Ikaru. I have been roleplaying this oc since then and I have had many memorable roleplays throughout my roleplaying years. Most have been with friends I have met on a whim and I received a wonderful and thrilling roleplay from them. others I am still friends with to this day and we continue to have memorable roleplays to this day. I joined this site in the hopes my oc will be more accepted because on the current site I am on shes for the most part ignored by everyone unless they have known me since myspace or who accepted original characters and is currently roleplaying with me via that site or somewhere else.

MY hopes is that this site will be a lot more welcoming and accepting of my original character than the current site I am on. My grammer isn't the best as most can already tell from this greeting but I am very flexible when it comes to roleplays. as long as I know the verse and or series then I can mold my oc to fit into the verse. so for the most part I am welcoming any verse that I know about. So I do hope I can make new friends and have more memorable roleplays here. Thank you for your time in reading this.

thank you both of you. I am just having so much difficulty trying to find a good roleplay to join that doesn't have 1,000+ comments on it that fits my character to a point. and I have no clue how to even start looking for a roleplay on this site to begin with. and so far people have been telling me to either change my character completely to fit into their roleplay they have going or that my character doesn't fit into any of the roleplays they currently have going. I am so lost and confused and frustrated right now because no one will honestly help me out

I have different characters for different rp's but they are mostly the same overall design. Find what you like in the character and reuse it with another one.

One thing I almost always reuse in a character is a bigger guy that is friendly, build around that base.

@Tyler Night but I don't want to have to change my character so much just to roleplay on here. I came here to see if my character will be accepted for who she is not by altering her for every roleplay I do or try to join

you don't have to change who the character is, just tweak it to fit the timeline. All my characters are legitimately me just turned up in some areas with less of myself in other places.

character sheets are what you fill out to apply for an rp. Some rp's have character sheets so you get to know the character some before the rp starts.

see I have no clue about this site. the only reason I joined is because a good friend of mine told me this site accepts ocs and so far only one person has accepted my oc into their roleplay. I feel like I am just going to be ignored again like I am on another site and barely be involved with any roleplays. I need someone to help me find roleplays and things but so far no one will help me

you can always create your own rp's.

Do you prefer 1 on 1 or group rp's?

depends on how big the group rp is. from what I saw it can get pretty big in group rps

then you should post in the interest check board and let people know what you are looking for. The more complete the topic the more likely you are to get some interest.
