This was originally my brother's idea, we will be running this together.

The military: an institution of justice, known for protecting justice in our country. It keeps us safe from the heretics and the blasphemers, but what does it do behind closed doors? The military is well-known for various scandals through the years, such as the biological warfare experiments tried on POWs, but nothing they have ever done could compare to their most recent endeavor. Kidnapping children to use as lab-rats.

It's been 16 years since the first newborns were stolen from the hospitals. They didn't stop there, though. With these children, they began testing on them, turning them into living weapons. However, they didn't stop there. More and more children were taken every year.

When the children became old enough, and their testing was completed, the lab's head, Dr. Irvine Schroder, would offer them a job, first as one of the guards, what the patients called the "corrupted", then, once their research was complete, as a soldier for any country willing to buy them.

However, there's a group of children working towards escaping the lab. These kids are slowly doing what they can, gaining information, getting a plan together. A plan that requires doctors.

Now, who are you?

There are 6 possible classes for chars-

-Adults- (25+)

Doctor - They run the tests on the patients.
Nurse - They assist the doctors or sometimes run tests themselves.
Guard - They lead the patients through the halls to their different appointments as well as bring them their meals.

-Children- (6-16)

Patient - The majority of the children in the lab.
Solitary - Children that don't play with others or have proven to be a danger to others.
Corrupted - They are children that have gotten their powers and joined the forces of the guards for a certain reason.

Each child can have up to 3 powers. Keep in mind the more powers you have, the weaker they are. The powers must have limits and weaknesses. Similar powers will be more likely accepted when matched.

Name: Dr Daniel Boyer

Age: 31?

Appearance: Light brown hair and eyes, stands just at six feet tall with a lean build, though bad posture loses him and inch or two on a bad day. Has a pair of glasses on usually, can’t see well without them.

Personality: Quiet and down to business…and what a business to be in, experimenting on children. Once, he could have been called a man with very strong moral ethics. Now, with a rising crime rate to this country, and family threatened…ethics don’t matter so much anymore. The people, the military needed their results, and Dr Boyer would be the one to bring it to them.

Class: Doctor

Weapons/Abilities: Taser, Laser pointer

Name: Axel Tenno
Age: 16
Appearance: Axel has a dark green eye that shines in the light and glow in the dark and light brown hair, cut short, except for his bangs which cover where his right eye was. He wears a red t-shirt, a pair of black denim jeans, a black hoody for when it gets cold and a pair of red and black skate shoes.
Personality: He's a hard-headed, headstrong type of guy that loves to have fun. He's often laughing as he runs through the halls in what he calls a "daily game of cat and mouse". Not many people can piss him off but those who do better watch out.
Class: Patient
Powers/Weapons: Axel can morph metal. With a touch, it bends to his will and becomes whatever he wishes. His ability is harder to use closer to wood.
Other: He's in the book.

Name: Hayden Mercer
Age: 16
Appearance: Hayden has dark brown hair, nearly black, and deep blue eyes that look like oceans in the right light. He wears a blue military-like uniform, complete with shirt, undershirt, pants, boots and cap.
Personality: He's usually a calm guy, especially around his love, and often near impossible to piss off. Like Axel, however, if you do piss him off, beware. Hayden is one guy you don't want after you.
Class: Corrupted
Powers/Weapons: Hayden's powers are his weapons. With a little concentration, he can "summon" a flaming chakram in his left hand and an electric glaive in his right through his biomass. He cannot be wet or become wet with his glaive out.

Name: Dr. Richard Turner
Age: 30
Appearance: Dr. Turner has light brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a gentle appearance, despite the long, white lab coat he's always wearing. Underneath the coat, he wears a pair of black slacks, black dress shoes, light blue or white button-up shirt and a tie of varying colors and designs.
Personality: He is a kind man, always trying to help the children, despite the fact that if he were to get caught he'd lose his job.
Class: Doctor
Powers/Weapons: Being a doctor, he has no powers and the only weapon he carries on himself at all times is a pocket knife for if he gets attacked by a solitary child.
Personality: He is a kind man, always trying to help the children, despite the fact that if he were to get caught he'd lose his job.

Other: He is in the book and is the doctor of Axel, Charlie and many of the patients on floor B.

Will be adding Schroder, Dr. Li's team and a few of the other NPCs later.

Alright, here goes:

CS-

Name: Mathew Derrickson (he pervers to be called Matt)
Age: 16

Appearance: A smallish, round, almost always angry looking face is hidden below a short cut of dark blonde hair. He is somewhat tall for his age, standing at roughly 175cm.
His body is slender, yet muscular. probably the result of years of little food and rough conditions. Usually he wears the light blue uniform provided for him.

On his right wrist he wears a simple metal ring made of lead. It has only one defining feature, which is its locking mechanism. He was forced to wear this bracelet when he was still a patient, to keep him from escaping.
These days the bracelet unlocked as a sign off good faith, but Matt is only allowed to take it off, in case of emergency.

Personality: Once upon a time, Matt was a kind and rebellious little man. Always thinking about escaping the and discovering the world beyond. Him AND his 'friends'. But those days now seem like a distance past, or perhaps even a childrens dream.
It is amazing how quickly one can grow up given the right circumstances. He has seen enough death and tragedy for more than a lifetime, let alone more than a single teenager should have had to bear.

These days Mathew is hard on everyone, especially the patients. He probably still has a good hearth somewhere, but if he does, he rarely shows it. Or perhaps being hard is his way of being kind, making sure nobody else would be foolish enough, and suffer through his fatal mistakes. Between his cold attitude and the fact that he is quick to anger, some people may even call him unreasonable at times.

Weapons/Abilities:




Other: When you have been inside these facilities for as-long as Matt has, you cannot help but loose a few friend along they way.
Some may have died on the operating table, other where shot in an act of defiance. Matt has tried to escape several times, each time less and less friends remained.

@MolachSo far, so good. Yes, the Corrupted wear a uniform, which is in Hayden Mercer's CS right above yours. Let's see what the tests gave Matt.

@ScarifarAs long as you're responsible with Kate and Alex's abilities, I can see them working. A weakness is needed for each of them but, other than that, acceptable.

@Belwicket Sorry, you never added the weakness categories to the cs sheet, so I forgot to add those. They're in now.

@Belwicket You can have both red hair and white hair which are both rare to have, but it is possible to have. Also I will change Flippy's eye color but Jason's can stay because I want him to be albino.

I honestly thought I had done so already, but I must have forgotten to press the save button.
...I keep trying to press the edit button for a second time (sigh) I never learn!

EDIT: Doubt anyone has seen the old version, but.... I manged to change the secondary power into something a bit more fitting to his first one.
-It still needs a better name though, anyone?

Also... I feel like anyone with any kind of 'copycat' should probably get some additional 'precautions' installed upon him.

@MolachMatt's accepted. Normally, those powers would be off limits but you kept them small and with weaknesses. Great character.

@RokkuHoshi Thank you, I thought so too.
There were already a couple of interesting characters submitted, and I definitely did not want to lower the bar, my pride was at stake, hehe.

As for his weaknesses, I figured I'd take a power that would be more like a tool, perhaps even a piece in a puzzle. But never THE answer to the plot. So the extreme limits where necessary to keep the pieces nice and tidy. ;)

In anycase, can you give me an ETA on when we are going to start this?

@PatrickDrummerRed or white hair, yes. Blood red or snow white, no. Give an explanation or change the hair colors. They would've fixed his albinism if it proved to be problematic.

@Belwicket So if I fix the blood red and Snow White part and just say red and white then it's good?

@PatrickDrummerShe's being a bit harsh so let me help you. Change the red hair to an auburn or red-orange. As for the albinism, how badly does it affect him?
