The legend of the creation of the continent Gun'Varr is deeply intertwined with two swords, Gram and Lævateinn, and the bloodlines of two brothers, Gunhild and Brynhild.
Even after 5,000 years, their descendants still have a great impact in the continent as a whole. Alexandro and Straizo, cousins and best friends are now at the head of the continent's largest kingdom, Jotenvarr, as king and its advisor, respectively.
After a great war with Jotenvarr's neighbor, Alistaf, Alexandro's father, and the king, was murdered, as well as both of Straizo's parents. Unlike what some would think, that this would demoralize troops, Straizo's tactical mind and Alexandro's strength as a king drove Jotenvarr to victory.
Since then, Jotenvarr absorbed Alistaf and gave them full rights, instead of slaving them or similars as most would do, under the decision of their new King Alexandro.
With the heavy losses and a new king regnant, the army is in dire need of new recruits, and a new royal guard.
